The moment I walked in I was warmly greeted by the front desk staff. Everyone was professional and friendly and thorough. Dr. Greenbaum was warm and caring and focused on my health and she worked with my schedule. I highly recommend Hollywood Eye Center.

They seem to provide good services but the wait is too long. Be prepared to wait in the front more than 1 hour to be seen plus another hour in the back to be treated EVERY SINGLE TIME. Found another provider.

I have to say, Hollywood Eye Institute delivers unbelievable results. I was scared about having an eye disease and I have struggled with dry eye for years. Dr. Amberg and Dr. Greenbaum have treated my severe dry eye with IPL technology and it was never offered at any previous ophthalmology offices. My eyes feel better than ever and I am excited to continue care with them. Thank you for taking great care of me. Great staff and experience.

I agree with Len Nassi's review from 3 weeks ago. I visited this place for some minor blurred vision. I was later told I had MGD (dry eyes.) Same as Len's review, I was offered out of pocket exams and treatments. I followed through with it but change my mind after paying a part of the payment for one treatment in specific. It took them over 1 month to refund me. I called over 10x and left messages which were NEVER returned. I'd seen Dr. Amberg whom seemed so excited to sell me things that she said she'd investigated and had tried on herself for one year. She even called another doctor in to look at my skin (I have rosacea)and see if I'm eligible for some SKIN laser treatment. I was not there for a dermatology appointment. I'm not kidding, but they both looked like cartoons with the $ sign in their eyes. Ive never seen such excitement and it made me skeptical of their interest. I felt like a specimen on a petri dish. Weird. Another most annoying aspect was the waiting time. On average, 3 hrs. For what would normally take 1 hr or less. We were all moved from one waiting area to another and so forth. Everyone in the waiting room complained amongst themselves and with others. This took place both times I visited, weeks apart. I ended up with no resolution to my vision concern because Dr. Amberg didn't want to give me a script for glasses. She instead wanted me to do an ilux treatment which is gonna be needed every few months. At $600 oop for a 10 min procedure. This place is appalling. Needless to say, I have to go see another eye dr. Will never go back!!!
Ps: I did not get verbally abusive, but others stood up to complain at the front desk for the extreme wait. If that's the verbal abuse they accused Len of, then maybe they need a man at the front desk.
Edit: Definitely not the place for me as I spent money out of pocket for nothing. I still don't have improved vision. I wasn't given a script which she was sure I didn't need if I did Ilux. Since I didn't want to spend $600 every few months (or less, I found out after researching) for Ilux, I preferred glasses. I'm the customer. But I got no script, wasted money and time and had no resolution. I didn't care for a dermatological assessment. Regardless of the cause for dry eyes (in my case), I elected not to do Ilux. Overall, zero resolution from your office and over a month to refund me but only seconds to take the money. Forgot to mention that bit huh? Do better😄

Dr. Amberg is excellent! She is an amazing Doctor and I appreciate her so much. She truly has an exceptional personality and gives attention to every detail that concerns me. The whole office is the best and I want to thank them all for taking such good care of me.

Worst place to go. They will bleed you dry from charges to charges. Paid like 7k for just one lazer surgery for a cataract. And its not even good! One tech even accused customer of stealing just a tissue box, unbelievable.
