I had been calling for the past three days to make an appointment and they never picked up the phone. They left me on hold for 25 mins and the next day they didn’t even bother and would just send me to voicemail and now someone pickup the phone, didn’t say a word and just send me on hold. I pay for a yearly service and they can’t seem to even bother to answer the phone. Very disappointed.

I am very happy with each and every one of the girls on the front desk and back room staff, I always recommend them, they are attentive, careful, patient with my pet who is special and they help me make his visit more pleasant.

It is impossible to make an appointment online, theSystem is terrible, I wasted a lot of time on that! And on the phone I had to call three times and they left me waiting. I finally spoke to someone named Yésica and she didn't even apologize when I told her all this! Terrible service!! ?????

Good: Office is quick to reply and easy to schedule a visit. Doctor seems knowledgeable.Bad: Cost. They will insist you pay for every procedure possible scaring you your dog may die otherwise without even trying to contemplate that not all people have unlimited pockets in Miami.

I had enrolled my three pets with Banfield for around two years. I was always going to the location in Coral Gables, Miami, FL because is the closest to me.I've been ok with the service because is convenient as they open during the weekends and I can get short-notice drop-off appointments. I took my ill cat recently and received a very bad welcome, inconsiderate treatment, and rudeness from the front desk women. My cat developed a condition that was not followed up there. They want you to pay upfront for test that might be unnecessary, and they will push you to pay it so that way your pet doesn't have to stay for more hours in a cage. The plan might have some advantages by covering some tests, treatments, and procedures but they will almost force you to use them ahead even if your pet doesn't need them and after that, you will have to keep paying for tests that are not covered by the plan.I asked several times to both women that they were not veterinarians to be able to suggest tests and that I wanted the Dr to give a physical exam to my pet and go from there. In the end, I will probably end up paying more with them than with a regular vet.I was also forced to sign a release to give fly and tick medication to my ill cat in case "they find them" on her. They mentioned not to worry because they wouldn't apply any treatment if they didn't find anything on her. I explained that she is been treated by an internist doctor for a condition that is still unknown and somebody can make a mistake and put in jeopardy my cat's health. I also added that it is an indoor cat and that I won't sign something that I won't honor.I refused to sign and they told me that they were not going to give my cat attention so I had to leave.I complained to "Banfield Cares" as I was told by an agent and they sent the Dr. Chief to call me and instead of making things better for me; she is defending her staff and putting in doubt my words. She mentioned using other locations or going back to this one and I WILL NEVER LEAVE MY PETS IN CHARGE OF PEOPLE LIKE THOSE TWO WOMEN.They are rude, and mean, and have no education or consideration for you or your pets. You Banfield are the worst. I rather pay regular prices and my three pets are going to be treated with respect, love, and dignity. About the customer service; forget about it. You have to wait for hours in order to talk to someone.

Horrible experience. Went in for an Office Visit and they delayed my visit 1hr+... I understand things happen but this will be the third time. This is unacceptable. Appointments are supposed to be punctual.

do not use them for a pet health certificatethese people are running a scam. i made an appointment for my pet 2 months in advance for health certificate. they advised me a couple days before my appointment that the country that i was traveling to requested a specific test that would take 6 weeks. making it impossible for me to travel with my pet. confused why they were telling me a few days before and not 2 months when i made the actual appointment they mention that specific location just started doing health certificates and that they didn't really know the requirements. why are you offering a service that you are unfamilar with? specially with such a sensitive subject such as traveling internationally with your pet. i found another lab that was certified to do this test that the turn around will be 5 days and when i call them to let them know they told me that they could not send the lab results to another company because they have a contract with kansas university lab. these people are unprofessional and they are scamming people. only looking to profit themselves and not in the best interest of the costumer/pet. i will be canceling my "wellness plan" and be moving my business to another vet.

The customer service could be terrible and make you waste time .Trying to call for an hour and when I get to the facility apparently they couldn't help me because I got there passed 6pm (when in the pass I've waiting instead the facility pass 6pm so they help me) .I was stuck in traffic for an hour+, if they would have answered and let me know I obviously wouldn't have gone. Unacceptable

Taking my cat to Banfield was smooth and uneventful. All the staff and vet techs I interacted with were super kind and helpful. Dr Pirasghari was efficient, knowledgeable, and easily addressed my concerns. Would recommend!

I've always taken my dog to this Banfield even when they were inside the PetSmart on Coral Way. Today my dog Daisy had an appt for routine vaccines. My husband drops her off and the front desk staff mentioned how there's two Daisys today, both "chihuahuas". Mind you, my Daisy is a Rat Terrier Mix. An hour later, my husband receives a call from the vet, Dr. Pirasghari, about how Daisy was dehydrated and they ran all these tests and she needs to take medication. My husband interrupted her asking, "what medication? My dog went in for vaccines". It wasn't until my husband tells her that there were two Daisys there today. At this point, she then says oh it's the wrong Daisy. They called the wrong family about the wrong dog. Not only is this neglectful but a huge liability. How do they not have identifiers to distinguish one dog from another. Much less that my Daisy is a different breed from the other Daisy. Daisy finally got her vaccines, the vet was unapologetic and indifferent on this huge mistake. If this were a human in a hospital, risk management would be involved and an incident report would have been made. From what we know, no harm was done to Daisy. However, we have lost complete trust of this Banfield location and recommend against anyone bringing their much loved pet here.

I came here Thursday with my puppy that I found abandoned in the streets and brought him here to get checked and everything was great. The receptionist lady was extremely kind, so was the doctor and generally everyone was great. You really felt these workers loved animals and wanted to help and care for them.I return today 4/17/23 because my puppy was experiencing vomit and diarrhea all morning and I do admit I got there 1 hour before closing but I didn’t have my car to drive her over immediately. The receptionist we had today was rude, passive aggressive, and could so desperately tell she wanted to go home. Kept telling me and my partner “were not an emergency room and we close in 1 hour” I’m pretty sure we got this comment from her over 2-3 times. We understand there was 1 hour till closing but it’s a dog hospital and a little kindness and compassion goes a long way. I made it clear the entire time I didn’t like her or the energy she was giving off (obviously not to her but to my partner). Everyone else was great and kind and so helpful. Thank you all so much but consider getting rid of the white girl with light eyes. Extremely obvious she doesn’t care for animals. One of the dogs in the waiting room peed on the floor because he’s a dog and he’s sick and she literally told the owners to clean his mess which I agree they should because it’s there dog but when she noticed they never cleaned the piss she looked at it and rolled her eyes. I’m sure your great, but you shouldn’t work in a animal hospital. Giving 2 stars because this whole review is about the receptionist. Doctors were great, the pregnat lady was extremely helpful (sorry I’m using physical appearance to describe everyone I hope to not offend anyone I just didn’t ask for anyone’s name). Long story short receptionist sucks and lacks simple empathy.
