Decided to try the h&r block near me and I was connected with Hilda "Chicky" Gardener. Chicky is very good. She knows her stuff. She took what I thought was going to be an incredibly hard process and made it seem fairly simple. I would definitely recommend Chicky to anyone, but especially people with complicated returns. I will be back next year and I hope to get Chicky again. She makes things seem easy. I highly recommend this h&r block.

I've been going to HR Block since 2003, this year I tried filing online and had one issue I couldn't figure out to properly submit. So when I called you the office I was told I couldn't be given advice on the phone and would have to come in, so I swung by to check availability and was laughed at by the receptionist for who knows what. When I came back for my appointment the lady (really wish I remembered her name) was beyond rude and obviously didn't know much about how to do her job, even less about customer service. At the conclusion of a prolonged and unnecessarily difficult process of making up numbers, she finally informed me if I was unhappy with her work I was free to leave, so I did. Won't be going here again and normally wouldn't complain about a place, but this was a horrible experience that I hope to prevent others from having.

My experience with H&R Block in Crystal River was great because my agent Mrs. Moroney was so helpful and kind and welcoming, and made my whole experience hassle free as I tried to juggle filing my taxes and my toddler. I appreciate her very much and had a great experience because of it!!

It was so easy to make a same day appointment and get everything done in less than an hour. Ms. Kathleen was so patient and helpful and just made the experience actually enjoyable and stress free. She definitely has a good sense of humor and seems to care about what she does and enjoys helping people with their taxes.UPDATE 2/6/23Used Ms. Kathleen as our agent again this year and she was still super helpful. Already set up an appointment to see her in 2024!
