June 2024 by J's Life (Hardly Perfect)
As a member of trustpilot I must give an honest review I started going there in 1989 and was consistently going there for some 25 years. Quality Plus Dry Cleaners always, as far as I'm concerned as having BLUE-RIBBON Service during that time. I don't see why there would be anything less delivered today with Mr. H.A. Agemy, as there was with the Founder his Father Mr. H.J.M. Agemy back then.

In mid-January (it's now mid-April), Quality Plus at Enterprise and McMullen Booth lost one of my favorite, $150 sweaters. I've been in contact with them, both written and in-person, more than 10 times, but still have not seen a written claim let alone a refund. I provided them with a receipt for the sweater, but they seem to be avoiding reimbursing me.

This business operated in bad faith. I dropped off a pair of shorts to be dry cleaned and they charged me $20. They don’t have a price list online or available to the customer when you ask for one. This allows them to charge what they want. I had the same shorts dry cleaned a few months earlier and they only charged me $8. They decided to charge me more than double because the shorts are “high end”. What difference does it make what brand a product is? The dry cleaning is based on material not brand. This place is a rip off and operated in bad faith.

I absolutely had to have four garments dry cleaned and pressed for a wedding that evening. Very pleasant and understanding woman by the name of Kim took care of me. She not only assured me that they would be ready but sent me three other texts during the day to confirm where the garments were. I picked them up that evening and they were perfect. She then followed up the next day to make sure I had received them. Cannot say enough about the cleaners and especially Kim.

**Update to my Aug 10th review...**It is now Nov. 9th and I still have nothing - the pants or the $ for the pants - from Quality Plus Cleaners. After calling on Aug. 10th and told I would hear something back, a week went by with no call back. Called again on Aug. 18th, speaking again with Lana. Was told my information would get forwarded to the owner - yet again - and it would be marked urgent. Never heard a word. Contacted the Pinellas County Consumer Protection office to file a complaint. After multiple written contacts and multiple phone calls, Quality Plus Cleaners continued to be non-responsive to Consumer Protection (letters were delivered in-person). Finally on Nov. 3rd I received a phone call from Laurie from Quality Plus, who referred to the letters from Consumer Protection. She claimed that at least one check had been sent to me but then returned. She had a second check written out to me and was going to have it driven to the Quality Cleaners in Safety Harbor for me to pick up in about an hour. We then discussed the amount of the check and the fact that it was $50 less than the value of the pants they lost. She said she would talk with the owner on Nov. 6th and get back to me. I've called twice (Nov. 8th and Nov. 9th) and left messages with no return call. 5.5 months and still nothing - no pants, no reimbursement for the lost pants. Continuous run-around from this company. They have ignored me and they have ignored Consumer Protection. This is a company that operates in a very shady way.

Quality Plus cleaners do not take responsibility for their mistakes. Don't go there. I brought in two pair of pants to be cleaned and pressed at the store on McMullen Booth and Enterprise. The presser placed creases near the side seams in wonky places and I returned the pants. I said I wanted them with either no crease or a centered crease. the lady who took back the pants said she would take care of it. When I went to pick them up again yesterday, I was going to be charged for another dry cleaning and pressing. I protested, telling the clerk to call management. When I went today, I was told there was no notice about this being a redo and I had to pay to get the pants. This is just a word of warning. Not only that, I went to their website, emailed the ceo, customer service, and info using the email addresses on the website. Returned with unrecoverable error.Follow up to my post about Quality Plus. They called me, I returned the call speaking with Laurie. I got an apology and they will be sending me a check for the second charge. They are also going to be speaking with the staff at the store and stated it is their policy if the customer is not happy to redo the work at no charge.

Brought a few of my husband's shirts and a pair of his pants to be cleaned on May 30th. Picked things up a week later...except the pants which I was told were not yet ready. Went back a week later and told the pants were not yet in but they would check on them. This continued through the month of June. It was finally shared at the beginning of July that the pants were MIA (they were listed as women's pants even though they were mens). Was told a request for reimbursement for the pants would be submitted. Went back 2 weeks later, still nothing (never submitted). Shared a picture of the same brand of pants to verify the cost and was told it would be submitted along with the request. This was 3 weeks ago. Still nothing. Was told to call customer service number which I did today. Person on that end said that she could only submit my info to the owner who would then reach out. This is beyond ridiculous. I should not have to repeatedly return to the store to find out what is going on with what they screwed up. I'm tired of this and simply want reimbursement for the pants they lost. Don't go here...find another cleaners and save yourself your money and your energy.

Good service. But some confusion on my request for alterations. I wanted t-shirts made sleeveless not wife-beater. Somehow they couldn’t figure it. Fortunately, they called before proceeding. We’ll see.

I brought in a cashmere sweater for dry cleaning back in March to Quality Plus Cleaners at McMullen Booth and Enterprise. m When I went to pick it up, it had shrunken to a child's size. (At least 3 times smaller than when I brought it in). i was told they would do a redo twice. Nothing changed. I provided the information requested to receive a refund in the amount of §98.00. I have called at least 3 times to request it and have been getting the runaround. I am very upset and think the business owner will never refund the sweater. Very poor business ethics.

Order was not ready as promised. Price quoted was not final price after extra fees not mentioned on drop off were added. Extra fees added boosted the price up considerably. Very disappointed!

Very unprofessional and poor service. They damaged my husband's Untukit shirt. They laundered this shirt rather than spot clean it. The blue color on sleeve bled throughout. The manager had an attitude and stated that it was a manufacturer's defect and that no claim will be made. I paid for them to ruin the shirt! Worst cleaners in the area. Choose another cleaners
