I purchased a brand new camper from Travelcamp at their Orange Park store in July. They omitted some items that should have been included with the camper, and there were some damaged. I took the camper here to resolve the missing items as well as several warranty items needing repaired, since they are closer to my home. I tried contacting both service departments for weeks, both never answered and wouldn’t return voicemails. I finally got a last-minute day-of appointment here on August 22nd. I brought it in, they took pictures and notes, and said they’d call in a week after contacting the manufacturer for warranty approval. They never called, so I called them back September 12th, and they said they forgot to file the warranty work and had made no progress at all. I resent them the information, and then crickets… I assumed they were waiting for parts to arrive, but they finally called me back November 20th to inform me that they were bought by Camping World and would no longer honor the warranty. So after waiting four months of my one year warranty, I still have broken components in the camper Travelcamp sold me. Obviously I can’t “boycott” Travelcamp, but guess who’s never ever giving any of their money to Camping World? This guy!

We were planning a cross country road trip so we came in for an inspection and the install of a softstart for the A/C. We left with damage to our camper, an inoperable A/C and softstart, and no confidence that any of the work was actually done. We paid about $1000.The tech damaged the outside vent trying to get at the a/c unit (when this was unnecessary). The tech damaged the wall, trying to remove the table. The tech incorrectly wired the softstart making the a/c inoperable. The tech lost a couch button cover (later recovered in the a/c storage area). All the work was sloppy, with no respect to the camper. No attention to detail. No work quality. Leftover pieces and parts from the work and tools were just left in the camper when we picked it up. Dirty hand prints were everywhere. Cabinets were opened. When we returned the camper to say the A/C and softstart were not working, they held it for a week, claimed nothing was wrong, and returned it to us still broken. And they did nothing to offer recovery for the other damage they did to the camper. There was no way we were bringing back a third time.We took it home, researched the error, opened the A/C up, and found that the wiring was incorrect, and we fixed it. The tech attached the camper white wire to the softstart blue wire. It should have been the camper white/blue wire to the softstart blue wire. This is terrible service and incompetence. Good luck to you if you choose to use their services.

We purchased our Sun-Lite Classic 18RD at the Clermont location. Our sales associate was Shane and our "deal maker" was Luis Aka GM. Shane was easy going, friendly, personable and generous with his time. We never felt rushed, he wasn't pushy or salesy. Luis worked with us and gave us a fair deal. Luis is courteous, respectful and very professional. He kept us in the loop the whole time. We know that Travelcamp has been purchased my Camping World. Going from a family owned company to large corporations can change things fast. I don't think it will change Shane & Luis or the way they treat people. If you're in the market we highly recommend these 2 people.

We recently purchased a Sun-Lite Classic 18RD from Travelcamp in Clermont, FL. We were encouraged to take it on its "Maiden Voyage" and bring it back if we needed any tweaks. We made an appointment for a Saturday at 9am. Marwan Williams received us promptly and went over our long laundry list. He was polite, patient and extremely knowledgeable and professional. Knowing that we are full-timers and would be homeless he told us he would keep us in the loop. Marwan called us every 2 hours and gaves us update. The job was completed on time and with a big smile. He walked us through all the items on our list and confirmed the adjustments or repairs. He went the extra mile and helped us with our TV wall mount. Marwan is a true professional, and a man of his word. If you're in the Clermont area and need rv repairs we highly recommend that you ask for Marwan at the Travelcamp in Clermont. Btw we know they were bought out by Camping World.

I decided for ease to consign my camper with travelcamp in Clermont. The process was really easy and the camper sold even before it was posted on the site. The problem is I have still not gotten paid. I am not sure what their internal process is but at first it was my camper needed to be funded. Not sure what this means since the buyer came with a check or funding. After, I heard that the owner has my check and needs to sign it. We are going on 4 weeks with no end in sight. If you want to consign with these guys, beware.

