The slowest service bank in the world

Just been there and it was a terrible experience. As a businessowner I was descriminated by the staff who refused to open an account to temporary residents stating that was a Bank policy, but on Bank of America website there is no such policies for opening business accounts.

I don't blame the staff but the executive decision to close down every other bank of America in general area has caused mass amounts of people crowding. Now just to do a simple in person deposit takes an hour unless you can use atm. These measures they've taken are the opposite of safe which leads me to believe the other buildings are closed as a way to save money at the customer's expense.

Wait times are terrible. Many customers waiting while empty desk with no employees. People are looking for jobs. Time to hire help! Thinking of switching banks. Every Bank of America now is the same wait times.

We usually do NOT write bad reviews. However, something must be done to hopefully correct the customer service issues at this branch. We usually bank at the Wiles Street branch, where we are treated with appreciation, courtesy and respect. Unfortunately, our Wiles branch has experienced closures due to COVID-19 and we have been forced to go to the next closest branch, which is at 3200 N University Drive. We have consistently run into customer service issues at this branch, but dismissed the lapses in service by chalking them up to stress and overwork on part of the staff. However, today's experience has prompted that we say something. My husband went in for a transaction, for which he had not had any issues at the Wiles Street branch. The teller (who knows my husband from the Wiles branch) advised him that she could not assist him with this particular transaction because this was a different branch with different managers and different protocols, and that he would have to speak with the manager. After waiting for over 25 minutes for the manager, my husband inquired about the wait and was advised that the manager was "at lunch" and would be another 30 minutes. Bad, bad, bad customer service. Sadly, from reading other reviews, we are not the only ones experiencing the lack of concern with which this branch treats its customers. This disregard for customers' time and efforts reflects very badly on this branch and this manager. We understand that management may not be comfortable allowing a teller to authorize a transaction simply because they know us from another branch. We also understand that we are not a regular customer at this branch. However, by now management should anticipate that there are customers from other branches who are forced to bank at this branch due to branch closings, and made arrangements to avoid these lapses in customer service.

Even with the virus putting all of us in different way of life the wait was not long. And everyone was very friendly and helpful.

This bank is gonna be a Covid HOTSPOT!!! They are winding 7-10 customers into a stairwell area, the area is only about 7'x15' and they have people standing six feet apart in the line, meaning the person in front of you is 6 feet away. But the person standing next to you is only about 4 feet away. The area is enclosed and there is little to no ventilation. Once inside the bank you wind through the barriers to reach the tellers. When you follow the line, it will turn 90* then another 90* you are standing within 3 feet of another bank customer... They have 2 security guards doing what I'm not sure.. Time for a new bank!
