We have had the most expensive Friends and Family memberships at Fairchild Tropical Botanic Gardens for years, and we have been visiting the gardens for decades because we live in town. But they have been under new management, and hours of operation, prices, perks for members have all made membership a bad deal. I will no longer extend my membership. I can see Epic, the new management company couldn't care less as attempted to attract new membership with free tickets to their night Christmas program. Prices for any extra programs have always been steep and members pay the same as everyone else, but they didn't offer any such perk for renewing membership. As a matter of fact, they had the little perks we did have. There was a way members could visit the park before official opening hours. Not anymore. There is only one day members can go early, and it isn't a weekend, it's a Tuesday. They used to be open longer hours, now they are open only between 10-4, the hottest times of the day in Florida in any season. It's no longer valuable to have a membership. I'm dropping ours.

Went to the holiday light show for winter 2024. Was disappointed at the minimal effort made for this show. We have been to botanical shows in other cities that put this one to shame. The gardens seemed beautiful, and very little of it was used for the show. I wouldn't recommend this light show, sorry.

Went to the Garden during the Night at the Garden event and it was magical! The way they transform the already beautiful gardens to an other world experience at night with lights is something not to miss out.

Beautiful gardens! Definitely recommend taking the tram ride to get the overview and history. Learned so much from the very knowledgeable driver.

This is, without a doubt, one of the most beautiful botanical gardens I've ever visited. The grounds are vast--you could easily spend over four hours exploring. Each section feels like a journey to a different part of the world, with unique gardens that offer their own charm. The rainforest exhibit was breathtaking, and the butterfly conservatory felt truly magical. I highly recommend visiting; it's filled with history and culture at every turn. Money well spent, they offer more discounts there than online.

One of my favorite places to explore in South Florida. I've been a member here for several years and I never get tired of coming to explore. They have great events throughout the year for both adults and children. My favorites are the early morning bird walks and the dog strolls. On the bird walks there is a great group of birders who will help you to identify and appreciate all the amazing avian friends you will see. Great exercise and conversations all around. The dog strolls give you a chance to let your four legged friends explore the gardens. There are endless opportunities for sniffs and friendly interactions with other pups. Finally they also have classes they offer for a wide variety of activities. Photography and painting classes are the only ones I've done so far but I look forward to attending more this year! If you haven't been here yet, what are you waiting for?

Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden is a stunning 83-acre paradise that perfectly balances natural beauty with thoughtful design. The winding paths take you through diverse collections of tropical plants, from rare palms to vibrant orchids and flowering trees. The butterfly garden is enchanting, and the rainforest area feels like stepping into another world. The lake views are particularly peaceful, with the water lilies and surrounding vegetation creating picture-perfect scenes at every turn. What sets Fairchild apart is that it's more than just a garden - it's a living museum and educational center. Their classes and workshops are excellent, whether you're interested in photography, gardening, or art. The staff is knowledgeable and clearly passionate about conservation. The cafe offers a lovely spot to relax with fresh food and drinks while overlooking the gardens. Perfect for a light lunch or afternoon refreshment. Tips: Go early morning or late afternoon for the best light and cooler temperatures Don't miss the butterfly release if you can time your visit right Bring a camera - photo opportunities are endless Allow at least 2-3 hours to properly explore This is truly one of Miami's gems - worth every penny of admission for a day of tranquility in expertly maintained tropical grounds.

There is a reason this paradise has been named the Best Botanical Garden in the USA - this gem is a real work of art, lovely walking paths, sweets shady spots for resting, and wonderful events. We loved being members and went most weekends, enjoying the calm serenity and taking part in the safe and fun family festivals. LOVED their Dragons exhibit - super magical and well integrated. Of course, the crown jewel is the Butterflies exhibit - walking through tropical shangri-la with butterflies the size of your face flittering about. Beautiful place to bring a picnic or enjoy their cafe, soak in the great beautiful outdoors. The kids play area is a lovely natural climbing spot; wish there was a bit more for the tinies like the 0-2 crowd to enjoy!

Dinosaur Garden in Coral Gables: An Unforgettable Prehistoric Adventure
The Dinosaur Garden in Coral Gables is a destination that you cannot miss if you are in the area. Although the admission price may be a little high, it is worth every penny for the unique experience it offers.
A Beautiful and Cozy Environment
From the moment you enter, you feel transported to a prehistoric world. The garden is carefully designed, with paths surrounded by lush vegetation and life-size dinosaur sculptures that fascinate both children and adults. The views are simply spectacular, offering a peaceful and beautiful environment to enjoy with the family.
Fun for the Whole Family
My son had an incredible time exploring every corner of the garden. The dinosaur sculptures are impressive and realistic, making the experience even more exciting for little ones. Plus, there are interactive and educational activities that keep kids entertained and learning at the same time.
Conclusion
The Dinosaur Garden in Coral Gables is a hidden gem that offers an unforgettable experience for the whole family. Although the entrance price is high, the views and quality of the experience completely justify it. If you are looking for a place where your children can enjoy and learn at the same time, this garden is the perfect choice.

Great place, didn’t like how the older lady with the glasses was near me and my mom following us around when looking at the items like we were going to steal. I didn’t say anything because I didn’t want to ruin the experience for my mom but the staff should learn to use their mouth and ask the customer for help.
