Over-qualified for position I interviewed for. CMA certification, GED, and prior medical experience. All that was needed for position was an high school diploma or GED. Empty nester no little kids at home so open availability. Training hours would be hard for someone not in my position to be available for. Training is an hour away and you have to stay in an hotel for 6 weeks Monday thru Friday. Someone with a family or small kids at home couldn’t be away from their kids for 6 weeks Monday - Friday. Only one other person interviewing for the same position but they stated they needed enough people to fill a training class. Wasn’t hired for the job. Pretty sure because I’m 46 years old, that’s why I wasn’t hired. Age discrimination. It had to be because no background check was ran and no drug screen scheduled. Company wouldn’t tell me why they didn’t hired me either. July 2025 is when I interviewed. I would not recommend applying here. They missed out on an amazing loyal hard working employee. Their loss. Luckily I found a better position but wanted to warn others especially those that don’t have time to waste waiting for this company to come through.

I've donated blood and platelets at this location a few times now and plan to return here in the future. It would be great if bike racks were added to this plaza.
Some of the employees here do well with transgender donators- though I can't speak for all the employees here.
The complaints I have are with the corporation itself and their policies- in terms of historical LGBTQ+ exclusion and lack of support for transgender donators. They should do more to make it easier for trans people to donate without being misgendered or being referred to by the wrong name.

I have been donating blood with Oneblood for a while now. I go in every time I'm eligible to donate again. They are very professional and attentive and make sure you're comfortable, hydrated, and leave with a snack and feeling back to normal. It is a wonderful thing to donate blood and save lives. Also, you receive a gift card for your donation. I highly recommend if you aren't currently donating blood, this is a great place to get started.

The staff is so nice and accommodating. If you're donating blood it's super quick, usually in and out in less than 30 minutes. If you're donating platelets you'll have to make an appointment because it takes 2+ hours and they only have 2 beds for that.

I've been trying to donate for over a year and today, Luvly, was an absolute girl boss. She nailed the line and I was able to successfully donate! Barely felt the needle go in and didn't feel it come out. Her bedside manner was on point. Will be coming back as long as Luvly is here ??

The workers here are kind and gentle when drawing blood. They take the time to get to know you and call you by name. I like to come and donate blood quite often. It’s a great thing to donate blood and they also give out pretty decent gifts.

Went there yesterday because I thought of doing something good On my birthday. I'm scared of needles but Jennifer, Jake & Milenna ( sorry forgot the spelling) made me & my husband feel so comfortable. They were very welcoming, friendly, and answered all my questions patiently. Keep it up guys ❤️

At Walmart in DeFuniak Springs. I didn't have an appointment. Thought I would do a walk in. Have given blood with them before. I stepped in the bus. Was told that they couldn't have more than one at the back of the bus. I had to stand out in the rain. I decided screw it and left.

Great experiences. Techs are friendly. Have never had pain @ the Crestview center. Had pain only once at a Red Bus Blood Drive in FWB in 2005; Shane quickly took over for the inexperienced phlebotomist / / No they don’t pay for blood (per se), so don’t expect to sell it here if you’re homeless. Contrary to one review, donation is more common in the South versus selling blood products.// Currently donating plasma once per month.

I was very pleased with my experience at Oneblood Crestview location. This was my first visit and was blown away by the staff’s professionalism and care. Amber, specifically was extra friendly, I appreciated her knowledge in her work and appreciate how considerate she was. Overall, wonderful experience!!

Amazing people. I have never been more comfortable donating blood then here or in the red bus. If you are in the area these folks are super kind and very professional.
