The salesman Chris needs to be FIRED !!! They sold me my truck with the missing skeleton key and I had to keep calling and went 3 times to finally get a Skeleton key. Chris was very distasteful and argumentative with no help nor was he apologetic. I love my car but this Toyota is horrible. I hope they get better salesman than care about their customer satisfaction and not just their down payments .

So, I don’t usually write reviews but this one had to be done. I met the Salesmen Hugues Dorzilme who played in our face. Him and the manager wasted our time. Hugues made the mistake of not letting us leave the dealership when he knew we did not meet the requirements to get a car. Instead he made me and my boyfriend come back with my mother thinking she was going to get a car only for her to leave without one. And it was her birthday and I was trying to do something nice for her. If I could give this review ZERO stars I would. One thing I don’t like is a two-faced person and Hugues was exactly that person. I highly do not recommend this place at all. You can NOT trust these people. You want to trust the people who keep it real with you and not sell dreams.

I really love Al Hendrickson’s Preowned. Excellent job by Evan Lemons, Prince and Garrett. There is a great selection of inventory. I had previously been to a dozen dealerships and knew the market pretty well. Ultimately I found a Mazda CX5 carbon edition here at Al Hendrickson’s. The entire process was very easy and I found everyone super professional. Highly recommend traveling the distance from Miami or Ft Lauderdale. Tremendous value!

Great place if you want your time wasted. Called ahead and they confirmed a vehicle I was interested in was available. They set an appointment and I showed up but the vehicle was allegedly sold and “driven off the lot” in the hour it took me to get there. Of course they offered to show me other vehicles but it was a clear bait and switch tactic.

DO NOT BUY A CAR HERE...LET ME SAY IT AGAIN DO NOT BUY A CAR HERE!!! BUYER BEWARE YOU WILL PAY AT LEAST 4K OVER THE AD PRICE and then some. These folks will.shake you down and wear you down until they have amassed over 6k over the price you thought you were going to pay for that nice car you so much wanted. That was my experience and this is why I'm sharing it here. I spent four hours and still feel I paid too much. on top of that they're so focused in closing the sale, i.e. sign papers, that they'll forget to give you the car un decent shape. No cleaning the car, no filling the tank, not even a working battery. That's right I had to leave the car after all that mess because the car did not have a working battery...and tomorrow I'm supposed to get the car...so this isn't quite over yet

Tried to purchase a used 4 Runner got low balled on my trade in. I was told they had to speak to the GM about matching my trade offer from a competitor. Never got a call then when i asked my sales person i was told they sold the truck (they didn’t) then i was told they don’t match trade offers. A week later I got a call from a manager who said he would call me back and that never happened! The owner of this dealer should fire everyone and start over! I purchased two cars from this dealer in the past, and never experienced this kind of service.

I’ve been a customer for a few years and never had an issue until now. Overall disappointed, things are not handled in a timely manner(like months later). Don’t waste time here, go to another Toyota dealer.

I liked the attention, very attentive, but for the same reason they add services to the sales package that make the cars more expensive, without necessity, such as paint insurance inside and out

Our sales person was nice and professional. The sales experience however felt deceitful. We had done our research online for several vehicles, in the general area, of similar cost and type. Other dealerships gave us a breakdown of everything up front, with no hidden extras. That was not the case with Al Hendrickson pre-owned. As soon as we sat down to discuss price, they threw in a $2,000 MANDATORY "Al Hendrickson Advantage" package - that you cannot refuse to purchase with your vehicle. It is filled with options that other dealerships might also ask you about, but never FORCE you to add it...like cleaning headlights, anti-theft or roadside assistance, etc.It quickly soured our experience, as the vehicle we were looking at already had exterior paint, electronic keypad, rear wiper and carpet issues we wanted to bring up in the negotiation of price. It was no longer a good deal and we left.We subsequently went back to Autonation Ford Margate and had very pleasant purchase experience and would recommend them to anyone. I would suggest that A.H. Pre-owned update their prices online, like Autotrader, to reflect this mandatory fee to avoid this deceitful feeling practice.