I purchased a 2022 Gulfstream Amerilite 24RLS from Travel Camp in Clermont FL on 9/24/2022 (SUNDAY) it was taken from the dealer to my brothers house on 9/27/2023 (Wednesday) 10 miles (approximately) sat for 3 days then taken to camp ground in Astor FL. From the moment it was set up on Sunday 10/01/2023 I have been having issues with water leaks from the shower. The shower was never sealed to the wall from the manufacturer, this should've been caught by their so called quality control team but for whatever reason it wasn't and should've been caught by the dealer during their so called "PDI" and it wasn't. I've had dealer send tech out 3 times for leaks each time they had to seal the shower in different places, I also had an issue with no hot water. According to the first tech the hot water heater was not turned on from inside where the tank is and then there is a outlet for the hot water heater to be plugged into but the tech couldn't find the plug now mind you this was the 2nd time he came out that also had to do with a water leak, he also checked my bathroom sink faucet because water was going all over the counter he stated it was because the manufacturer put the faucet back to far and my only solution is to replace it at my expense. So then a 2nd guy comes out finds the plug that the first guy couldn't find and plugs it in now why all of this wasn't done during the "PDI" no one knows, I did ask him about the faucet issue he looked at it and said absolutely not it was missing a piece and would send to me. The 3rd guy comes out due to power tripped, when the 2nd guy was out did his thing "fixed" my issue left I showered did my hair (used hair dryer) I had on the bathroom light no issues (2nd guy Saturday the 14th) Sunday the 15th another leak from shower but coming from closet in the bathroom right beside the shower (all leaks are on video and pics) Tuesday the 17th I'm doing my hair again only one light on nothing different from Saturday the 14th and my power trips, I didn't have time to check but thinking it was a breaker I'll check it when I get home from work thinking easy fix.......wrong! I check breakers they're good fuses are good , all of these leaks lead me to believe water got a hold of wiring so the main breaker tripped. This is where the 3rd guy comes in tells me power tripped from pole he goes over everything from first leak to current situation gave me things to look for stated that if leak happens again to look under the shower make sure no water there if dry then it could be the splash guard on the shower door. 10/18/2023 surprise .......leak from shower coming from closet I forwarded the video to tech at travel camp I also contacted Gulfstream to no surprise from these reviews they DO NOT STAND BEHIND THEIR PRODUCT EMPLOYEES ARE RUDE AF. I have spoken to the dealer to unwind and flat cancel deal to put me in another camper they are refusing stating nothing they can do which is BS they can they just don't want to plus I spoke to bank that financed my deal and stated that dealer can unwind and redo with another unit again the dealer doesn't want to plus they are being bought out by another dealer. We had alot of damage on our travel trailor. They handled the insurance work and replaced our travel trailor too. Mowan was absolutely a star in making sure we were happy with our unit. He went far above and beyond to make sure all work was completed. Very happy that Travelcamp has opened a local branch here in Clermont fl.

I had a difficult experience with this business. I brought my trailer to them to sell. It took them a full month to list it on the website. During that month it was parked out back closed up and hidden. When they finally listed it, they used terrible photos, even though I offered them my good photos. And they way over-priced it. As was expected, it didn’t sell, and i personally found someone else to buy it, so I just picked it up and took it back. That’s when I realized that they had broken something in the trailer, and also that a bunch of stuff had gone missing. I told the manager about this and he offered to compensate me $50. I never got that, even though I went back twice. The one positive thing I can say is everyone I dealt was very nice and friendly. They just can’t seem to deliver good service. Maybe it’s better for sales, but I’m sure I wouldn’t trust them after this. UPDATE: they mailed me the $50. If I were the manager of this place, I would have called me too. I’m glad for the $50. But it doesn’t change my desire to work with them ever again.

Rv tech Marwan Williams really helped me out. Took his time to make sure to take me step by step to make sure I knew every detail about my unit and was very helpful for all questions I had with very detailed response. 10/10 service all around with sales and service. Highly recommend!!!!

Outstanding customer service. Marwan was a excellent technician he diagnosed and fixed our RV the same day as dropoff. Entire service department friendly and puts the customer first.
