Left here with very mixed feelings. What was suppose to take a couple hours, turned into an all day deal. The issue was not fixed by closing time and subsequently required the vehicle to go to another auto care center. Also observed another customer in a very similar predicament who also spent most of the day at the facility and left, by EOD, w/o his vehicle.
I understand many of us use the internet for research, but it doesn't necessarily set one's mind at ease when you observe technicians continually on their phones while under a vehicle or its hood. All interactions with personnel was pleasant, thus the 3 stars, however the service provided was very much questionable and could use plenty improvement.

I went to Firestone in Clermont FL because my truck was starting to run hot. After the mechanic analyzed what was wrong, he called and told me that my water pump was going bad as well as an inlet hose, but because one of the hoses were going bad, I would have to replace all four. He sent me an invoice and quoted me 200% what OEM hoses were + an hour labor for each hose. Of course, I would then have to replace the water pump $250 + apparently 4 hours of labor. Total came out to be $2800 worth of work. I told the mechanic I wasn't comfortable with his analysis and pricing on the hoses and he became extremely confrontational. I took my truck to two other shops down the road to get second opinions, which I'm glad I did. Both shops couldn't find any leak, ran multiple pressure tests and the truck has no other issue. This is the exact reason as to why people have a hard time trusting mechanics. I understand establishments need to make money but making up mechanical issues is not honest business.
I will say, the front office was very hospitable and professional at all times, I just wouldn't trust the work that is done at this establishment

WARNING!! Do not go to this Firestone!! Or any other Firestone given all the numerous obvious bad reviews made here and the Firestone Corporation still has apparently done nothing to correct the issues regarding their unqualified and untrustworthy service technicians. We wish we would’ve read the reviews before taking our GMC Yukon Denali here.
We came to the Orlando area for a Florida vacation from the Chicago area. We arrived on Monday and on Tuesday we noticed the air conditioning stopped working so we searched online where to take our truck in for an air conditioner repair. Firestone popped up and we have locations in our home area so my husband took our truck there on Tuesday afternoon June 18th to be looked at. After waiting awhile they came back and said it was the air compressor, of course the most expensive issue it could possibly be. My husband did not want to have to drive the seven of us, him, myself, and our five children, from Florida to Illinois in 90 degree weather without air conditioning so he told them sure do whatever you have to do to fix it. They told him they’d have to order the part and it would be all day Wednesday June 19th to fix it. He says ok and I ordered him a rental car from the local budget, and my husband had to Uber to the Budget Rental and rent a car. Wednesday we carried on with our plans and went to Cocoa Beach, later Firestone called and said the truck was all ready to go. We left the beach and arrived at Firestone Wednesday evening and picked up the truck. My husband paid them $1,241.87 to fix our air conditioning. On our way to return the rental car my husband noticed the air conditioning is still not working, so we turned around and drove back yet again to the Firestone and told them the air still isn’t working. Now they were about to close so they said they’d look at it first thing in the morning. We drove back to our Airbnb after leaving the beach early, driving there, and driving back again to the Airbnb for nothing.
Thursday morning June 20th they called my husband at 7:30 am and say that they put in a “faulty” compressor and had to re do it all over again. We had purchased our 7 passes for Univeral Studios for Thursday so we went there in our rental we had to keep another day because of Firestone’s incapability to fix a car air conditioner for two days at this point. While at Universal Studios my husband receives a call from Firestone around 1pm saying the car is ready again. We all left Universal Studios in Orlando, drive to Firestone in Clermont to pick up our truck, then drive to the Budget rental that was another 25 minutes away, then drive back to Universal Studios after losing hours of our day there, and having to re park and walk back through the metal detectors and city walk on an extremely hot day. Also when we picked up the truck for the second time on Thursday one of the repair men said to my husband while he was outside sitting in our rental car “How’s the air now?” My husband wasn't even in our truck that was parked all the way behind the building, he was in our rental!! Was he so stoned out of his mind that he did not notice the difference between an Acadia and the huge Yukon Denali they had at their shop since Tuesday?? Are you serious? How is the air working now and he’s not even in the truck they “repaired” that was all the way behind the building down another block!! This was obviously a bad sign but we were just happy to have our truck back and ready to go for our return home on Friday morning.
Friday we leave at 10am to head back to Illinois and guess what?! Our air conditioner stopped working after about 30 minutes!! All we wanted Firestone to do was fix our air conditioning! They had our truck Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and managed to ruin every single day of our vacation, and still could not fix our air conditioning! Now it is Friday afternoon and all seven of us are suffering driving home from Florida in temperatures over the 90s without air conditioning. Thanks

Went in for an alignment and a check engine light issue. In my heart I knew that there would be other car issues detected simply because that's what all car repair businesses do to make money. Sure enough, my original car issues along with the additional detected issues turned out to be about $2000 worth of repairs! I could only afford $1400 so the additional issues had to be reduced to fit my wallet. Needless to say my first encounter with Firestone was an expensive one. The workers are friendly and respectful. The premises was clean but there were no refreshments. My car is running smoothly. Will I return? We shall see.

If I could give no stars, I would. I used to come here for maintenance but the last time I went in for an oil change, I ended up blowing up my engine. I never had an oil leak or any problems with the car, and I noticed a few days later a weird noise while accelerating. Didn’t think too much about it but then it got worse. I was told to check my oil but I thought, why do I need to do that, I just had my oil changed. Sure enough, my oil was empty. Never saw any evidence of a leak either. I took it back to them, and they claimed I had a massive leak (they even put oil all over the inside of the hood to make it look convincing ??♀️) I said there was no way that was going on, asked them what really happened, and they just refused to tell me the truth. Lying, manipulating posers that aren’t really mechanics.

Please don’t take your vehicle here. For an oil change at least. I made an appointment for 4:30pm on Saturday dropped it off at 4pm, they said they were behind and asked if I could pick it up in the morning. I understood they were busy so that was fine with me. Sunday morning comes around, I still hadn’t received a call. So I called around 11am, Daniel told me it would be about another 1hr 30min. I said okay just call me when it’s ready. I called again around 2pm and they said to give them about another 30mins. So they had my car nearly 24hrs for an OIL CHANGE. It was such terrible service they didn’t charge but when we went to pick up my car it didn’t start, and apparently “the battery was bad”. Which was very strange to me because the battery was fine and the car was running fine before it went in for this service. At the end of the day it still cost me $200 to replace the battery. I will never be using Firestone again.

The communication was lacking. I was not told about the diagnostic fee before having it done (I've been to shops that diagnose for free) My requested service for a new transmission was refused because there was rust on my truck. This is a northern vehicle with normal signs of rust. I had to pay out of my own pocket to have my vehicle towed elsewhere. I even called beforehand and explained my entire situation. I cannot recommend anyone to this location.
