Probably the best botanical garden in South Florida. It’s beautiful, peaceful and the enormous. They always have events or exhibitions going on. Around Christmas and new year it’s the “light garden” which starts when it gets dark.

Beautiful place to spend all day! There are plenty of things to do. You can eat there, bring your own or buy in there. The butterfly garden, botanical garden, and the rain forest are a must to be seen. All the beautiful sculptures made a wonderful frame to fantastic pictures. Starting now in November, the Xmas lights are a night show that it's a wonderful experience to do with your partner or family. Expect long walks while enjoying the natural outdoor beauty of this place.

Visiting The Fairchild Botanical Gardens over the weekend was a truly enchanting experience! Having attended the orchid festival there for the past two years, I can confidently say that it just keeps getting better.Firstly, the orchid vendors at the festival are not only knowledgeable but also incredibly friendly. They're more than happy to share their expertise and offer advice on orchid care. What's truly remarkable is how reasonably priced these stunning orchids are, making it easy for enthusiasts and beginners alike to start or expand their orchid collections.Taking the orchid tour was a highlight of my visit. Learning about the diverse world of orchids and the Million Orchid Project was both educational and inspiring. The guide was passionate and shared fascinating insights into the countless orchid varieties and the important conservation efforts being undertaken.Walking through the lush and meticulously maintained gardens, I was surrounded by a breathtaking display of orchids in various shapes and colors. It's clear that The Fairchild Botanical Gardens is not only a place of beauty but also a hub of botanical knowledge and conservation. The combination of a vibrant and diverse orchid festival, friendly vendors, informative tours, and the vital mission of the Million Orchid Project makes The Fairchild Botanical Gardens an absolute must-visit. It's a magical place where you can immerse yourself in the world of orchids and contribute to their preservation. I can't wait to return for many more memorable visits in the future!

Amazing piece of paradise in Miami, beautiful landscapes, with open gardens and a wide variety of flora, you can spend a good 4 to 6 hours here without any waste of time. They have minicart guided tours, but you can choose to walk, there's hydration points but it's hot nowadays, so bring enough water with you. There's a Dragon exposition of huge animatronics right now, and let me tell you, the quality is another level.Highly recommended by@

WOW!!!!! Absolutely beautiful garden! We went for the dragon display and I can't say enough good things about it! They have misters that make it look like an enchanted forest. You walk along the path which is paved and see all the beautiful flowers, orchids and trees. The grounds are impeccable and the staff was very nice. There are benches everywhere and ponds and a stream. There's even a little waterfall. I recommend this place for those of you who love nature and serenity. Their gift shop is full of wonderful things from organic teas to beautiful journals. There was a shaved ice truck and a taco truck too. DELICIOUS!! If you are going, wear your walking shoes and a parasol or hat during the day. Absolutely beautiful place!

Fairchild Garden is such a great spot if you're visiting Miami or even as a local! It's absolutely beautiful, the gardens, landscape and animals are magnificent. Walking through this place you forget you are in Miami and are able to connect with the nature you don't get to experience much in this big city. I recently attended the Mango Festival for the first time and it was extremely hot but a great experience. We enjoyed mango smoothies, samples and shopping! It was extremely hot so if you visit make sure to pack a hat & SPF. My favorite part was visiting the butterfly garden area, they did a butterfly release and a butterfly landed on my leg! It was such a cool experience I will never forget!

Pro tip! If you've never been, you should download the app to save on tickets! This was my first time and as an herbalist, naturalist, & crazy plant lady, I was in heaven! I decided to spend my birthday in nature admiring the foliage and wildlife. It was fun testing my own knowledge and teaching my nephew the names of the plants. We went during the Dragons & Mythical Creatures Event! It was a pretty cool interactive event that was just an extra $10 which I'm sure was really for the water blasters the map and stickers. There was really no point in shooting the eggs and dragons with the blasters but they had the little QR codes to scan and it'll pull up a cute narration for each dragon on your phone. He enjoyed that part. The blasters helped to keep us cool as well. I never did find the other fill up stations just the one booth. At the end of we went back to the booth to get our stickers so that we could collect our brand new blasters to take home! Everyone at the park was super helpful and added to our experience. Well except that one young man who was working the event booth when we went back for our stickers. He had dark hair maybe early twenties. I wish I had gotten his name. He was pretty rude. Didn't look up from his phone. Wasn't much help. He made me appreciate the other workers so much more. They were all enthusiastic and knowledgeable and made me want to come back. Especially Rebecca at the front desk. She was so helpful when we first arrived and on our way out as we shopped for souvenirs. They have a little cafe with a small menu but good options like the mango smoothies and strawberry popsicles that I bought. They also had a type of panini on the menu and a mango muffin which I plan on getting when I return. The park ended up shutting down a little early because of the thunder and lightning but we were already on our way out. So make sure you plan around the weather. The ride to the front was a nice way to end our adventure. I thoroughly enjoyed myself and will be back! I want one of those mood shirts that changes color! Last thoughts.... There was a lot of free parking right up front too. They allow you to take water inside. I definitely recommend that. You can also buy some of their plants on the app. Which also helps support the garden. It's amazing and I can't wait to go back. I felt like I was on the planet Pandora lol! Thanks to all the staff that made our visit and my birthday one to remember.

Saw an IG advertisement about their Mango Festival and I had to jump on it fast. It was my first time visiting this botanical garden and let me just say even the drive getting to here is so scenic and serene. I wasn't sure what to expect as far as parking but I appreciated the shuttles provided for the festival. It was an extremely hot day but there were plenty of spots to get some shade in. I got the mango cocktail flight but only really enjoyed the Mango Sangria. There was also moving dinosaurs as part of their exhibit and kids there were loving it. Definitely a great spot to bring the family but make sure to wear your SPF! I would love to go back to take a tour of their Butterfly Garden.

Fairchild Botanic Garden is a beautiful and serene place. There are so many trees and plants—flowers and streams and lakes are so diverse and beautiful. It’s a must see, for places like this show us the graceful exuberance of nature and leave one in awe. I hope this park lasts and future generations can see and experience this gem. The butterfly exhibit is also gorgeous and there are events constantly.
