I went today Sunday at 5:00 pm to Dollar general to buy to my mom cigarettes that she always buy it in this place. I asked the cashier for three packages and she brings me two, I told her I need three, the got mad because I asked her one more .when she back I told her in good tone if that cigarettes was the long one ( I asked to make sure because I don’t smoke and my mom repeat to me that she wants the long one. She puts the cigarettes close to me face and said you don’t see that is the long one .i told her I asked you because i don’t smoke and I want to make sure that is the one . And I told her that she has but actitud and she said that she doesn’t sale me anything know and she will call the police.
I had to go because today i don’t have time but tomorrow I will go to the office to speak to the manager

Store is so dirty, trash is in corners, and hygiene products that I wanted to purchase were used and put back in the shelf with hair on them! Told staff and they didn’t care! Staff is so disgusting and disrespectful! Staff talking to each other about what positions are best to get pregnant and showing them in front of customers while ignoring them! Staff is so rude and ignorant! Asked for help to find an item in the store and staff said too bad I’m not helping because it’s the weekend! She was working in uniform not on break not off but fully dressed for work cashing people out when she wasn’t putting decorations up but refused to help me! Didn’t bat and eye and was just so rude! I’ve never been to such a ghetto location like this before. Do better Dollar general and hire better staff that doesn’t act like complete fools with no sense of customer service!

I was visiting and stop in the stop for a few items. I walked in and the lady at the register start yelling at me about showing her paperwork for my service dog from behind the register like an idiot. I was trying to explain legally I didn’t have to show her he was wearing his vest. Although I have the information saved on my phone the only place that requires it is the airport or government building not some dust unorganized General Dollar cashier. She was yelling like a fool in front of people like she paid me to shop there. I’m going to report it to Disability Rights Florida.

Mercedes is totally awful. After attempting the store like I don't know hours from living here. She made that last attempt horrible. After working in business we know hours and try to get in and out. After I explained to her that maybe those last minute sells help her dollar general she was like I'm off and don't care. This person was very rude twice this weekLike I know when stores close but does she know that bottom cent rank up for her company

I am so thrilled to be writing this review!! This store has the most nicest staff I've ever met! Jalessaand Starla really go the extra mile! These two women really should get raises due to having such great attitudes. I look forward to the next time I visit The Dollar General in Clewiston again. Just to walk into the store, they treat you with respect and kindness. I like the store also. The restroom is spotless! Please give these two women something to honor them.
