The only reason for 4 stars was that I had a similar service previously, and they offered to Uber me home and then also cover the return ride when my car was finished. They did not offer this time, so I had to pay my own way back and forth (4hr service estimate).

Went there to repair a flat tire. While trying to repair it the tire ripped. They were kind enough to replace new tire with no charge.

If I could give this place a zero out of 10 I absolutely would. I'm not entirely sure who David is or who he thinks he is but I walked in today to get some tires put on my car that I got delivered there he's condescendingly talking to me because I wasn't the one that place the order my uncle did and he had the information. Unfortunately, my uncle does not live in the same city. Since I got there, didn't even have the common decency to say good morning he's slamming around papers and looking like he really just hated his life after giving him the pieces of information that I had for my order, while he's picking and choosing what piece of information he WANTS to look at not what he needs and he is still talking to me like I'm stupid, which I reply that I'm not entirely sure why he's so angry and why he woke up like an asshole, but he didn't need to talk to me the way he was. He started kicking and screaming like a little kid through my keys at me and told me to leave without giving me the money that I paid for the installation services. I'm not entirely sure who does the hiring process but they should hire people that are willing to listen and treat people like people then he has the balls to go ahead and say I'm disrespectful when he has not even the slightest bit of a clue what respectful means which is what I was and patient all morning with that asswipe.

I cannot recommend this Pep Boys location on Univ in Coral Springs. We ordered a tire on the phone, which was supposed to be here on Friday, the day after Thanksgiving. On Saturday, we went in to see if the tire was there, and they said they had no record of it being ordered. So we re-ordered the tire there at the store, with the technician coming out to look at my car and the specific tire we needed. This time we took the technician’s name. Nice guy, super helpful. He said it would be in on Monday, 27 November. By Tuesday, the 28th, we had not heard anything so I called at 3 o’clock in the afternoon. Someone picked up the phone, very quickly told me to hold, and put it back down again. After waiting on hold for 27 minutes, somebody else picked up the phone and said oh sorry that person must’ve just put you on hold and walked away. So I inquired about the second tire we had ordered, and he said there’s no record of an order with that phone number. I told him the name of the technician who had helped us and he said yes he works here, but there’s no record of that tire being ordered. I told him the brand of tire I was looking for, and the year, model and make of the car that I was looking to put it on, but he wanted to know specifically the size of the tire, which I didn’t know. I said, that’s why I asked the technician to come out and look at it. After a few more minutes of silence, while he was looking on the computer, he said he couldn’t help me. I said OK thanks I’ll go somewhere else. And he very cheerfully said OK and hung up. Now, the second guy on the phone was very nice and cheerful but he didn’t help me. And he wasn’t really interested in helping me. Nor was he interested in losing business. I don’t know how it’s possible to order something, the same thing, twice and the store has no record of it. And leaving someone on hold for 27 minutes because you forgot? Nobody noticed the light was flashing for 27 minutes? Customer service is really lacking these days.

Turn around time was short. Tire brand of my preference was available in my size from the shelf. The price was competitive. Only negative was that driver seat, driver door panel were dirty, very dirty. Surprising that as established store as Pep Boys is, seat covers are not used. My car has very light colors and thus every blemish shows immediately. I hope to see an improvement before my next visit.

From the moment I called to get prices, I knew this was the place I would be bringing my car to. Richard was super helpful and inviting on the phone, unlike other nearby places I called like Tire Kingdom and even Nissan! It gave me “we value your business vibe” and why not! When I arrived to pick up my car from being serviced, again the same customer service Richard gave me over the phone he gave in person. They are very transparent and give you honest recommendations! I will definitely be back here for my next service and I definitely recommend people giving them a try. This place really values your time and business! Thank you!!

On Sunday, november 19, 2023 when I returned to pick up my vehicle I left to be serviced, I realized my headlight on the front drivers side had been broken. I immediately notified the pepboys technicians, as I was still standing in the lot where my vehicle was parked and ready for pickup. I was told then and there the employees there at the moment were not allowed to roll the cameras to see exactly what happened. However, the store manager, Richard, would be there on monday 11/20 at 7 a.m when the store opened. I got to the store 6:45 a.m to be exact on 11/20 and waited for Richard to come in and open the store. I went in, explained me dropping my vehicle off in perfect condition and returning to see a broken headlight, Richard's exact words were, " You can leave and I will give you a call because I am not going to leave the front store and go to the back to watch the cameras, it will take hours to rewind the footage and my assistant manager does not get there until 9 a.m." I sat there until 9:30 a.m (missing work) waiting for his assistant manager to show up so he could go check the cameras. Still nothing. I was told I would be contacted. I had to call again on monday afternoon. This is where I was told again, they were still not able to see the camera footage because they are waiting on IT to give them a code. 11/21 I had to call again to see if IT had given the code to access the camera, still nothing. Today, 11/22 I had to call once more and today I am being told they have to wait for the district manager to come in and access the camera. I have been patiently waiting, Today 11/27 and the Store manager Richard told me he watch the camera and did not see his technician brake my headlight. I asked if i could see the footage and his exact words were "he leaves in 15 mins and doesn't have time for that and I should take it up with cooperate because he already closed the case" ... These are the people representing this business.

Pep Boys was extremely professional and helpful. I had taken my car to a Nissan dealership for an oil change and had been told that my alternator was making a noise and should be changed out and that it would cost $2,000 dollars. First of all, Pep Boys estimate of what it would cost to change out my alternator was less than half of what the dealership was going to charge me. However, when I took my car to Pep Boys, they had the integrity to inform me that there was nothing wrong with my alternator and it didn't need to be changed out. It is hard to find a trustworthy mechanic these days, but Pep Boys will definitely be my go to in the future!

Thank you Richard and the mechanics at Pep Boys. Brought my car in for a screw in the tire. Richard was very direct with me and explained ahead of time that he was backed up. I still waited, and they got my car back to me repaired and in a timely manner. Keep up the great work gentlemen.

2.5 hours to remove a spare, mount and balance a new tire on my wheel and put it back on my vehicle. Waited 15 minutes after my pack was brought back up by tech before approaching the desk on my own to get checked out. Waited another 10 while service manager finished a call and took another and then he asked for payment even though I prepaid online.And on top of it all they threw the spare in my third row rather than returning it to my under body carrier

First time going to Pep Boys and it was a very pleasant experience! I was well tended to and helped efficiently, I had gone in for a tire change and was in and out in about a hour and a half, much quicker compared to the last place I went to which had taken nearly 3 hours to change the tire. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to get their car serviced/worked on! Great job guys and thanks again!
