.Our 8 years old Catahoula Corrie was taken care of Dr Malnati and how we were skeptical on the beginning .We were absolutely thrilled on the end.She teared her ligament so she need a surgery.What a amazing facility?After couple of months after the surgery she is running again like young gun.Thank you so much for all what you did for us.Marketa and Corrie

When you find out your pup has a torn ACL two things come to mind: Which specialist that I have never met do I trust to operate on my baby? Am I going to have to sell a kidney to afford surgery? It was stressful and scary... until we met Dr. Malnati and his amazing staff! Our little potato, Isla, is very shy and scared of new people and especially new vets. They were beyond sweet, caring, and patient with her. Just a few minutes into our consultation, we knew Dr. Malnati was the right choice. He is kind and compassionate and you can tell he truly loves animals and what he does. Even with his incredible reputation - he is also incredibly humble and makes you feel like your pup is the only patient in his practice at that moment. Dr. Malnati even gives you his cell phone number after surgery if you need anything at all. The two ladies who work with him are also amazing and you can tell they truly love the pups that they work with!
As far as the kidney - we still have all of our organs! The surgery was reasonably priced and all fees were explained up front so no surprises!

Dr. Minalti is the best at what he does! A skilled expert.
Repaired both hind leg ruptured ccl’s on my Aussie 2 years apart, & I can’t imagine having gone anywhere else! He and his staff prove their sincere caring and love for the dogs they take care of every step of the way.
My extremely hyper Aussie can be himself again and is now running around as if nothing ever happened to his legs. He’s given him his quality of life back.

My 10 year old Maltichon tore her ccl and needed surgery. My Veterinarian, Dr. Cindy Culpepper recommended Dr. Malnati. I am so happy that I brought Remy here! You couldn't wish for a better experience and care. From the front desk to the vet techs to Dr. Malnati, her care was absolutely PERFECT! It was obvious by their interaction with Remy along with every dog that came in while we were there that they cared. Dr. Malnati was wonderful with Remy and took the time to explain the procedure to me so that I knew exactly what to expect The surgery went perfectly, and she is healing well. Her incision was beautiful and will be invisible once her hair grows back. Most importantly, she is doing so well. I'm having to hold her back because just eight days post surgery, she wants to run! You won't find a better surgeon ANYWHERE! If you want the best surgeon and the best experience, this is it!!!

Dr. Malnati did a absolute wonderful surgery on our little baby. She had no suffering and her recovery was just amazing. We can't say enough good about the care she had. It's been around four years since her surgery now and she's doing wonderful... Her legs are now straight and she runs around the house like a little goofball. ❤️

Dr. Malnati is absolutely the BEST!! We have a 9 year American Pit Bull Terrier (Bella) She is the second dog that Dr. Malnati treated for us. Bella is once again enjoying life. Catching frisbees flying through the air with her acrobatic antics. Chasing tennis balls down the road. Good as new!!! Thanks Doc!!!!

Our 4 year old Rottweiler had knee surgery here a few months ago and the whole experience was great. The entire staff is so kind and Dr. Malnati did an amazing job on our girl. Everything went super well with the surgery and recovery and now she is back to her old self! Can't thank the team enough.

Great place, my 12 year old doodle had acl surgery there with no issues. The doctor explained everything in detail and gave his cell phone number to text and send pictures after the surgery.

I was absolutely devastated when my 11 years old chihuahua torn her ACL and I was told she would need a surgery. Our vet suggested to see Dr. Malnati and I am so happy we followed her advice!
Dr. Malnati is one of the vets who really cares! I walked in with my pup in tears on the day of surgery ready to cancel any second. He was very patient with us and explained every step of the process. He was so gentle with little Mia that I agreed to the surgery although he was not pushing at all and left the decision up to us of course.
The surgery went super well and after 1 week Mia was already trying to run around. She is 90% healed after only 3 weeks of her surgery and we are super happy we chose Sunset Vet Surgery. Dr. Malnati provided us with his phone number and told us we could ask him any questions at any time.
