My 25-year old Sligh grandfather had quit running continuously. Upon looking for a reliable repair venue, I discovered they are few and far between. I got lucky when I reached out to Bill at Kew Gardens Jewelers! He not only agreed to come to my house but he showed up as promised. That is amazing nowadays. Bill explained the process and provided an estimate. He took the movement with him and followed through. Not only did he keep his promise, the actual cost was less than the estimated cost. Another shocker. I really had missed the sound of the clock so I am thrilled to have it working properly again. I would definitely recommend Bill and his knowledge and skill to anyone. My 40 year old Ridgeway Grandfathers' Clock is my prize possession! It was in need of service, and I was at a loss as to whom to contact! As a lifetime NY resident and a recent relocator to FL, I came upon Kew Gardens Jewelers in my search. Aha, Kew Gardens is a NY name! A lovely gentlemen named Bill came to examine my clock at my residence. He patiently disassembled the unit and brought it back to his shop for repair. A week later I was back in business! Bill is obviously very knowledgeable and experienced, and I was lucky to find him!10 stars from me!

We were lucky enough to inherit a Grandmother clock that my grandparents bought in Holland back in the 1950s. Bill has helped us to maintain it and when needed, done minor repairs to keep it chiming "around the clock," every fifteen minutes. He is always easy to work with, honest, and treats our clock the way my grandparents would have wanted. We feel so lucky to have found Bill and Kew Gardens Jewelers.

What a delightful experience! Our cuckoo clock is saved and back on the wall! Bill is warm, understanding, and knowledgeable. He made my 83 year old mother-in-law the happiest I’ve seen her in so long by saving this clock that she purchased with her husband of 55 years before he passed. It was the last thing she had of sentimental value of him and I just can’t place a price tag on that for her. Strongly recommend his services. Thank you Bill!

I have trusted Bill with my sentimental time pieces. Some over 100 years old. His quality work on most time pieces is meticulous and accurate. He’s honest and trust worthy. His prices are fair considering the amount of work that is needed to work on a time piece. It’s not often you find someone with this type of integrity.

I am so happy to hear my 25 year old clock ring the right hour and chime again. Bill is very conscientious and explained every thing in detail and it was not as pricy as I was afraid it would be. It took around an hour and it was fixed!
I recommended him to my nephew who has my mother's grandfather's clock that is not working.

I called Bill to repair our Grand father Clock. He showed On time, His Price Very Reasonable, Provided Exceptional service and explained clearly what work was needed. He was Willing to answer any and all questions in ref to how to maintain clock in working order. I don' think you could find a better service or price anywhere.

We purchased a used Trend Grandfather clock recently and wanted to ensure that it was in fine working order. We contacted Bill at Kew Gardens Jewelers and requested service. He responded quickly with a house call on the second day. He is very professional, personable, efficient and competant. Our clock maintenance was performed with precision and speed.We also had the Quartz Movement replaced on a vintage Welby Schoolhouse Wall clock that is over 50 years old.He is reasonably priced and we will definitely use Kew Gardens Jewelers in the future.

After building a clock over 45 years ago, it finally needed servicing and some repairs. I contacted Bill, from Kew Gardens, and discussed the clocks issues. He estimated the repairs which is hard to do over the phone, but he did.He showed up at my home at the appointed time, assessed the clocks needs and proceed to repair it. About an hour lated, the clock was working like "New." I was very happy with Bill's knowledge of clocks and his professionalism. That is hard to find today. The job was completed as quoted, and I was thrilled with his work. Oh, Yes I would use him again.

I found Bill Bachman of Kew Gardens Jewelers after searching authorized Howard Miller clock repairs. I couldn't be happier with his craftsmanship & business style. My clock was given to me as a gift by my cousins last year after my dear Uncle & G-dfather passed away at 93 years old. My Uncle was the brother of my Dad who passed away at 54 when I was just 24 years old. When the clock first made it into my house and I heard it chime I was reminded of both my Uncle and my Dad. I was disheartened when the chimes stopped working. Bill described the battery problem by phone diagnosed corrosion, etc. and offered to assist. After I brought the clock to Bill he offered two means to repair movement at two cost scenarios and was super helpful, informative and kind. Clock was repaired perfectly. When I heard it chime again I immediately thought of my Dad & Uncle. When daylight savings occurred (a short few days later) Bill was immediately available to help with an answer on winding forward. I highly recommend Bill to anyone needing his services and thank you Bill for helping my Howard Miller clock continue to chime. Father time marches on!

I located Kew Gardens simply by doing a Google search for clock repair. Bill came to me a few days later, and within a few minutes he had the Howard Miller Grandfather Clock chiming on time. He also provided so much information on the clock, a diagram of the inside of the clock to keep, and don’t get me started on his very organized tool/parts box with everything labeled! He then looked at my Howard Miller table clock and took it with him for quite a bit of work to be done. He did get it to chime a couple of times which almost brought tears to my eyes. I look forward to getting it back. I would definitely recommend Kew Gardens for clock repair. These two clocks are very special to me and Bill was definitely the person to do the repair. Give him a call, you won’t be disappointed.
