My dad has an account with my name on it. I've been depositing his checks for him for over a year same teller at the drive through every time. Today it's taking longer, my phone rings and it's Southstate I answer and they hang up. I push the teller button at the drive thru and ask did someone try to call me. She said ummm let me check (I seen her hang up the phone with I answered) manager comes and says she has to call my dad because it looks like I signed the check for him and she needs to make sure I have permission to deposit the checks.1st I'm mad because I have been signing & depositing his checks for over a year no problem2nd I'm told that I can write mobile deposit on the check with my handwriting and it won't be a problem....Okay to there silly policy but the way it was handled was ridiculous.

Bonnie and Staff are top notch! Whatever you pay them is not enough, they all deserve a raise. Great group to work with.

I was a costumer with CenterState Bank b4 it became South State Bank. All though the costumer service at the Dade City Office is great. The bank itself sucks. Only ATM without a fee is their ATM (CenterState was no fee at any publix) also their App sucks. They don't have many locations. I'm thinking about finding me another bank

What a waste of time! Slowest and one of the worst branches i have been to! Nobody was ahead of me. Just me! Time is valuable! We should not be sitting there for such a lengthy period to finish what should be a 5 min transaction! CenterState, you need to do better! Learn from chase and Wells Fargo! It’s not just banking, it’s also our time!!! convenience is key! Horrendous service!! Smh! What a joke!!

I don't know what to say about the review with one star except that I own a business and have worked with Center State Bank in Dade City for 8 years now. They have been exceptional to work and I have a complicated transaction history. They are very personable and proficient. If you want to feel like a bank actually cares about you and your success, I can't think of a better bank, and I deal with about 20 banks on a regular basis.

They Started charging a monthly fee without informing me. What's the point of even putting money into the account if it's going to be taken out in "maintenance fees"?
