Putnam Lodge is a wonderful historical lodge that transports guests to early 20th century Florida, retaining its 1920s charm with a classic look and original details. The rooms are cute, cozy, and comfortable with very comfortable beds, though some face the main highway where traffic noise can be loud. The property features delightful outdoor surroundings, including an amazing outside garden, patios, and even peacocks. The owners and staff are very friendly, providing great service and hospitality. The on-premise restaurant is an important part of the experience, serving truly amazing dinners and great food, though experiences with breakfast and some menu items can vary. Amenities include TV, WiFi, and a free breakfast room accessible anytime. The location is great right on the main highway, convenient for trips, though there are no other activities in the immediate area. The lodge offers a unique, nostalgic atmosphere with quirky things everywhere, making for a memorable stay.
