Truck was good but customer service was lackluster. Wouldn't allow me to split payment two cards. Only one person working the desk so line was long and kept staying long. Mandatory insurance policy for three days was really expensive. Out of town from off is really expensive but beat competitive prices of the others. I gave a 3 for surprise insurance cost the day before getting the truck and not being able to use multiple cards to pay.

Excellent customer service. I booked a truck but the previous person who had it extended their booking so it was not back in time and they called me early to let me know that it would not be there and were kind enough to handle the cancelation of the booking for me at no cost to me. Customer service was on point, and he was very nice. Thank you for making the best of an impossible situation.

I reserved a 16 ft truck to go out of state to pick up items. I was quoted a price for unlimited miles in my reservation. Minutes before I was scheduled to pick up the truck, the Crestview budget outlet at Meda and Cody Trent Building Supply called to tell me he was sorry, but he just noticed my reservation and he didn't have any trucks. I was very unhappy that I had been given a reservation confirmation if no truck was available. I called budget and a manager told me I could get the 26 ft truck for the same price from Crestview. I went to pick up the truck and the man renting me the truck grumbled that he didn't know how I was quoted for unlimited miles, but since it happened he had to give it to me. I asked again to be sure before leaving amd he assured me my rental came with unlimited miles. I returned my truck to a different location and 10 minutes after I left I was hit with a $867 charge for miles. Again I called budget and found that the Crestview office created a new reservation for only 50 miles, meaning he lied to me. They saw my original reservation for unlimited miles and agreed to immediately refund the money. However, now I have to wait 5-10 business days for that money to be returned to my account. Very poor business and if 0 stars was an option that is what I would give them.

The office was a sloppy mess and staff unprofessional. The truck I got had recently had the driver's window replaced, and there was still glass in the seat. Dirty and uncomfortable truck.

The worst truck rental experience ever! The customer support line wasnt much better. Go to the Fort Walton location or rent from a different company. So glad I'm out of Crestview!

Cody Trent is a terrible person. I called for a rental and he told me to come down, ending the call he said "If you are white you can find it". He's an embarrassment to my home town and is a horrible representative for Budget. I ended up at U-haul, professional and not racist.

The guy I dealt with renting the truck was very rude obnoxious and very insulting. I asked if I could add another driver and he never once mentioned the $75 fee to do so until he had already taken my credit card. We let him know the gas was on 3/4 of a tank and he insisted it was a full tank that it just drops down showing 3/4 after cranking it up, (we have pictures) which is not true because we have filled it up and it was showing full and hasn't dropped down yet after a good 20 min down the road. Also the truck isn't in very good driving condition. It has a severe pull to the right which in turn has caused a bad tire. Budget was supposed to be a cheaper and better alternative to uhaul but at this point I'm not so sure that's the case.
