I have been to the Mavis location in Clermont twice, and both times I have appreciated how the mechanics took the time to show me and explain to me, without industy jargon, what is going on with my car. I know owning a car is expensive and I trust that the quotes I receive are fair.
As a general note, all Mavis locations I have been to whether in FL or the one I visited in SC, all the crew has been polite and top notch. I highly recommend Mavis Tires & Breaks.

These guys were all strong. They had a challenge with a vendor and they stayed open to wait for this to only finish my repair. Not a lot of companies would not do that. Good guys and great work.

Edit: for months I have been meaning to rewrite this review. They replace my brake, forgot to take off the dust cover, bent something near my breaks, and my brakes still squeak. Apparently the mechanic was super sick that day. Customer service is good but mechanics need some work

Beware. Verify all work allegedly done to your vehicle if you decide to try your luck at this place.
I bought 4 new tires, paid for balance, valve stems, and alignment.
Powder coat on rims was marred when old balance weights were removed. They used a stainless steel chisel to remove them.
Valve stems weren't replaced.
The alignment machine was down and alignment wasn't performed, but they charged me anyways. (Why you should always ask for the printout)
To top it all off, their corporate office doesn't trust them to perform refunds, but isn't available to perform those refunds after hours or on Sunday. (My vehicle was there from 2 pm till 6 pm after close Saturday). I was told to "come in tomorrow", but still couldn't get refunded because it was Sunday and had to come back Monday.

Today I had the pleasure of visiting Mavis Tires & Brakes in Clermont, and I couldn't be more impressed with the service I received from Bryan, Jose and Sheldon. From the moment I walked in, the staff was welcoming, professional, and eager to assist. They quickly assessed the issue with my tire and provided a clear explanation of what needed to be done.
I highly recommend this tire repair shop to anyone in need of quick, reliable, and friendly service. I'll definitely be returning for any future tire needs!

I have had to remove my review and update. After 4 weeks of driving it is obvious that the work that was done was completed poorly. I couldn't understand why my battery kept dying, only to find out when they did the work on the alternator the battery was not replaced securely. My spark plugs were replaced yet the vehicle is shaking badly, dash lights are flickering and the check engine light turned on less than a week after they serviced it. I was charged $371 for rear shocks $400 for struts. Just parts not the labor. I later learned OEM shocks and struts are less than $400 in total. It feels like I am still driving on old shocks and struts. It is obvious to me they wanted to make sure they used all the credit I was given through FlexShopper. I had $1400 available and they ensured they found a way to legitimize using the full amount. They pretend to be friendly with you in order to pick your pockets. I learned a very expensive lesson. I will not ever use Mavis' services again.
