I'm very disappointed with the service I've received from JCPenney regarding the outdoor photoshoot I booked eight days ago. Despite the promised digital photos, I have not received them, and the lack of communication from the employees has been frustrating. The employee called Tamia promised me to get back to me and she never did. Then I have attempted to contact them multiple times, but my calls have gone unanswered. This level of service is not what I expected, and it has greatly impacted my experience. I would like to request immediate resolution in the form of receiving the digital photos without further delay, as this was the service I paid for and expected to receive in a timely manner.

We used a Groupon deal for our photography session. It was straight forward to set up an appointment on the JCPenney Portraits website. They called us one day before our session to confirm our appointment and reminded us to be on time, which was nice. We arrived five minutes before our appointment time to check in. We chose our studio backgrounds at this time. The wait time until the photographer was ready to take pictures with us was less than 10 minutes, which was reasonable.Our photographer Dennis is a lovely professional. He was exceptional in guiding us throughout the session. He was fantastic at getting our toddler's attention the whole time. Our photos all turned out to be beautiful. We highly recommend Dennis's work.When it was time for us to select pictures, the sales staff explained to us about some upgraded packages, but they were not pushy about them, which we appreciated. The whole process from check-in to photo taking to picture selection to payment was very smooth and without issue. We enjoyed our experience at this location and would recommend others to come here for an affordable portrait experience.

Please save yourself the time and not go here. On December 14th at 4pm, We booked to take pictures not only were we rushed to take the pictures but they lost our photos. After our sessions they asked for us to give them10 minutes to located the drive that they “apparently lost” and we told them okay we will give them 10 minutes after 10 minutes it turned until an 15 min.. They then said oh they found the pictures but need to edited the photo.. right right and we are now 25 minutes in and we had something else to do when the 15 turned into 25 minutes we asked can we come back the next day to pick out the pictures we liked of course they agreed.. My friend went today at December 15th around 11 am comes to find out our pictures are lost!please save your money time energy and outfits and not go here ..

I have been coming here since my first kid was born 4 years ago. As anyone with small kids/ babies know- the kids don’t have a very long attention span so this 15 min photo session for the holidays worked for us. Pictures weren’t always great but we only needed one or two. Short session, digital same day options, inexpensive compared to mini sessions with IG photographers and other studios. In the 4 years I’ve been coming here— I’ve never been late, I show up and they are “running behind”. Not ideal but I always managed the kids so that if there were delays everyone would still be in a decent mood. That meant packing snacks, staying a long period of time in toy isles and one year, the purchase of a toy just to keep the mood up instead of a meltdown for the pictures. I NEVER complained or made a fuss. the shortest I’ve waited is 30 min. The longest 1.5 hrs - then I got a call telling me we had to cancel because the store had to close and they couldn’t fit us in. I rescheduled for the following week and showed up 3 min past their cutoff of a 15 min “grace period” I was blatantly told “ the system cancelled your appointment you need to reschedule.. no leniency. No accommodation. No understanding. Just a cold. “Sorry but YOU’RE late” this is true. We were. A 2 year old and an almost 4 yr old getting dressed again for pictures we tried to take a week before. And due to THEIR poor time management - cancelled my appointment with no compensation. AFTER we WAITED on them for over an hour! They couldn’t wait 3 min… for us. JCP portraits will NEVER see a penny from my family again.

We had a troublesome experience at this JCPenney Portrait Studio. We booked a 7:00 pm appointment for my family and dog, arriving at 6:50. The young lady checked us in and informed us that there were 2 people ahead. Returning at 7:15, we were told there were still 2 people ahead and that sessions are 15 minutes long. We waited until 7:45 when another young lady said there were now 4 people ahead. We didn't receive a call indicating they were ready for us until 8:20 for our 7:00 pm appointment. We ended up leaving without taking the photos. They completely wasted our time at this JCPenney Portrait Studio.

Tamia is my baby’s photographer! She is an amazing photographer ! She is always able to get the best pictures of my infant now 15 month old baby which is so difficult even for the best photographers! I NEVER LEAVE DISAPPOINTED! My baby absolutely LOVES her too! We are SO LUCKY we stumbled upon Tamia. She’s my girl and we look forward to seeing her every few months! I can’t thank her enough for giving incredible photos and memories of my daughter. Having a good photographer for your baby is SO IMPORTANT!

Stop by to to get our pictures taken before the ball. Zariah, made sure the whole process was smooth, and listened to all of our request. She was very patient, professional, and had a good eye for attention to detail. I would definitely come back again just like we’ve been coming every year!

The camera women zariyah was beyond phenomenal, she was very accommodating especially with my daughter and took our photos just how we wanted them. Next time we take photos we want to come here and ask for her again.

Horrible service and total disregard for customer time. Why offer curbside if you can't accommodate? I waited for 30 min before having to go in and line up for more than 20 min to pick up an order! JCPenney is no longer what it used to be. I'll shop at Macy's instead.

We made an appointment for the portrait department for 11:30am on a Sunday, however they tell us to show up at 11:15. So we show up with our 3 young kids (harder to do than you think) at 11:05. We are waiting and waiting. Then it's 12:15 and still not out turn. This is some of the most mismanaged setup I've ever seen in my life. I will never go back again. Very disappointed and a total waste of time.

Zariyah was amazing! She was professional, friendly and most of all flexible! This is what stood out the most for me. My pictures were on fire and I Love that she knew what she was doing! Me and my daughter had a mum:daughter session first of all we had an app we were the last person they attended to the experience was horrible the guy was rushing us the girl was unprofessional very rude both of them I wished I never went there what a waste of money never ever would go there!!!! The worst

tamia helped us today and was so lovely to accommodate me and my siblings! i originally booked for two people but was unable to get a babysitter so my baby brother was also present. we started before my scheduled appointment at 2:30 and got out of there before 3

Don't waste your time and energy like I did. I made an appointment for 12pm on Sunday. Walked in on time for my appointment. It was packed so I took my 11mth to bathroom to change her diaper. When I came back the lady was still helping a family at the computer. There was people inside still taken their photos and people outside waiting. About 15mins later she finished helping the family at the computer and came to me to tell me that I would need to reschedule or wait for someone to cancel. What was the point in making an apoointment? She told me they only had one photographer which is not my fault. My only option was to wait all day for someone to cancel with an infant and a toddler. Ridiculous!! I wasted my time and gas to drive there for them to tell me they cant take me. This was suppose to be my daughters 1st year photos.