Lorenze the sales manager is the worst person I’ve ever met in my life. I was texting with one of the representatives and told them I was going to be a little late. I got to the dealership 30 minutes before closing. I went inside and no one greeted me. I went up to the Lorenze the sales manager and he said “I’m already doing my paperwork, we’re closing soon” . What a slap in the face after driving an hour. This guy is the scum of the earth. I can’t believe why anyone would ever hire him. He’s sinking the place single handedly.

Buying a car had never been so unpleasant before. The sales person pushed us for 3 hours to buy the car until we decided to leave.Next day we came back, honestly just because the car was a good deal. Communication and organization are definitely not things to be found at this place. Each process was painful.Today 10 days later after purchase, the loan for the car we traded in is still active because Toyota has not paid it off.We are still waiting for our back headrests (the car didn’t have them) which we pretty much had to beg the sales person to order as per agreed on the contract.I would never recommend this place to any friend or family.Buying a car should be a happy and exciting experience. Not this upsetting and never ending process.

We purchased a vehicle from Al Hendrickson the night of Tuesday 12/26. Friday morning 12/29 the car would not start because the battery died. I called the dealership multiple times on Friday and kept being sent to voicemail until I was finally able to get ahold of financial advisor Hilary. We explained what happened to Hilary and explained that we cannot drive a total of 6 hours to the dealership and back home for a second time that week just to get the battery replaced. She said she would see what she could do and would call us back. We never received a call back from Hilary so we went to another dealership in Orlando and got the battery replaced at their cost, $175. I continued calling Al Hendrickson from 12/29-1/2 and left multiple voicemails for Hilary regarding a reimbursement of $175 but surprise surprise, I never received a call back. Finally today I was able to get ahold of Hilary who ended up transferring me to an incredibly unprofessional sales manager who told me there is nothing they can do about the battery that died less than 3 days after purchasing the vehicle from them which goes against their 30 day policy. We also never received any documentation about the service history of the vehicle and when I mentioned that multiple times through my phone call with the sales manager, it went completely unaddressed. We spoke with him briefly the day we purchased the vehicle and he was just as unhelpful and unprofessional then. In fact, the only reason I knew I was speaking to the same sales manager when I called in is due to his lack of attentiveness and hospitality. All around a horrible experience and they’ve made it clear they are not willing to help their customers, even less than 3 days after the purchase is made.

Stay away! Save yourself the time, stress, and frustration. I totally recommend you take your buisness ELSEWHERE especially if you want to finance. I had the most horrible experience at pre owned al hendrickson toyota they are non professional, liars! Scammers! not to mention very rude to there customers . When I was in the lobby trying to cancel my contract the next day because I was mislead and scammed, I asked to speak to the head supervisor he said he was the supervisor come to find out later he wasn't, he lied and he was very rude and he said I quote.. they can absolutely not cancel my contract and they were already funded, which was another lie..and while he was being nasty trying to make me feel like I was stupid. 2 other customers were screaming in the lobby saying they were scammed and they are liars I knew i wasnt wrong So I went next door to the new car al hendrickson toyota and finally got to speak to the REAL general manager I explained everything that happened and they resolved my problem thank god. I feel sorry for the people who got screwed over by them because I know the feeling it felt horrible..and this is why I'm writing this review hopefully it helps prevent innocent people from being scammed out of there money especially in these hard times noone deserves that.

Pretty bad experience trying to purchase a vehicle I was highly interested in. Had talked to few different salespeople, all of which never gave me their name. They refused to work with me on my trade since I’m not local and sales manager told me they would honor offer for competitors like carvana, vroom, carmax. I got an offer from vroom and tried contacting dealer again, but received no response. I have never heard of dealer not working internet deal as my last car was fully purchased online and just had to go through finance when I got to dealer in and out in 1 hour. I’m not sure how this dealer is making money not helping people who are not local. I told them I would come get car if they honored baseline vroom offer for trade but response. Never had an experience this bad when looking for a vehicle. Salesperson gave me a range of trade value and then manager tells me “yeah she shouldn’t have done that as we can’t work with trade until we see it “(had already sent them info on trade and detailed pictures). Overall, not very professional and really was ready to purchase the vehicle so it sucks I had this experience !
