“Skip the big box store. Basser's Fine Wine has an amazing selection at the best prices. You will get personal recommendations from the owner which will be based on what you want to drink, not what's most expensive. They have high-end wines from all regions as well as everyday wines. It's great supporting a local business as well.
I also recommend attending their periodic free tastings on Saturdays!”

“I am absolutely impressed by this place. I entered a complete novice. Rick was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Every question was answered and most importantly I did not feel like I was a burden. I stopped in and got a couple cigars to try, came back the next day with more knowledge on what I liked. Rick was able to advise me on some different options that fit my taste. He even shared one of his personal cigars for me and my wife to try. Don’t waste your time going anywhere else. Cigars can be like wine in a sense that everyone has their own preferences and tastes, they understood this and never once tried to upsell/shame me into buying something more expensive just to make a buck. They have everything from strong to light, big to small, and any price range to fit your budget. It’s business practices demonstrated here that we need more of. No arrogance or greed just knowledge and the willingness to help.”

They didn't have any, but they were able to order some for me. It was a fast and easy process and now I have some delicious Rekorderlig strawberry lime cider!”

My recent visit to the Publix located at Sawgrass Center truly exceeded expectations. From the moment I walked in, it was clear that this store operates at a much higher standard than most supermarkets. The store is spotlessly clean, well organized, fully stocked, and the overall atmosphere is welcoming and efficient. Even during a busy pre-holiday rush, every aisle looked full and well maintained, which speaks volumes about how well this location is managed.
What made this visit outstanding, however, was the customer service. The front-end management, especially a young woman with glasses (unfortunately I did not get her name), went above and beyond. Whether she was a supervisor or a manager, her professionalism, polite demeanor, and attentiveness stood out immediately. She handled guests with genuine care, ensured lines were moving smoothly, and personally made sure customers received the help they needed without hesitation. Her dedication was the highlight of the entire visit and a perfect example of what great leadership looks like in retail.
This level of care and cleanliness truly shows the difference between this Publix and other supercenters in the area. While some stores may feel rushed, understaffed, or poorly maintained, this Publix proves how strong customer service and proper management can elevate a shopping experience. Fast, friendly, well-stocked, and incredibly organized — it sets the bar very high.
I highly recommend the Publix at Sawgrass Center to anyone who values quality, cleanliness, and respectful, outstanding service. This is exactly the kind of place that keeps customers coming back.”
“Ive came here a couple times and have not been disappointed yet. We love the Japanese A5 wagyu along with the Australian Wagyu if you’re in a rush. Prime cuts are all very tender and rich in flavor as well. Hope they dont go anywhere!”

Get your groceries and then walk next door to get your supplies for your party. The clerk was busy as there was a line(it's Friday) I expected it to be, but as busy as he was, he was still professional and courteous and not frustrated. It was an older gentleman not young on pins and needles ?.”

“BJ's is another chain store with the same model. The only thing that really separates them is the size and location. We really enjoy the Coral Springs location. The store is clean and there is an excellent-friendly team here. BJ's is good! I like coming here because it's less crowded than Costco and I feel like I'm getting good buys here too. They have an excellent deli area (though it can get very busy) and their prices on cooked food is incredibly competitive. Plenty of Isle space and very easy to grab items off the shelf. Their gas station located just down the driveway from the store is great. My only issues here is that it definitely takes longer to check out and I am always approached by the home builders to redo my siding, roof or kitchen. Every once in a while they have a vendor with a local presence. That's a good thing for a big box store to support local. If you're a fan of bulk purchasing and saving money (and who isn't) I highly recommend this BJ's location in Florida... if you're in the area”
