My recent encounter with U-Haul's U-Boxes service has been nothing short of a frustrating and disappointing ordeal. After renting six U-Boxes for a time-sensitive relocation, the entire experience turned into a logistical nightmare. To begin with, two of the U-Boxes were inexplicably lost during transit, causing significant delays and uncertainty about the whereabouts of my belongings. This alone created undue stress and inconvenience, as I was counting on a timely arrival at my new location. When the shipment finally arrived, the troubles didn't cease. Despite assurances of timely delivery, U-Haul failed to meet their promised schedule. Furthermore, their explanation for not delivering the boxes to my address due to purported size limitations on the road was perplexing and contradictory. It was asserted that the road was unsuitable for their trucks, despite similar vehicles traversing the same route regularly. This discrepancy between U-Haul's claims and the reality of everyday traffic on the road raises serious questions about their logistics and operational integrity. It seems evident that U-Haul's U-Boxes service is not a priority within their business model, resulting in inadequate handling and poor communication throughout the process. Regrettably, this experience has left me deeply dissatisfied and distrustful of U-Haul's U-Boxes service. The mishandling of shipments, lack of timely delivery, and perplexing excuses about road size limitations all contribute to a substantial failure on their part. I would strongly advise anyone considering this service to explore alternative options to avoid potential logistical hassles and disappointments. In conclusion, the entire experience with U-Haul U-Boxes has been riddled with inefficiencies and inadequate service. The company's handling of both the loading and receiving ends of the rental process has been subpar, leaving a trail of inconvenience and frustration.

If I could give a negative star I would. Do not go to this location. They smile in your face when you are in person to rent a truck. Then weeks later, they tried to charge almost $2,000 to the card used weeks ago in their store again within 20 mins on a Friday night. NO BROKEYS!!!! Bank flagged it as fraud and I immediately closed the account. The audacity of the low life who prey on people giving your shady a$$ location business is disgusting! Dont ever use your card or do business with this location. If this place is your only choice, GO some place else! They will steal your card and try to steal from you. DISGUSTING! I am reporting this to BBB and Coconut Creek police!

The absolute worse customer service I've ever received in my life! From the employees to the manager everyone has very nasty attitudes about having to do their job. Stay far away from here. Our rental truck was disgusting! Looked as if they didn't even bother to clean it & smelled like nothing but cigarettes. Trust me don't waste your time.

I rented a truck yesterday. Smelled like somebody was smoking mariguana right before. I spent 1/4 of fuel during my trip but they're charging me $50 dollars just the fuel! Not happy. Looks like theres some monkey business with the fuel and charging customers to me. Now waiting and waiting to file a complaint in customer service... My last experience with them was also bad, as manager was very rude, but didn't write a review. Though I'd just do through app and avoid having to deal with personnel, but looks like they just can't get to hire adequate people... Hope they read it an take action cause I live in boca.

Don't even waste your time making a reservation at this location,,, we made a reservation 2 weeks in advanced to come get our uhaul today for them to have given it to someone else. our pick up time was at 9:30 and they were gunna have us come back at 4PM to get our truck. Moving is one of the most stressful things to experience and they made it so much worse. never would recommend this location.

If you call and are place on hold you will understand when you're in the environment. These people are working from one end of the store to the next. The manager Chantel shows great value to her customers while being harassed by Karen's. The trailer and U-box crew are working tirelessly with screaming impatient customer hounding them for check in's and check out'a when brought knowledge of the checking in and out online. I give it to this group for dealing with this hostile environment. A customer walked right in to the management offices demanding her to give her assistances, while being assisted by another young lady. She then threw her paper work at a young man for taking necessary precautions on loading trailer on to her truck, then processed to drive off. Beside that I was taken care of in a timely manor. Given my U-box and truck in a matter of 15Mins.

Looking forward to moving my belongings out of this storage facility within the next couple of months. The facility is so secure that even you, as a customer who pays close to $200 a month, can't even get in. I "attempt" to go up to my unit at least twice a week and each and every time either have to wait until another customer comes out so that the door opens up and I can get in OR go to the office to wait in line, have them check to make sure that I've paid my bill, and then they rescan my card & change my passcode (which takes 24 hrs. to become legit), AND THEN one of the employees has to walk me back to the door to let me in - all of this only to play it over again the next time that I make the attempt to get to my belongings. I've heard the same frustration from quite a few of their customers. Such a hassle. Time for a change.

WARNING!!! Do not rent from this location!!! we rented a truck ahead of time (week in advance) when we arrived (10 minutes later than expected reservation time) they had given our all day reserved truck to another costumer. There's so many components in the move process, like elevator reservations workers to help with process etc. and when at location they literally didn't give a crap. They made absolutely no effort to accommodate us in another truck or anything else. Horrible experience. Horrible costumer service!!! And zero empathy for the headaches they've now caused!! Definitely following up on this with the Better Business Bureau!

Literally the worst moving experience I had because of this Uhaul branch. I reserved a 15 foot truck for 8 am pickup with two dollies and one furniture dolly/cart. I received a phone call from uhaul less than 12 hours from pickup time that my truck wasn't available and that they don't have any other trucks to give me. Essentially a "that sucks too bad". They said it could be available by 11:45 am so I said "okay", and when 11:45 am came I called and by no surprise at that point, the truck wasn't available until the evening. Somehow they finally said they had a 17 foot truck to upgrade me to and that it's ready for use. They did not have the dollies and the furniture dolly/cart that I reserved online- again what's the point of reserving anything if they don't have it or provide it as reserved? The 17 foot truck was obviously not cleaned as the cup holders and console were all disgusting and sticky from whoever used it before. Literally couldn't have been a less reliable company to rent a truck from. I have no idea how these people stay in business. Especially as they showed very little remorse for the inconvenience they caused and definitely didn't discount for said inconvenience. They couldn't have cared less that I had a reserved time to move into my new apartment.
