Beautiful venue! The sun sets behind the stage and they've created such a beautiful atmosphere there. The bathrooms were clean and the staff was friendly. Would see a show there anytime!

I have many problems with this venue.I've been here 3 times and it doesn't seem like they are working to fix anything.Parking is expensive. $30 at the closest lot and $20 with a bit of a walk. The lawn is terrible. First off, they sell more tickets than they can fit on the lawn. We were right next to other people on all sides and people couldn't avoid walking on our blanket. On the left side of the lawn there is a little hill with a tree. While the incline is nice to sit on, your view of the stage is blocked by the venue's support structures. This is also the first outdoor amphitheater venue I've been to that doesn't have large TV screens for the people on the lawn to see.The "forbidden items" list is way too strict. If you just buy your tickets and read the rules, it doesn't explain everything. You have to go on the website for The Sound to find out that you can only bring in small clear bags, no water bottles, no chairs and no umbrellas. They will stop you if you try to bring those in.The lines are the worst part of the venue. First you sit in a line of traffic to get here. (That's expected) Then there is a 30+ minute line to get in. I hope you didn't bring anything on the forbidden items list or you'll have to run back to your car and come back. The food lines are not equipped to handle the amount of people at this venue. First of all, all of the food comes from independent food trucks. The lines are about 20+ minutes to order and then another 15+ minutes to get your food. Here's the outrageous part... none of the food trucks are allowed to sell drinks. You need to get on another line to buy overpriced $5 Liquid Death water cans.I think that's all the problems I have.

We saw a concert here Chicago its a nice looking concert venue. But if you are sitting on the lawn you will not see the concert its not elevated far away no screens set up and no chairs allowed !The theather has no screen to see the concert .The seats are all plastic chairs all connected together I sat in section 102 when people stand up it's very hard to see .If you sit in section 200s it's worse. Then when you go to exit the venue you can not go on the grass they want you to exit at the bottom towards the water and walk around they need to fix a few things .

I absolutely love this venue! Outdoors in a lovely park, you can walk from/to downtown Clearwater. Amazing lineup of artists. Sound is terrific.

Money hungry is an understatement! They oversold this venue. We were sitting for over an hour and a half in an area looking at the crowds of people funneling into the venue with nowhere to even stand. We were then informed that we had to move since that area is "now a walkway." Family, which included young kids, had to now find a corner somewhere to squeeze into the. Find an opening to stand once the concert started. Never again Ruth Eckerd facilities! We will be getting a refund!

I can’t stop talking about The Sound. I have to check the schedule to see what’s coming up. Love the new concert venue at Coachman Park.

My only issue with the new Sound is. The relentless traffic of people walking fmg right through the stage center of the 2 seated chair sections. My seat was sect 204. It was horrible.... people never once stopped walking past the audience. It ruined views of the stage. Security a d sound employees as well were Constantly walking. Fix this! It would be a perfect place other than this huge disruption. Would u go to a movie for 14 bucks and allow constant traffic of people walking past? I paid far more than that to see Ringo.

Saw Ringo and his All-Starr band here and the show was awesome and the sound was good. Parking garages around town so not too bad for that. Food and drink lines were long and prices inflated but that is to be expected. However next day my credit card statement showed that I also paid a $2 service charge billed separately to my credit card at each vendor I used. Should allow you to bring in a water bottle, can of water is $5 on site and a $2 service charge added on later. This being Florida it was hot and the fans didn’t do much. That being said, it’s a great venue, and I will return for another show.

I love the more intimate concert experience here rather than a large Amphitheater or arena. Beautiful setting, fantastic sound system and its all redone!

?The Sound is a very nice venue for an outdoor concert, very open and airy, beautiful view of the bay in the background...... ? The setting sun can be overwhelming until it falls behind the stage, parking can be tricky, would benefit having big screen monitors on both sides of the stage to see performers up close..... Does the shape of the roof resemble a sting ray?
