Goodwill Industries of South Florida is a nonprofit organization that provides employment opportunities for people with disabilities. With over 2,600 employees, it is one of the largest employers in Miami-Dade County. The organization operates a network of thrift stores where customers can find a wide variety of donated household goods, clothing, and furniture at affordable prices. While some customers have expressed concerns about the pricing being higher than other thrift stores, the stores are generally well-organized and offer a diverse selection of items. The donation collection centers are efficient and staffed by friendly employees. Customers have reported finding unique and valuable items, such as designer shoes, at discounted prices. The stores can be quite busy, with many customers browsing the ample selection. Customers are advised to bring their own bags, as the stores do not provide free bags for purchases.
Behind the store where I drop off donations is always a huge mess with tons of stuff on the sidewalk and debris in the roadway. Just dropped off donations and drove away with a flat tire. That was the last time I will drop off at this location.
