“Family Thrift is a non profit that provides families in need in Broward, Miami, and Palm Beach with clothing and furniture. They will pick up your gently used clothing and furniture for their stores here in Margate and in Lauderhill. They also do buy outs so their stores are a mixture of new and used items. They have this store in Lauderhill and another one in Margate. I had fun sorting through the treasures. They had clothes, furniture, household goods, decorations, and collectibles. There was a lot of things to look at and I was pleasantly surprised by the variety of inventory. Everything was neat, organized, and fairly priced. I saw several people who looked like resellers picking up items and checking prices on their phones before popping it into their carts. If you see something you like grab it. If you enjoy thrifting you will want to check this store out.”

“Needed a transport type wheelchair, but Wal-Mart was nearly $200, found one in Goodwill Margate store priced at $15. in very good condition. Made by Drive. Half the weight of a full wheelchair. Thrilled. If you can't find it, check back in a few weeks. They might have one.”

The offer was $100 more than what I was looking for so I was good with that outright sale non-consignment which was more. I just didn’t like the payment method took a full 7 days to receive. “This store is fabulous. I think David is the owner but I only been there 3 days in a in row lol. It took me that long to go through the whole store. No one is rude....speaking to another review. Everything is well organized. They have manny Coach handbags and other great bags! My 18 year old gr went with me and she found a lot of great things as well.
I was thrilled to find it. It is right by my gym. I have too many clothes but I will bring my stuff in and then I won't feel bad about spending at the Consignment Shop. It was fun to shop and not feel like you are harming the environment (watch the movie Trashed) or spending too much money?”

The staff is friendly and helpful from the moment you walk in, and the clothing selection is HUGE—with true vintage sprinkled in every section. I went in looking for one specific thing… and left with about a dozen items! And that was only because my hands were full! LOL. Highly recommend for any thrifter!”

Their men's section had some nice shirts for sale.The staff working here was very helpful and they all seemed very happy working at this store.There's plenty of parking since this store is part of the Lauderhill Mall shopping center.”

“pretty solid outlet store with some good finds, there are a few things to note 1st, they do not sell jewelry. They only sell clothing and home wears, no furniture either and very, very limited shoes. Certain items are not priced by the pound, I picked a few dresses, but they were actually eight dollars each so I ended up passing on them. Make sure you bring your own bag as carts are limited and they do not have shopping bags. no bad smell and honestly, the place seemed pretty clean and all the clothes seem fairly clean too. Two dollars per pound is a little pricey, but I would go back at the end of the day.”
