What a great concept! Staff member Megan helped us all along the way. Can use an update on more fun occupations. All the kids complained they didn't want to be adults anymore. I'd say mission accomplished. That's how we all feel! Lol

03/01/2023: Second time volunteering. Last time I was here, my oldest son was on 5th grade. This time my youngest son is the 5th grader. It's a great teaching tool for these students. They get hands-on experience on what adult life is sort of like. Majority of them were pretty much pooped out at the end of the day. You'd think that this would give better understanding what their parents/guardians/caregivers do on the daily.

Great experience to share with the kids. They get a taste of real life. My kid told me how now understands some of what I go thru to make sure they have everything they need. Can't wait to go with my other kids when they get a bit older. INVALUABLE!

This place is absolutely horrible. If I could give it 0 stars I would. I went on a “field trip” here today (more like a trip to prison because it was boring) and to start off, they gave us these iPads that barely even work (My screen kept freezing and I kept getting logged out of my account). Then we had to walk around to different areas of the park and get random PIN codes to unlock things and it was hella boring. That took forever and we were starving they didn’t let us eat until the end of the day. Then after we unlocked everything, we had to start budgeting and shopping and what not. It was incredibly hard since not only were the iPads barely working, but also, it kept giving me all these disclaimers. It was so hard I couldn’t even finish what I had to do on the iPad by the time it was time to leave. Also, the lady making all the announcements was incredibly rude to me and had a bad attitude. I asked her for help with resetting the iPad when we had to leave and she told me to go back to my group and deal with it. Please don’t ever go to this place it sucks you will have a bad time. The only good thing I can say is the other lady working there was really nice and helpful and she helped me out when my screen was stuck. Sorry this was kinda long just trying to warn people.

This place is amazing. Definitely a great experience for your children to learn about planning their finances once they become adults. So much close to real life. Recommended.

Great real world learning experience for students. I enjoyed that they learned about different careers/trades and then had to do hand on calculating to budget all their expenses.

This is a great place for kids to get to be adults for the day. The kids get to play out real life economic scenarios. All kids should go through this program!

Really cool experience for my 5th grader! She and her classmates got to work, shop, and bank at various stores. Each had a specific job description. Awesome beginners lessons in working and financial literacy.
