They have an impressive selection of wines, including high end wines...all reasonably priced. Also, great location... right off US 1 and right in Coral Gables and excellent customer service that you only get at businesses that are run by the owner!

Very overpriced and VERY rude service. Save your money and get better service anywhere else. I haven’t seen such horrible customer service anywhere. Whoever answers the phones (owner or not) should be fired.

Had a less than perfect experience there. I happen to be a wine collector and thought I found a local shop to purchase some " cult " type wines. I spoke to two elderly gentlemen that seemed nice and they found a lower end wine from the group I was looking for; it happens to be a great bottle regardless. They were unable to find pricing. I can see that. Based on them not knowing a few major high end producers I get that some bottles probably don't cycle frequently there, no big deal. They scramble to figure it out. Here's the kicker... 5 minutes later they hand the task to a young man working there that couldn't even pronounce the name of the vineyard and he decides to use " Vivino " as his pricing source. Not only is this a poor source for information as he could be digging into the stores profits by not using some logic and calculating their actual cost, adding on their profit margin needed as a shop and then providing a client a price. He left it at looking at the " average " pricing. WS Pro Low has everything from 219 to 525, Vivino has a similar range. Mind you, ONE bottle is above 500 driving the average up. This is basic arithmetic but when you let someone that neither has knowledge nor interest in the exercise handed to them you end up with this poor result.Naturally after seeing reputable distributors like Benchmark etc offer this bottle at 240ish rather than an averaged out 350 I attempt to discuss it with him but get attitude. This young man actually asked me:Store: " Are those distributors open ? "Me: " yes... they're large national distributors "Store: " then buy this there "I don't know the people that own Gulf Liquors but I would wager that they wouldn't want a relatively decent wine collector to be pushed to national chains mainly because their team, after scrambling for 5-10 minutes couldn't figure out basic pricing on their own inventory basically get told to go to hell. I purchased the smaller items I had on the counter and went and made a considerable purchase directly next door at Crown. To Management:It's not the end of the world to tell a customer " I don't know, can I have your number " and get back to us with something logical. I am part of a larger than 3K national wine group with an obscene purchasing power when everyone is factored in and we are always trying to make local connections as we too work locally. Please, do your homework. Don't pawn off decisions like pricing on high end wine to an employee that himself stated he not only doesn't like wine but has no clue what he's looking at.I'm giving you three stars as you're local to me. I will pass back by randomly one day for a similar purchase and hope this was an anomaly so when I edit this, I edit it in your favor and can happily report I've found a local that has decent inventory which I can purchase Grand Cru's, Cult wines and the like locally. Please share with the older gentleman the Chablis he wasn't familiar:Domaine Raveneau <
