My car battery died in the same parking lot of AZ. I got it out and I walked to your store to get a new one. I looked online for the best price and AZ had a Gold series battery for $209 plus fees and taxes and Advance Auto Parts had their gold series battery for $219 plus fees and taxes, however if I was buying their battery online and picking up at the store they had a coupon for 15% off. When I walked into AZ I asked the young Autozoner if they could do a price match with advance auto parts and that’s when everything went sideways. Valeria came out from the back obviously very annoyed because I asked to speak to a manager (forgot to mention that at that time there was absolutely no one else inside the store as far as customers). She asked what was the problem to what I replied that there was no problem but I just wanted to se if they were willing to either price match Advance Autoparts or at least lower their price. They went online right there in front of me and saw that what I was saying it was true, to what she immediately reply with a NO, she said that they didn’t price match online orders from competitors. The thing that got me the most is the fact that she keep saying to me “You don’t understand”, “ Yea NO, you don’t understand”. And finally she just turned around and walked away……..!
At Advance Autoparts you can buy online and pick up at store or buy directly at store and when ask for customer service you get it right there and then. Is very sad to say that the only reason why I bought the battery from your store was far from a good environment and far from a good customer service experience, it was simply because Advance Autoparts was too far for me to walk with a battery at 2:00 PM in the afternoon. Autozone’s has changed their customer service since it was always “Autotozone Always Put Customers First, We Know Our Parts And Products…….”. Sad to say today will be the last time that I put a foot in one of your stores.

Came here in a pickle and was fortunate to find Carl, had a part stuck and he helped me beat it off... Seriously though, people like him are the reason these places get extra business, I came looking for a part for a stuck part and he did the extra to make sure the stuck part came out and new socket fit and shared his experience in this repair which made me feel good leaving here. I will keep coming here for experiences like this. Thanks Carl.

clean store, great costumer service i have no idea how cars work but i told drake what was wrong with my vehicle and he went straight to work and told me what was wrong. real life saver

Everyone is so helpful at that store and they’re always busy working. I like how clean it is and well organized. That means a lot to me and that’s why I go to that store more often than any other store.

Vinny really helped out picking out the right wiper blades for my Mazda 6 when i grabbed the wrong one. He even helped put them on my car! Along side a friendly staff, I would come back if I find any issue with my car.

They don’t have wiper blades for my car in stock. They told me if I order them online and come back, they would install them. I called before heading there and they told me it would be fine. I drive all the way to the location for them to change their story. They have no empathy or care to provide customer service and unwilling to help or KEEP their word.

Shameful experience of discriminating treatment at the Turtle Creek Store in the Target Shopping Center. Idk if it’s a common occurrence. I bought a windshield wiper 3-4 weeks ago and while driving it snapped/ broke off. Ok no problem, so I brought it back on ironically MLK day at the same store as I live in community. A customer service rep at cashier name tag said Carlos asked if he can help and I said yes. I literally just advised the short version of “ hi, I need to exchange this wiper I bought recently because it broke off while in use”. He took the wiper and looked me up and down. Then he went over ( without saying excuse me) to another cashier rep non supervisor and said something for 10 seconds and came back with no questions asked but then he said “we” can’t exchange it so leave. “ I was floored / shocked and asked why. He would provide no explanation except I asked my colleague to confirm we can’t take back . He didn’t ask for receipt which would have confirmed it was within exchange period, or no other questions. I knew his motives were discriminatory and would not accept it. I insisted I would not leave without a legal explanation as to why as I have written receipt policy. Even if it was 6 months ago, for a multi billion org should stand by their products and provide high level customer exceptions especially for a $30 -$40 product. That’s when he got nervous and realized I was and educated adult and not a low class x%$&@ and would not let him bully me in a vacuum. he said manager was not in store and went to back of store and came back with a customer service support supervisor representative who took more time to review product and realize it was their brand. He saw I was upset for the treatment I was getting and immediately went to get replacement and proceeded to replace and exchange. I offered to give him receipt to prove I’m not some bum who found wiper on street corner looking to do a scam which was only other explanation. Funny thing was I didn’t ask for a refund, I just wanted a working version of a product I paid for in exchange. I got no apologies from Carlos but I provided my feedback to store supervisor in front of Carlos. All I got was excuses to try and insult my intelligence from Carlos. The supervisor eventually realized it was a legit exchange within policy and resolved matter. Carlos could have easily avoided escalating if he treated me with the basic respect of all customers by asking for receipt and proof of purchase and he would a got it. Instead he treated me like a thief. I am very disappointed about the treatment and surprised of the customer service quality from a reputable organization. Especially As long as Carlos is in that store please protect yourself especially if you are a minority/woman.

Carl- the store manager saved the day! He assessed the situation and was able to replace my battery in no time! Would highly recommend Carl and his store not only for his kindness but as well as his professionalism and work ethic!

I had the pleasure of working with Damaine at AutoZone, and I have to say he was outstanding. From the moment I walked in, he greeted me with a friendly smile and immediately offered to assist. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the products I needed and went above and beyond to make sure I got the right parts for my vehicle. He took the time to explain everything in detail, answering all my questions with patience and expertise.
What really stood out was his willingness to help, even when things got busy. He kept a positive attitude and made sure every customer was attended to with the same level of care. It’s clear that Damaine truly knows his stuff and is dedicated to providing excellent service. Highly recommend them for anyone needing help with auto parts or advice!
