Stay away. This hotel is filthy and my room was invested with cockroaches.
Noteworthy details: Room was invested with cockroaches

Good place to stay. Rooms are nice, typical HIE breakfast. Hotel can be noisey when school's out.
We stay here a lot.

Nothing like the previous reviews
Location is great
Hotel is decently clean
No mold or roaches like in previous reviews
Room did have a slight marijuana smell even though it’s non smoking room
I don’t understand hotels allowing this to happen
Overall I would stay here again

What has happened to this Holiday Inn? We have been staying here on and off for a few years, as it is the only hotel in Crestview with an indoor pool. It’s been approximately a year since our last stay and until now we have had no issues. There was mold all over the bathroom and the tiles were broken on the floor, the entire second floor smelled terribly of pot the moment we stepped off the elevators, and I (as of this moment) have seen a small cockroach in our room. I’m a little freaked out to sleep in fear there are more. Gosh, those bugs disgust me. I’d ask to move rooms, but assume all rooms have them and one of my kiddos is already asleep. Also, the snack station was virtually empty, which isn’t a huge deal. However, the woman at the front desk is a bright and shiny light for this place. So friendly and pleasant. Give her a raise, call an exterminator, and clean the bathrooms. Or at the very least, charge less per night so the expectation of standards in cleanliness are lower. Unfortunately, I think this will be our last time here. I hope one of the new hotels being constructed in Crestview will have an indoor pool.
Update: The following morning, my children spotted a cockroach climbing on the wall and snapped a picture. They were freaked out and wanted to go tell the front desk. At the front desk they were ignored, while multiple people sat in the back office chatting and laughing and cursing. I was standing in the breakfast area watching, but allowing some slight independence to talk to guest services. No one would speak with them.
The breakfast was okay though, lots of choices and even gluten free bagels.

Do yourself, your family, or anyone you care about a huge favor and never stay at this hotel. I stayed here one night on a business trip. The guests across the hall smoked so much pot that the entire floor reeked. They were in and out of the room, slamming the door on the hour- EVERY HOUR! My room had mold that was dripping down the shower, blood on the sheets, and fell far short of a good night's rest. I would stay far away from this hotel.

Rooms were filthy. Roaches in multiple rooms. Traveling with another family so that's the reason I say multiple. Had to change rooms. Shining light was breakfast bar was great. Odd layout with the built in room for it, however it was good. I was happy to only stay one night here and not a whole week.

It is 7am as I type this ...as my spouse and I are LEAVING the parking lot mid-stay...because staying here is UNTHINKABLE. We were here less than 24 hours and could not tolerate the infestation of the room. Imagine having to keep all the lights on at night and attempt to sleep sitting up in hopes that a roach doesn't crawl into your ears. Hair in the linen makes me think the sheets were not washed...nasty stains in the tub and on the ceiling. Cobwebs in one corner of the room. For THIS you can stay at a Budget Inn! I'm convinced that these 5 star reviews are fake because there is NO WAY only one room, on the third floor, of this hotel is infested. I will be contacting the health department. Especially considering the way whoever manages/responds to these Google reviews comes across as defensive, condescending, and childish. Let's not argue with me about MY money being NOT well spent. But if you want to do your research, we were in room 327 on 11/29/24. Reservation is under my wife's name, before you claim to not have a record of our stay. No worries, I will include our receipt in my email to corporate. The best part of this experience was the lady at the front desk, Christie. She was very apologetic and adjusted our charges by $20 and canceled the fees for the rest of the stay. She was kind. Thank God for good customer service rep bc your cleaning staff and management (bc let's face it, you need to hold your cleaning staff accountable and protect the integrity of your company) are repulsive.

Well we had a very unpleasant experience here. Place was filthy. Roaches in rooms can only imagine what’s in the kitchen!! Ice bins at end of hall filthy! We complained the offered a $16 refund. We couldn’t sleep and definitely wouldn’t eat from this place. Had about $70 in leftovers from Texas Roadhouse which was amazing fyi :) that we also had to throw away due to the bugs and filth! I do not suggest this place to anyone. I would have went to a motel 6 for this kind of service.

I booked a suite because it was the only handicapped room left and while the bed was super comfortable the handicapped restroom was a total disappointment. The toilet was low and I had a hard time pulling myself up and the so called shower chair was totally useless. Not only was it so low that there would have been no way to get back on my wheelchair, it was also on the other side of the bath tub from the shower head and there was no way to reach the faucet.

I visited for a business meeting. The rented room fulfilled our needs perfectly. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The experience would've been better if there were sidewalks and bike racks around the hotel.
I greatly enjoyed the flavored water available in the lobby, and the bathrooms were luxurious.
Single-Occupant Restrooms available in the lobby
LGBTQ+ Customers| This location and the staff employed currently, seem to be welcoming toward LGBTQ+ customers. Though I don't know the stance of the management or the company itself.
Safety: The roadways and exit to get to this business are under active maintenance as of October 2024, which makes it challenging and more risky when driving up to this establishment.
Walkability: A gas station and restaurants are close by. Walking is possible but challenging as the sidewalks are inadequate, and there is ongoing road construction as of October 2024.
Noteworthy details: The building is located quite a distance from the roadway, so you may face difficulty finding it if you've never been here before. There is also an active construction site next to the hotel, as of October 2024.

I have to give 3 stars because while it was what we needed, a place to lay and get rest for a few hours, it was the most horrible breakfast I've EVER had at a hotel. Bacon was BURNT, all thru the lobby all you could smell was burnt bacon and they put it out to serve. The bacon was sitting in inches of grease not being on a rack just sitting in the grease. The eggs couldn't even be saved with a good salsa and S&P! The turkey sausage tasted sour! Staff was nice and the room was great.

Stayed on Sunday night of Memorial Day weekend, even for a holiday weekend it's over priced. The breakfast bar was the usual. For the price you expected better. I've had better breakfast at other hotels that cost less!! Room was very clean. Bed very soft, loved it!!!!
