I usually go to the Walmart in Turtle Creek and I love it there, but the Hillsboro Walmart has been able to fill scripts that most other places have been out of and it's been fantastic. I don't know what I would do if that Hillsboro pharmacy was not there right now.

Do not take your prescriptions here. They are extremely ignorant and rude. I have ADD and stimulants give me severe anxiety but I am a PhD candidate and I need to be able to focus at least some of the days, so for years I've been taking a small dose of Adderall and Xanax as needed two or three times a week. To save on Dr. visits tho I'd get larger amounts per prescription but would fill them every 3-4 months (and I'm sure they can see that in their system) and would break the pills in half or 1/4. I am a neuroscientist and have my strong opinions on psychopharmacology. So I talked to my Dr. and said I believe with short acting stuff it's best to alternate to avoid tolerance, so I asked to instead of 60 Xanax get 30 and 30 of a different kind of benzodiazepine. And instead of 60 Adderall give me 40 and 10 Vyvanse (a slow release amphetamine salt). My Dr. thought it made sense and called them in. So when I called to see if they've been filled they asked why I was getting the two new ones in addition to what I used to get. I explained that it wasn't in addition and it was replacing half of the old ones. They got the second authorization from my doctor but still refused to fill them. So I called my Dr. back and said to just change them to the original same thing I'd been getting for years. I called and they still said they won't give me THE EXACT SAME THING as I'd been getting for years. I believe they need to hire a rational or educated person there to stop this non-sense.

The store is always clean. They have a lot of options and good inventory. The prices are always great to. Everything is always stocked up and organize. However when you order online and go to the pick up area the wait times to be really long if it's a big package. What time I ordered cat litter and they took almost 15 minutes to get it. I could've just gone by myself picked it up and paid at the register. I also ordered a bike that was supposed to be assembled. They took 30 minutes to bring it out and it wasn't even a sample. I had to come back. Second time I came I also had to wait another 30 minutes

How I spent my Saturday morning.....This is how the local Coconut Creek Walmart operates and then the Walmart corporate customer service response is a joke, not even an answer to the issue. Feel free to share. I will be going further up with this for sure! First my complaint then their response....I spent my first half of my career in store and corporate retail, I would fire or write up people for lack of customer service like this. I called AMEX # and hopefully they will resolve the $ issue but IF they can it will take 7 days, they see the transactions as pending payment to Walmart.(over an hour between hold time and talking to someone) Customer By (12/21/2019 02:00 PM) I'd like a call from the regional manager or store manager for Walmart Supercenter #1916 in Coconut Creek, FL due to a horrible experience w/ 2 asst. managers Bruno & Khambrel. I spent close to 2 hours in the store trying to resolve the issue w/ no help from either of them & their refusal to resolve at store level w/ upper management assistance per my request. I work for a non profit & was buying gifts for our pro bono clients. I had donated $25 Amex gift cards as form of payment. The total was $169.07 and I started to pay with the $25 gift cards, each card went through reducing the balance by $25. After 5 gift cards successfully approved the balance was $44.07. I swiped the 6th gift card, the register would not take it. Customer service manager Angie was called over & she stated that Walmart limits 5 forms of payment per transaction and the sale is now blocked. The cashier nor I knew this prior to me swiping the cards. Angie decided to abort the sale, start over and split my order into 2 separate transactions so I can pay with all my Amex gift cards. Upon trying to pay with the first gift card it would not take, turns out all the money on each card was already taken by your system. Angie took me and the merchandise to customer service to resolve. She called Amex # and we were on hold for almost 30 minutes only to be disconnected. We both agreed a good idea would be for Walmart to keep the 5 Amex cards and resolve w/ them by providing proof from the register report that the gift cards were good, issuing me a $125 Walmart gift card that would right away be used for partial payment of my $169.07 purchase and then I would provide the remaining balance with another 2 Amex gift cards I had. Assistant Manager Khambrel was called to ask for approval. By this time I am there well over an hour, Khambrel comes over, no hello, no I'm sorry for the delay or this has happened....nothing! his only resolution was that it was not Walmart's problem and I need to resolve myself with AMEX. I explained it was his store that did not have a cashier trained to know what would happen after using 5 forms of payment & a customer service manager that aborted the sale, he didn' t care & walked away. Angie was understanding and upon my request got another manager,. Assistant Manager Bruno came over and refused to do anything since he was at an equal level of the other manager. I asked for a store manager or regional manager, a help desk, anyone to resolve so I don't leave the store possibly out the $125 and no gifts, he refused, told me if I have a problem I can call an 800 # myself. Now 2 hours I am furious and said it is crazy and gave a minor fist tap to the counter out of frustration. Bruno was sarcastic and said "do that again and you will be banned from the store". I could not take it anymore!!! I left the items, left minus $125 in gift cards that were donated to our non profit &totally upset. Again, I would like a call to discuss further. On 10/29 I went to this Walmart pharmacy to fill 2 prescriptions for a relative who had surgery nearby. I'm told it would be 35 minutes (only 1 person ahead of me.) I asked if they could hurry as I had to pick up my relative. My phone went off a couple minutes later, texting that the script was being filled (waste of time.) I went to the Subway inside this store to order a pizza. I was told by the young man working there that they were out of pizza boxes so he couldn't make one. Phone goes off again from the pharmacy. I go over and find they're out of one script and only had it in a lower dosage. I said lower is ok and am told the Dr. has to authorize and now its after hours. I ask for a manager but she is busy in customer service. After 35 minutes I get a call to pick up my relative . I ask for the one script and it wasn't ready. I go to pick him up and the phone goes off that the meds are ready. ;I come back and no one is in line. The young woman behind the counter has the meds in a plastic hanging bag, takes the script out, rings me up, then hangs it back up behind her again and tells me to go to the next window where a man hands it to me. So 3 useless time consuming texts, out of a common medication and the person behind the counter then can't directly hand me the meds??? Totally unacceptable. How do I know they are common meds? I went to CVS after and the pharmacist was shocked that any pharmacy was out of them. My relative had asked me to get him water (only if it was quick, on the way out.) I saw machines outside the exit and put money in and of course the drink machine was out of water. This was terrible experience after a long tense day. I will never return to that store. It had poor, ok, non existent service at that location.

