Been to many gyms within the 5 states I’ve lived, you won’t find a better, more welcoming place than off the grid. Frank not only is a topOf the line jiu jitsu practitioner and coach, but truly one of the greatest people around. Great for all levels. You will feel welcome and comfortable as soon as you walk in, and very importantly the place is clean, the mats are clean. If you are looking for a place to train in Brevard or surrounding areas. Off the grid is the spot!

OTG BJJ has been a staple in my life since moving down to Cocoa Beach from Pennsylvania. I didn't get introduced to this sport until later on in life and was nervous about starting, but Professor Frank and everyone involved have made it awesome. It doesn't matter if you are one of the young guns in his kids classes or one of the older folk like myself. Everyone feels at home and is welcomed. I couldn't be happier with trying something new and it being with OTG! So this is not only a review but a THANK YOU!

When I joined the Jiu-Jitsu class in Off the grid BJJ, I felt like I am at my own home, because all the people who is here in Off the grid BJJ, they are more then like family. They are always welcoming everyone, always got their back, and supporting them in every aspect. With my knowledge I am telling this, because this is real information. Professor Frank, and Professor Jones, are very educated, and great Professors in Jiu-jitsu. They are always friendly to us, and they are talking to us like we are their brothas. I am happy to be here in the Off the grid BJJ, and I am giving 5 stars to this great class, and If I got chance I would give unlimited stars to this great class!! ❤️

Off the Grid is the superior gym of this area. My children look up to Coach Frank and truly love learning from him. The atmosphere is fun but productive. I take the women’s class for self defense but have learned so much more. I was nervous to begin but everyone was so welcoming. From the second you start you feel like your apart of the family.

This is truly one of the best jiu jitsu gyms I’ve been to. I’ve been to at least ten different gyms because I travel a lot. The adults class was was very thorough. We started with warmups, take down drill/techniques, offensive/defense drill/techniques, and rolls. When on the cape don’t hesitate to go to this gym. Also the black belt is a lineage of rob kahn which is a legend

When I spent a few months in cocoa beach for work, I wanted to find a gym to keep training. Off The Grid turned out to be the highlight of my trip. Professor Frank and Jon treated me like family while also improving my jiu jitsu! The coaching is top notch, but the culture among the students, and families takes this gym to a different level . Thank you Frank, Jon, Koa, cheech and all new OTG friends.

Off the Grid BJJ is the perfect name for this wonderful gym. I never thought that Coacoa Beach would have a place for me to train! The plan was only to visit family and get a tan - what a pleasant surprise!I’m going through a tough time in my life and I treated myself to a mental health vacation.I trained here for a week as a traveling blue belt and fell in love with everyone’s energy and the atmosphere that it creates.I felt so incredibly welcome in each class and it was a privilege to roll with these gentle killers on the mat. I’ve got some mileage on my body - a knee surgery, two shoulder surgeries, and I suffer from neck pain. I work a physical job and can’t get hurt so I am highly selective about where I train. I have been rolling for 6 years and I’ve been to the good and bad. Let me say that this gym is all greatness. Thank you to everyone for flowing and matching my energy. I had a blast with each and every one of you and I am thankful for the really technical rolls.I haven’t had a permanent gym in about 4 years and I’d pick this place if I could stick around. Beaches, fishing, and Jiu Jitsu in one area. Am I really leaving this place?This gym takes pride in cleanliness and cares about its people. I will miss everyone and I can’t wait to visit next year! My son has been attending for a couple years now. Coach Frank is the absolute best. I highly recommend getting your kids into BJJ at OTG.

I traveled to Cocoa for work for the greater part of two years. 5 minutes of research and I landed on OTG. I dropped into a class the night I flew in and immediately knew it was a place I would frequent each time I was in town. Frank is one of the most hospitable people you will ever meet, and his instruction is both technical and entertaining. He keeps the environment fun and engaging. If you love snatching necks and locking legs, then this is the place to go!!

Myself, my wife, and my children have all come to different events at this studio. The owner, Frank, brings so much energy to the classes and the community. It is not often that a business moves into the territory of feeling like a solid community, but this is one of those rare exceptions. We are not your typical "fighters" at all. I even asked Frank to be careful as one of my children is a more sensitive type. Frank paired the child with other children who understood how to work with a beginner and with a similar or compatible temperament. To my surprise both my children liked the class (may not be a big deal for some families but this was pretty breakthrough for us). I highly recommend!

Best place I have ever trained, The coach Frank (Dukes) always gets to know student on a personal level and is very kind as well as content with making sure everyone understands what is being learned. The regulars that train there are also very kind people who really go out of their way to help out.10/10, 100% recommended !!!!
