Worst customer experience. I got a call the night before that I got an upgrade to 15 ft truck without extra charge because they don’t have 10 ft. It means I will use more gas and I am ok. My pick up time is 8:00am and their opening hour for Sunday is 9:00am. I got there 8 and tried to use the app to get the key. The app crashes in the last scanning license step. So I couldn’t get the key. I called the service and wait for 40 minutes to get a representative. Before talking to the representative on the phone, the owner came in the office. I asked him to help me. He said he can’t because it has not opened yet. I had no choice but wait on the phone. Finally I got a representative and solved the problems with a lot of steps and got the key. You know what, they give me a 10 ft truck and truck does not start. That’s why they decided to upgrade. I am in a hurry because the seller can’t wait any more. Finally I got the key to 15 ft truck. When I arrived the place, I realized that they didn’t give me the furniture mover I ordered. I had to use the trolley coming in the truck. When I dropped off the truck and told the owner that they didn’t guarantee a truck for me to pick at the time I scheduled. He said I was on the phone. I asked for some reimbursement for their incompetence to cause my delay and for their guarantee. He refused and was rude. Anyway, I told him I will file a charge back for the guarantee. Thats my experience.

I would have given this transaction a 5 star review because overall I did not have a “bad” experience except when I returned the vehicle.
Before turning the van I rented back in, I stopped off at the gas station and filled the gas tank back up to the same level it was when I first picked up the van. I compared the picture I took when I first picked it up to the gas I put in before I returned it. I put back in to the van a little more than the amount that was originally in there when I received it. Unfortunately, I did not take another picture to prove this. After filling up at the gas station, I immediately drove back to the store (which was 5 minutes down the road from the gas station) and the team member I returned it to just told me to leave the keys in the ignition and I would get a emailed receipt. The team member I returned it to did not inspect the vehicle with me to verify any of the information. Before leaving the store, I went inside and checked with the team member in there to see if there was anything else they needed from me and they told me “no”. So, I left the store because they were getting ready to close. I received the email receipt shortly after and I saw that they charged me a fee for gas, stating that I didn’t fill up. The team member documented that I had returned it with less gas than what was actually in there. They also documented a higher amount of miles than what I actually drove and they charged me extra for that as well. I called the store, explained my situation, stating that they documented incorrect information and they refused to refund me the additional fees that they charged and they claimed that the information they documented was “correct”. Since this was my first time renting a U-haul, I didn’t think that I would have these types of issues and did not take any “after” photos during the time that I was returning the van to help prove that the team member took advantage and charged me more. I recommend to anyone renting from this location to make sure you take “before” and “after” photos to help keep you from being over charged and make sure you don’t leave until you inspect the vehicle together.

Went in on a Friday at 10am with an appointment, got there about ten minutes early, signed something then waited and was out of there by 10:20. I would recommend for a hitch install

False advertising. We booked a 10x10x10 storage unit. When we go to inspect it, ours had a tiny door like the smaller units. That would be fine if it would’ve been disclosed to us, in which case we would’ve canceled the unit because we booked a 10x10x10 for a reason. We need the larger door that is in the model unit in the front office! We went down to the office to see if we could be moved to a different unit with the larger door that we were expecting and was told they didn’t have any available. They have a screen showing available units and two of the size we were looking for said they were open. We asked about them and got told they couldn’t see it on their computer. Not a great experience and wasted our time.

Thank you to Samantha in scheduling who helped me figure out a 24 hour pickup location when my flight to Orlando was delayed and I couldn’t be at my original location in time. Thanks for the help and peace of mind in a stressful situation.

I thank God for this Clermont location. I was helped through the entire process with an amazing person Lizette Perez, she was kind and caring and even played with our baby during the process of getting our belongings out of our ubox unit, he loved her. She made everything quick and easy, her presence literally exudes peace and positivity! I hope whoever comes here gets to experience her with whatever you’re going there for that day. God bless!

The lady at the desk was very nice. We had a reservation for a truck and she helped us switch it to a cargo van. I also inquired about a $50 credit that was supposed to be on my account. She was more than happy to help us get that figured out. Customer service was amazing.

I had a great experience with my hitch install. Called on a Sunday, and made a Tuesday appointment. Arrived right at 8am. The 2 guys working were relaxed and nice. I was in the waiting room maybe 30 minutes and the car was done. I DID call ahead to make an appointment and make sure they had the hitch in stock, so I did not have an issue with a distro center not sending it on time or anything like that. Online reviews for the hitch state about a 50 minute install for an average person. In and out in under an hour was faster than expected. The hitch was $20 less than the cheapest place on line and $80 for install was a no brainer.

Picked up a car dolly today and the employee who was supposed to be helping me was on his phone the entire time. He was on a personal call when I picked it up and still when I got back to drop it off. It felt like he was irritated that I was interrupting his call and he didn’t look at me at all. The entire time he was looking at his phone even when trying to back the Dolly into a space. The first dolly was faulty so they had to issue another/ The person inside was nice but customer service outside was abysmal.

We highly recommend this U-Haul location. We couldn’t believe how clean this place was and the 26’ truck was the same, clean. Check-in and return process were quick. We will use this location again.

Made a reservation to have a hitch installed and I marked that I would wait for the vehicle at haul. I did my part and arrived ten minutes early for my appointment. The person at the desk checked me in, took my keys, and showed me to the waiting room.After TWO HOURS and seeing my car had still been untouched I went back out to see what the problem was. I was told that there were still two hitches ahead of me to install! The person on the phone told me it would take 30-45 minutes which is why I chose to wait with the vehicle. Someone else came out, I'm assuming the "manager" and told me that he thought I was just dropping the vehicle off. I explained that it was marked n the reservation and also when I checked it that I would be waiting. He just said "oh, a miscommunication."That was it. No apology, nothing. I'm sitting in the sad little waiting room right now still waiting. it's been four hours now!! Horrible customer service and lack of attention to any detail.
