“Family Thrift is a non profit that provides families in need in Broward, Miami, and Palm Beach with clothing and furniture. They will pick up your gently used clothing and furniture for their stores here in Margate and in Lauderhill. They also do buy outs so their stores are a mixture of new and used items. They have this store in Lauderhill and another one in Margate. I had fun sorting through the treasures. They had clothes, furniture, household goods, decorations, and collectibles. There was a lot of things to look at and I was pleasantly surprised by the variety of inventory. Everything was neat, organized, and fairly priced. I saw several people who looked like resellers picking up items and checking prices on their phones before popping it into their carts. If you see something you like grab it. If you enjoy thrifting you will want to check this store out.”

“A lot of stuff. I went for furniture since I recently moved. I got two end tables, similar to ikea material, that are self build for $5 each. I got a cute lamp also for $5. I got two brand new never used sports bras for $10. I got a floor mat for $7 & change. I got two pictures (one canvas & one glass) for $3 & $5. Parking is a little tight during Saturday mid-day times. Very clean & smells okay. Some of the high end furniture is very reasonably priced. There were brand new box springs in the bags which were a little above budget. There are a lot of items in this store that were clearly brand new from the manufacturer. One example were cute laundry bags near the checkout desk.”
“Sold a like new Louis V. Speedy NM (medium) and it was quick for the appraisal with the appointment. The offer was $100 more than what I was looking for so I was good with that outright sale non-consignment which was more. I just didn’t like the payment method took a full 7 days to receive. But all in all it went pretty smoothly and the staff were very pleasant and easy to work with in Boca.”

“If you love to HUNT, Chabad Thrift is for you!!! They have everything you can imagine with some real hidden gems tucked throughout the store! The staff is friendly and helpful from the moment you walk in, and the clothing selection is HUGE—with true vintage sprinkled in every section. I went in looking for one specific thing… and left with about a dozen items! And that was only because my hands were full! LOL. Highly recommend for any thrifter!”

“I donated furniture here today in immaculate condition, rarely used, maintained in a smoke-free, pet-free environment. Upon arrival a gentleman quickly came out and carried the furniture for me. I was skeptical afterwards, but now that I’m reading the reviews, I know my furniture will quickly have a new home!! There was a slight stench in the store. However, my furniture was wrapped in plastic which should protect it from odors.”

“Nice Goodwill store with the usual departments. Their home decor area is lager than some other ones I've been to. Their men's section had some nice shirts for sale.The staff working here was very helpful and they all seemed very happy working at this store.There's plenty of parking since this store is part of the Lauderhill Mall shopping center.”

“I like this place, despite all the downsides. Be prepared to stand your ground and keep a close eye on your belongings. Amid the chaos, there are some great finds hidden in those bins—many will need a little TLC, but they’re definitely worth it. Don’t expect polite behavior: most of the shoppers are regulars and can be quite aggressive. Once you understand the vibe, though, you can score some really good deals.”
