I called about an emergency situation for my dog. They were very up-front over the phone and informed me that it would be best to take my pet to the emergency room, and even gave me the name and address of the best hospital. I appreciate their professionalism and guidance.

Absolutely love our vet. From the front office to the vet and the vet techs, we know that our dogs are in great hands whether we have to drop them off for a bath or come in for an appointment, there’s nothing but professional, respectful, and just so kind. I know that our dogs are in such great care not to mention our dogs absolutely love everybody in that office.

Called for the price of teeth cleaning. Lady on the phone was rude. Wanted to rush and hang up quickly. Didn’t want to describe price which many other vet offices gladly gave me there pricing. She wanted to charge me $69 for the first visit just to tell me a price. This is bad service

I’ve always taken my dogs to Dr. Thomas, she’s great! They always take great care of my dogs!

Dr. Thomas is wonderful. My family recently moved to the Miami area with our elderly dog and needed to find a veterinarian. Coral Gables Animal Hospital was highly recommended by my husband's colleague and I am glad that I took his advice.I was able to get an appointment relatively quickly. When I had problems getting my records transferred from our previous vet, Kylie who works in the office stepped in and got them. Dr. Thomas was warm and friendly and put my nervous dog at ease instantly. She was thorough and patient when going through his extensive medical history. She is meticulous and takes great care to explain everything in great detail. She even took the time to suggest local doctors for my husband and me. I had the opportunity to talk to Dr. Richter as well and he was equally pleasant and helpful.I can't say enough about Coral Gables Animal Hospital. Dr. Thomas, Dr. Richter, the vet techs and the front office staff all contributed to a great visit and we will definitely use them for all of our veterinary care.

I am very disappointed with this clinic. I took my puppy on Saturday for the 4 month rabies shot and after paying around $280, I left a bit shocked about the cost, the fact they do not let you go in with your dog, the fact they do NOT have a price list and that they do not offer prices prior to treatment. I am in the process of deworming my puppy but she stated with diarrhea on Sunday and on Monday she started vomiting as well. Suddenly I noticed blood in her stool, and I called them. They said to bring her in. They had her from 10am-5 pm. The cost was about $400. They did not know why she was sick other than a bacteria. They do not let you come in to speak with the Vet. Instead the Vet comes outside and in a rush speaks with you. I feel they are either too busy or just Do NOT care about their clients. If you cannot see the inside of the establishment and the Vet is too busy to sit down and speak with you, then you must go somewhere else. I will take her back today to see how much more money they need from me to tell me NOTHING and request my puppy's records and go somewhere else. I am extremely disappointed and I think animal clinics should be better regulated. I called to ask if the follow up cost was included in the $400 bill from the day before and they said know. Every visit has to be paid. So they put the doctor on and she said to make sure she ate and call her back. I did and told them she ate. I asked them to send me her records and I will be looking for a new Vet. It is sad that Vets take such advantage of animal lovers.

Fantastic veterinarian office. From the front desk staff to the owner/operator Dr. Richter you can tell straight away that these people know what they are doing and genuinely care about the health of your animal. They even take the time to sit down with you and have a discussion about your pet, explain what they are going to do, and answer questions. If you go here, you'll only find high quality, honest and passionate service.

Dr. Thomas and the staff are amazing! You can tell they really care about your pet, but they also treat the owners kindly and with respect. Great customer service/bedside manner was amazing to have! When it came to the medical side of things, Dr. Thomas always explained everything in a way that I could easily understand and she always made sure to get back to me when I'd left a message with reception that I had some questions for her.

I took my dog we found on the street in for a check up since he wasn't feeling good. We were charged $500 for a lot of tests. Doctor Richter said: "you have a sick dog". They couldn't find what was wrong and referred us to a neurologist that would have costed thousands of dollars. About one year later, my dog lost his three front teeth, and we never went to a neurologist. I called the office back to see if they could help since we just brought him in within the year. The office manager said: "after one year his teeth can fall out", and never offered anything to help. The office manager said to bring him in, but it will cost for the office visit. Save your time, and money, and go to "Pet Supermarket", they care more, and have vaccinations, rabies shots, tests, and most all you need for less than $30 total.

I had a good experience. I wish I could have gone in with my pet, but I understand the measures during the pandemic are not their fault. The people were very helpful, communicative, and kind!Ultimately, the expense of the visit was a bit much. I prefer when vets/doctors say “we are going to be doing this, is this okay?” “we are using these drops.” “Would you like to add the medical food? Would you like to add the probiotic?” Just be more open about the expense, Rather than assuming the patient wants these items that are really not needed apart from the prescription and exam. It just gives a patient more involvement and agency, and increases trust.Of course, I didn’t make a big deal out if this because I love my cat and felt emotional about her being sick. I think I should have spoken up about not wanting the extra items but they had already enough the bills and i felt guilty. This was my experience and feedback i would give them! I am going to return and try to be more communicative. My cat seemed to be happy and calm and well taken care of, but again, I didn’t get to be with her. The feedback I got was very detailed and easy to understand which I appreciated. The ladies I spoke with were again, very kind and helpful! I appreciate what they did to help my kitty.

My dog likes the people at this Clinic, and they do seem to know what they are doing. However, every single time I have gone, they have done tests or procedures without asking, ultimately charging more than what we were there for.

I took my puppy to Coral Gables Animal Hospital when she wasn't feeling well one morning. She had never been to a vet in the Miami area, and neither had I. What should've been a routine puppy vet visit turned into much more, however Coral Gables Animal Hospital was so helpful and informative of everything that was going on. They worked her into their schedule last minute. They walked me through her vaccination schedule, and treatment plan in a very detailed manner. It was so reassuring for me as a new dog owner, especially with my puppy not feeling well. Responsive, great quality, knowledgable, & highly recommend!

I’ve been a client for the past two years and have nothing but nice things to say. Every experience has been great. The doctors and staff are very friendly and are always there for me when it comes to taking the best care of my fur baby! I highly recommend them to family and friends.
