Booked a couples massage as a surprise for my girlfriend for our one year anniversary. I spoke with a receptionist approximately 5 days ago who confirmed the details and the time and that we had a male/female for massage therapists. Arrived and was informed they had the wrong details regarding my massage and would have to reschedule. Thanks for the great experience will be doing business with J Sterling instead ?

Years ago, another H&S location captivated my interest due to its quality of service and customer service. Now, I have been visiting the Clermont location on several occasions and have received good messages; however, this time, I almost cried from disappointment. On 03/22/24, while waiting in the lobby for 25 minutes after my scheduled appointment, I was told that the employee canceled my appointment, which was already confirmed. I live 30 minutes from this location in Clermont. I just finished postpartum, and I was looking forward to this massage. I understand that emergencies can happen to employees, but this was not the situation. My masseuse was there in the lobby when I arrived, but she didn't know that. She then went to the room area. I thought she had gone to prepare the room for me, but no, she left her work thinking that she no longer had any appointments. When the service counter called to inform her of my appointment, she said she would not return to the appointment. That was unprofessional, and I'm not going to mention her name because I don't wish her any harm, but if I were her, I would have returned, apologized, and offered to add something to the massage for the next appointment. Unfortunately, I feel so outraged that I do not wish to return to the place.Ironically, the place and service that advocates relaxation and stress relief is intensely inefficient in other areas as relevant as the experience of receiving a massage to feel legitimately relaxed.I don't expect the management to excuse themselves by copying and pasting the same thing they have written to other reviews and only changing the name. I would like Hand And Stone to be my only relaxation alternative again as it once was.

Great place Ariel is THE BEST! She's the only LMT I've seen that has actually helped me get to places I didn't even know were what I was needing to get worked

I was given a spa gift card for $200. I looked the prices on line for massage/facials which state $69.95 so I booked an apt. What they don't tell you on the website is that price is for members only. So they pressured me into joining. If I had not that $200 would not have gotten me even 2 visits. So I reluctantly joined. However after 1 massage and 2 facials where I was "recommended" things with out being told the added cost. I was way over the gift card. So I called to cancel. I was told I was too late to cancel that month and my credit card was charged again! All told I have spent approx. $280.00 (not including tips) over the gift card. I called to be sure my membership was cancelled, was told it was. I asked if I could use that money for skin care products and was told no. Only facials or massages.. so if I do that am out even more money on tips. This place is a rip off.

Update:Bought the club membership. Word to the wise, when visiting don't accept a single massage from a guy named Andrew, well unless your into therapists passing you without any cause, how rude.

Had a great massage. Was a bit disappointed that my gift card did not qualify for an introductory rate that is listed on the website. Considering this was my first time coming here it was disappointing. In order to get that rate you have to have a membership. During check out I felt pressured to get a membership but I declined several times kind of ruined my mood after. As I said the lady who did my massage was amazing, I just didn’t like feeling pressured by the front desk. Not sure if I’ll be back.

I just had a 100 minute massage by Virginia. WOW! I’ve had a LOT of massages in my life but this was hands down the best. She did a lymphatic massage on me. Now, it hurt! But it was necessary. And I’m better for it. Virginia is now my go-to.

I wish they had multiple areas for star ratings - service with Cheri for a facial was wonderful. I highly recommend her if you are planning on getting a facial. Very pleasant experience. Front desk - wolves - they are worse than a used car dealership in the 80's! I get it they need to push memberships - but asking why you don't want a membership and then giving you attitude - well, little missy I booked a service two weeks ago and it was cancelled three times over a course of two days. So, if that's how you treat potential members - no thank you. Your front staff are great when you first walk in - but after you receive your service they are bruttal. They ruin the ambiance and experience. So, basically Cheri is great - however, if you can move past the aggressive wolves - have it!
