some departments are good, many want to have it their way. long wait times for a phone call to get answered, yet they call you when they want and interrupt your work. Lowe's is 15 miles away in Inverness, I prefer to work with them, but sometimes have no choice because HD is located in Crystal River and I need materials there.

Really love this Crystal River Home Depot. Very helpful employees that know their store, ample parking, lots & lots of home improvement items.

Went in picked out a shower we liked. Waited 2 weeks' for the company they subcontract with to give us a full estimate to install it. And a no show from the estimator?
Now they text and want to reschedule?
I will cancel the shower system and find another company.

Very well organized. Found what we needed quickly thanks to the great customer service offered. Stock was neat and things were where they were supposed to. We had to wait a little in the wood area but it wasnt that much and once the representative came it was easy to get what we needed and go ok with our project. Will definitely come back when needing things for the house projects.

Lots of retired trades people work here so there is a good knowledge base when you ask them questions.

If you are a veteran be aware that Home Depot does not care about you. Not really. I am a veteran with PTSD. I got financing though their credit card service citi bank which is their vendor. i.e. Citibank works for home depot in this scenario.
citibank has a scam set up to force people to give them free access to their checking account and refuses to let customers use debit cards. I won't go into the reason why more places are doing this but it's to limit your rights should you be billed incorrectly.
Since I don't want to allow them access to my checking account I have to manually go in and pay the bill every month. It's literally over a dozen mouse clicks multiple text messages to verify who I am and more inconveniences that I have to go through every month to pay my bill.
The last time I had a problem and had to call citibank. The customer service was so atrocious it literally triggered me and I ended up putting my fist through my bedroom wall. The first time I've ever been pushed to that extreme in my entire lifetime.
When I went to Home Depot they gave me the brushoff saying they have no control over what citibank does. That is a blatant lie because they can put limits around how citibank interacts with their customers if they want to continue to get Home Depot's business.
In the end the cheesy discount and few parking spaces means nothing when home depot wants to throw their hands up and say they advocate for us by forwarding an email to their vendor, that works for them, and saying sorry veteran with ptsd, you just have to deal with being triggered by the unethical corporation we decided to get into bed with. Shameful. Zero responsibility.
For all those veterans and those that profess to support veterans bear that in mind as you are spending money in their stores.
