I use this bank as a secondary bank. I’m a new member there. The staff has really good customer service. They went over any and everything I needed to know, no hidden fees, they were very upfront about all fees and penalties.I would definitely recommend them if you’re looking for a large national bank.

The bank will offer pre-approved credit lines with full existing knowledge or credit worthiness (have long standing existing banking relationship including a 3 year old secure card line) but after achieving the hard credit pull, will decline often if credit is not an exemplary level. (I have a single 6 year old, non bankruptcy collection) It's a dishonest trade practice which consumers should take note of before considering their credit line options and offers.

This bank is the worse I have ever seen. I had a balance in my account and bought a cup of coffee and the statement said pending and I had plenty of money to cover the cost of the coffee. The balances said "pending" and Available" so it should have been set aside in reserve for when it came in. Instead they held it for days and after grocery shopping thinking I had a balance BBVA charged me $38 for the coffee! I called a rep at BBVA named Phillipe who said not to worry he would take care of it he never did. I called back and the supervisor said they would listen to my taped conversation with Phillipe and he promised it would be reimbursed. It never happened. I was lied to by BBVA reps, now it has exploded into a $400 overdraft. My local banker Bob said I would never get back the overdraft, to forget about it. I am done with BBVA and their gouging. NEVER bank with them. Until they keep their word I am not doing any business with them. I looked them up and they have several class action suits pending against them. Now they are saying they are going to charge me $23 additional for not paying the gouging charges. They are being taken over by PNC bank soon. Beware...just my opinion.

Hands-down the best banking experience I have ever had. I hold personal and business accounts here and receive the best service. All the bankers are friendly and very helpful! I will be a loyal customer for life!

Awful company had to pull 5000 out to buy a house asked to use restroom since I have a disability. Was told no bathroom for customers. Would give 0 if possible.

Have known and worked with them for 2 decades and have always been helpful and offered anything I needed. I've had some difficulty with the computer systems, but, never the local branch. Love these people.

Horrible customer service from the branch manager. Will be closing my account as soon as they open in the morning. Would not recommend this bank to anyone

Horrible Place horrible people unfriendly didn't believe my social security number was actually my social security number. When I walked in no one said hello they look like the Grim Reaper had just come in. However apparently a regular that they knew when he came in they all said hello how are you they ignored my husband and me. When we went to open a checking account they told me they didn't believe my Social Security was my Social Security I had to go home and get my Social Security card and bring it back and then at that point I told him to forget it I've never in my life seen a bank so miserable period would not recommend this to anyone.