This Hass to be like the biggest Walmart I have ever seen. There are like so many entrances it feels like. There is parking everywhere. It's great because you can go grab a sandwich from the local subway inside. You can get lost in this place.

It's a Walmart Super Center.... I stop in this store from time to time. When I visit this store I'm mostly in the grocery section shopping for fruits and vegetables. If you are they type that get cold from the A/C, bring a coat, this place is freezing! They have a variety of fast food stuff at the front of the store if you need a quick bite before you shop. This store is located on the NE corner of US 441 & Hillsboro Ave in Coconut Creek, FL.

It's like any other Walmart even enough check out lines open. But they do have two self check which help with a speed check out if you don't mind doing it yourself. They up date there subway but it's the same people working behind the counter so I don't go in there anymore.... The nail and hair places right next door are good for the price.$$. If anything the main reason I'm give them 5 star has to do with there online pick up. I order things online quite frequently and pick is super fast. In the last 4 months I have started using there online Grocery function and it's a time saver an a half , My two favorite people to bring me groceries to the have have to be this Takeria and Noel there always friendly and fast. I do feel bad for them when it's raining and they have to come out with groceries but that Florida for you. ........The Walmart need to build them a tarp or some type of coverage so they are able to take the heat and the rain when we have it.

So i have been trying to buy a bb gun since memorial day. I have bought 2 and they both have not worked. They all seem to have been returned damaged and placed back out for sale. To further the problem the two i purchased on seperate occasions were the only items that seemed to be in the original packaging. The department is a MESS. There are open packages strewn about and it hasn't been touched in weeks! The fishing tackle is the same way. All of the product is thrown on bottom shelf and left for weeks. Unfortunately the low price leader has run all of the small places that used to give a crap out of business and this is the new standard. The only reason i shop is for items i can't get any where else. Also wtf is the shakedown at the front door....i am not stopping for a reciept check......how do we put up with that....imagine someone trying to do that a publix yall would loose your mind. Low prices dont mean lower your values people.....

Great store overall ! Employees are helpful, and the grocery pick up here is great as well. Managers are willing to go out of their way, to help a customer. Will be returning, every time I'm in the area.
