I had an amazing experience with Avis here in Clermont, the cars were very clean on the inside. It's maybe took no more then 10 minutes to pick up the car, the person who helped me was Anthonio he explained the return for the drop box and allowed me to check out the vehicle before I rented it out. I had a very good experience with them and plan to rent more in the future

This is a story in practiced incompetence — truly unreliable service for any business or vacation customer. They are as likely to leave you stranded as anything else.
Hilariously, I’m a “Chairman’s Club” member at Avis. No need to genuflect—the “status” is utterly meaningless.
This Avis location was is so allergic to work that they literally called after I booked a rental to say they had no cars available — which I subsequently learned to be a lie, after speaking with Avis a second time.
I won’t bore you with the details, but the bottom line is you cannot count on them. Just Uber. Or go to Hertz. My goodness, you’ll spend less and get better service.

DO NOT USE THIS LOCATION! You’re better off going to the one in Kissimmee or at MCO. They refused to allow me to use my Visa credit card. The associate would not allow me to even try to use it. He said they cannot take a Visa commercial credit card which is funny because I had a reservation with this same location in May and they used this card. The associate proceeded to tell me no Avis takes this VISA commercial card when I only use this car with Avis and have had 3 rentals in the past 3 months at this location and others. I had to bring my business to the Kissimmee location where they were able to use the card. How do you know something doesn’t work by just looking at it and not even trying it in the terminal or typing it is.

Dangerous employee!
Literally just dropped off my husband to pick up a rental for a company related drive- went to turn my vehicle around, around the corner from the front door when one of their drivers came barreling out in front of me (turning right, when I had the straight away) to park one of their rental vans. After the boy parked & got out, I stopped to ask him to be more careful as he had his ear buds in- all I got for having the cr@p scared out of me was an EXTREMELY rude & sarcastic mouth piece.
I went in to tell the front desk gentleman what had just happened & the kid comes in trying to argue but the front desk guy removed him.
Hopefully the rest of the crew is more professional & safe- and this kid gets schooled on safer driving!!!

I had a fantastic experience renting a car from Avis thanks to AJ and his team. Their customer service was exceptional from start to finish. The vehicle was clean, well-maintained, and ready to go when I arrived. AJ went above and beyond to ensure that all my needs were met, making the rental process smooth and stress-free. The pricing is unbeatable. The rental car was a basic vehicle and didn't have a navigation system, however I was able to connect it through carplay. Overall, it is good for the price. I did notice the car was not cleaned before being handed to me then but it was an okay experience

Worse rental service in the area, first they give us attitude getting a rental yesterday then we come back to the car later that day at Disney to it not starting and had to wait a few hours for someone to come jump us and then when we call in the morning to report it since this was after there operating hours, All we get is well we don’t have any vehicles at the moment (we checked ahead of time they do, just not at the same price) but call a number on the back of the key tag to have them tow you back here despite telling us they have no vehicles at the moment, cause that makes complete sense and then goes well do it in afternoon then, we’ll have a car then for you maybe. First and last time I’ll ever use Avis, come here for vacation and can’t even go any where cause of them.
