“Since I’m done with Airbnb’s this is my new to go place for a nice, comfortable, safe stay when I come this way to scallop. Clean, relaxing pool area. Clean rooms, ice machines actually have ice, no roaches (so gross, none here.). Not always reasonably priced but that’s how it goes sometimes.”

“I had the chance to do a delivery here and it warrants this review. The front desk lady is super professional. The place is absolutely beautiful and the owner is very kind he even offered me ethiopian coffee which I happily accepted it tasted wonderful and he went on to explain that they actually make it there. I also had the brief chance of seeing him interacting with his staff and a guest that was checking in he was joyful and kind to them as well. When I have out of town guests in I would definitely recommend them this place to them. It's a very nice clean hotel with happy staff and a great owner.”

“Rooms accommodate well but location is perfect for the manatees. You can rent a boat or snorkel with them. See them right out the back door. Restaurant next door had delicious Mahi. I enjoyed it very much.”

“Third stay in 5 years, first since remodel. The remodel is really nice and was definitely needed. This is now a legit 3 star. The people that work here are nice and friendly just like the whole town.”

“Fijn motel voor 1 nacht, aardige dame aan de receptie. 2 queens bedden, heerlijk geslapen. Zwembad was nog aan de koude kant half maart. Alleen bij het ontbijt waren er alleen waffles, appel en yoghurt.”

“The Plantation Hotel is a very unique property with a lot of charm. The pool was excellent and one of the highlights of my stay. Although many of the other amenities were closed due to ongoing renovations, it's easy to see that the property has great potential and will be beautiful once the work is completed.
The biggest disappointment was the lack of drinking water. There was no complimentary water in the room, and the front desk didn't even have bottled water available for purchase. While I was at the pool, I walked to the front desk hoping to buy a bottle of water, but instead I was told to use a vending machine that was about 400 feet away. Having to make that walk in a swimsuit was inconvenient and unnecessary. Offering bottled water at the front desk would greatly improve the guest experience, especially during the renovations.
On a positive note, Barbara at the breakfast buffet was wonderful. She was warm, friendly, and welcoming—the only employee I encountered who showed real personality and made me feel genuinely appreciated as a guest.”
