I went to Lifetime today to sign up as a member. My friend asked the front desk for a tour the lady said she couldn’t do any until later in the week. My friend said we are ready to sign up today if we do a tour. Her response was “It doesn’t matter I don’t get paid commissions for new members.” Her attitude and arrogance sucked. I automatically left and said forget this place.

Worst customer experience ever. The guy in the 3rd floor by the Chiropractic office is so rude. He went to stop my treatment with Normatec session, because another member came with appointment and couldn't wait more than 2 min. So he went ahead and stopped the machine and told me to get out. You don't do that to a paying member literally paying your salary. He should get fired immediately.

I love this gym. Maybe it's not as big as the other lifetimes around the country, but it's spacious for an urban area such as Coral Gables. Love that I can drop off my kid and he will be well taken care of. The membership tag is comparable to any "above average" gym in Coral Gables or Coconut grove (like equinox or any bootcamp gyms with a tag of at least $200/mo plus sign up fees) but Lifetime offers so much more. The staff is great and the facility is maintained well. I see though how equipment share can be an issue during peak hours, however, I stick to group classes.

My family and I have been apart of lifetime fitness for 15 years. We currently go to a different location but we went to explore the location at the falls since we were super curious. The floor plan is very different than the signature lifetime fitnesses that we’ve seen throughout the US however, this one is definitely worth the money if you want a gym/resort experience! , you have a plethora of amenities in which not only can you work out in but you can also utilize their work lounges if you work remote and or spend the entire day using their cold plunge, sauna, Hydromassage machines and more! This location has a lot more machines due to the space, and twice the amount of hydromassage chairs than my original gym.The only two things I would love to give feedback on are: 1. if they can somehow offer to order food and get it delivered while you’re sitting outside in their pool lounge, that would be amazing and it would definitely elevate the experience, and 2. as we were trying to sign up for a class, it was near to impossible. They were 15 people on a waitlist for one Zumba class or one Barre class which I find outstanding and unrealistic so if they can either put more classes back to back or figure that out, I feel like this would improve the overall experience to the next level!

They hold classes using most of the weight racks during busy times creating absolute chaos for everyone else. There’s already not enough equipment during peak times for everyone so this is a real problem. These classes could be held elsewhere because they don’t even use the weight racks for classes. Find another gym if you plan to go between 6-8am or 6-8pm.

I wouldn’t call this gym luxurious by any means. Parking is abysmal and the staff are plenty rude. Had a displeasure of meeting a staff member in the elevator that yelled at me to press the number HE was getting off at. Super rude and uncalled for. I was surprised at how tiny this space is compared to the Lifetime in Aventura. The spa area is also pretty unsanitary.

It’s a nice gym, the price is totally because of the extra amenities. The only thing I didn’t like is that I asked someone in the front desk if I could use a studio as long as there was no class and he told me no even though the site says “Studio usage outside of organized classes is permitted. All equipment must be wiped down and properly stored after use. ” he basically told me I CANNOT use it & it’s for classes ONLY. So you pay like $200 a month but can’t even use a studio room while normal commercial gyms have studios that you can use and it’s $50-$60 a month. As someone that’s working herself to not have social anxiety seems kinda crazy to me that you pay extra to not get the access of what an actual normal commercial gym like onelife, golds etc.

Great facility overall. Compared to other Lifetime:Pros: cleanness, awesome Life Cafe experience, well trained staff, working as a teamCons: a smaller gym facility, there were 2 people in line to use bench press, for ex.There are no recliners in the jacuzzi area.No 'co-ed' Jacuzzi

Love the gym from a gym floor and fitness class perspective especially the heated yoga flow class, the pool is nice as well. The only part I dislike are the locker rooms, the actual lockers look outdated the color is terrible (personal aesthetic preference), not a lot of mirrors if your looking to get ready for work and the towels are rough… overall this doesn’t take away from the fitness aspect but just seems out of place comparing to the rest of the gym which is very nice

The facilities are overall excellent, but there's a couple of crucial flaws that hurts it and makes me rate it net negative. The first is that the design of the locker room and bathrooms makes no sense. There is a hallway from the locker room that leads to the jacuzzi, steam, and sauna rooms. You have to pass that to get to the bathroom, showers, and sinks. The result is you have a ton of people coming and leaving the jacuzzi and shower areas dripping water, and people with shoes stepping all over it in the same hallway. As a result the ground here is almost constantly dirty with visible mud, and I'm no germaphobe. The staff not only doesn't seem to care that much about it but actively disregard it. I just witnessed one staff member take 4 visitors on a tour inside the closed in jacuzzi area with their shoes on, leaving footprints and dirt everywhere. One guy even took a step into the steam room. The gym isn't the best but it's definitely above average. Got everything you could realistically need. Cafe is pricey but decent, staff is generally polite enough, but not on top of basic considerations like what I just mentioned. It's worth it if you live/work here but that's about it I'd say.

The parking was great just remember to get it validated if you're a guest :)I loved the little restaurant/market downstairs Grazianos, it was such a great idea to put it right there. If you ever need a snack you can simply come downstairs.I love how Lifetime is truly in the best location it could be. You have access to so many different things and people I hope it stays that way.

What an amazing way to start our vacation! At first we were disappointed with a long layover in Miami but then, as Lifetime members, we thought maybe we could see a local gym. Wow! Little did we know what was in store for us as the Lyft driver dropped us off a mere 25 minutes away at the Coral Gables Lifetime! The luxury started with the valet parking, then the guest concierge gave us shirts when we mentioned we didn't pack appropriately. Then, Jerry and Marc prepared a delicious custom burger for me and a custom shake for my husband. Then, Jerry took us on a tour. We got hot tea from the spa, stored our luggage in the locker room, headed to the recovery room where Jerry helped us book hydromassages and a leg therapy I wish I had at home. We continued to the studios where Maka showed us the new technologies that help make the group fitness even more fun.We toured around the fitness floor and even got the endorsement from members who were there already. We changed, worked out, recovered in the steam, whirlpool massage... ate again, had another hydromassage and more. That one day fell like a whole vacation! The only thing we didn't get to do was swim in the rooftop pool because of the thunderstorms ?. That just gives us another reason to come back!! This experience almost made my husband and me move to Miami!!!Either way, we'll be back. If you live close by and aren't a member yet, I would highly recommend going to check it out. Schedule a visit, get to know the place and it's people and I'm sure you'll enjoy it!

When this place first open they had lots of evening classes to chose from. Now if you have one class per evening that is not on the gym floor you are lucky. That’s pretty steep for a $249 membership. The classes they do have over lap in time. The yoga classes are pretty good but they started over lapping those with the few classes they do have on the schedule. With less classes, the classes are more crammed as well. It’s right across the street from my house so very convenient, but I am considering going somewhere I would have to drive to for more instructor led options. The instructors who are there are good.

I was going to the spa almost every day and while the facilities were nice, I was disappointed to see that many people were not removing their shoes before entering the steam room . This resulted in a lot of dirt and germs on the floors, which detracted from the overall cleanliness of the spa. I would suggest that the staff post a reminder for guests to remove their shoes upon entering to maintain a more sanitary environment.I also noticed that the shelves where the towels were kept were quite dirty. While the towels themselves were clean, the shelves were not, which made me concerned about the overall cleanliness of the spa. I would suggest that the staff pay closer attention to cleaning the shelves ands service on a regular basis to ensure a more sanitary environment for guests.
