Lot lighting could use some serious work. Late at night it's difficult to see. Better lighting could also aid with seeing the signs above their doors. If you're not familiar with the location it's easy to miss at night due to poor lighting conditions pon the front of their building. A few signs to mark the exit routes would be nice to see as well. The front gate has a security pad to enter a code provided to you when you purchase a unit. The gates are roughly 8' high wrought iron. Relatively safe. Have had no problems with our unit the last 2 years. Price is a touch high, even with one of their smallest units it was well over 130 a month.

Before coming here, I spent a full day driving around the Crystal River area checking out all the storage facilities. Out of all of them, this one was by far the cleanest and most secure heavy-duty gates, cameras everywhere, and everything well maintained. I’ve had a self-storage unit here for a few months now and have been really impressed, so I decided to start keeping my boat here too. The price is great for what you get, and the staff are always friendly and helpful with any questions. I’ll definitely be bringing all my high-end play toys here! Highly recommend iStorage in Crystal River.
