Spectacular customer service, especially from Melanie. Was greeted and felt very welcomed by every employee. Definitely coming back. The staff are so helpful, I imagine the negative reviews on here are from ppl who let their kids run around stores unattended.

I went to American Eagle with my girlfriend to return an item, and the employee was incredibly rude and unprofessional. She refused to help with the return or even offer store credit, even though the online policy said it could be done. Instead of explaining things politely, she called my girlfriend rude and sensitive — which was completely unnecessary since my girlfriend never cursed or raised her voice. The way we were treated was unacceptable. We left feeling disrespected and frustrated. Definitely not the kind of service you’d expect from American Eagle.

I went to American Eagle to return an item and had a really bad experience. The associate was extremely rude — she called me rude and sensitive even though I never cursed or raised my voice. I just wanted to understand why I couldn’t get a refund or even store credit, especially since online it clearly says I can return in-store. Instead of helping, she dismissed me and sent me over to the Aerie cashier without trying to resolve the issue. I’ve always liked shopping here, but after being treated that way, I don’t feel comfortable coming back.

I had a really disappointing experience at American Eagle. I went to return an item that was past 30 days but still within the 67-day window listed online for refunds, and the associate refused to help me. She was rude and dismissive when I tried to explain what the website says. I’ve always liked AE’s clothes, but the poor customer service really changed my opinion.

I love this location! I always shop here and everyone is beyond friendly and helpful — seriously, they go out of their way to assist you. The staff is so kind, and every visit has been a great experience.

My Wife and I have gone to the store in Dania Pointe five times and each time has been such a professional and enjoyable experience especially with the interactions with Daniela and Elia and the store manager assistant Makeda they have made shopping experience easy for me to accompany my wife clothes shopping!
I have to say I have no problem returning to this store whenever my wife gets the urge.
Whomever reads this Please recognize Daniela it’s so well deserved!!!!

No one was available at the cashier. When I finally managed to speak to someone, I asked why there was no one working in the store. She was extremely rude and actually told me not to come back. Yes — she really told me not to return. Completely unacceptable customer service.

I asked for a shirt hanging on the wall because what was available was not my size. Sellers had no business in helping they simply turned down our request. When this store closes, I would not be surprised. But seller had enough energy to tun after my mom and point out on her short shorts lol. CHILL WE WERE AT THE BEACH. MAYBE IF YOU RAN FOR A LADDER YOU WOULD MAKE A SALE LOL

I’ve been a regular American Eagle customer and usually enjoy shopping at the Dania Pointe location. Today, I visited with my two kids. One of them fell, and a manager told me to “watch them more closely.” The tone felt more like a warning than genuine concern.
What upset me even more is that my Asian friend was asked to leave the store during her visit with her children. After what happened today, I can’t help but wonder if we’re being treated differently because we’re Asian moms.
I work in customer service myself, and I would never treat mothers with children with such disrespect. I’ve never written a negative review before, but this experience truly left me feeling unwelcome and disappointed. It has negatively changed how I see the American Eagle brand. I will no longer be visiting this particular store. I hope the location reflects on how it treats diverse families and chooses kindness and inclusion going forward.

Not long ago, my children and I were essentially forced to leave, even though my kids were behaving calmly, not making noise, and not disturbing anyone. The store wasn’t crowded, and we weren’t bothering any customers, yet the sales assistants were clearly annoyed by our presence and kept giving us judgmental looks from the moment we walked in.
I felt very uncomfortable and unwelcome, and it became obvious that we were not wanted there. It was upsetting and humiliating especially when all I wanted was to shop peacefully with my kids.
This kind of treatment is unacceptable. We are regular customers and have the same right to be in the store as anyone else. I truly hope the management takes this seriously and addresses the behavior of the staff so that other families don’t have to go through a similar experience.
If children are not welcome in the store, then please just put up a sign that says so. That would be more honest than treating families like a problem. It was such an unpleasant experience, especially considering that I’m a regular customer. We shop at many other stores, and no one has ever treated us this way.

Super rude - refused to take my return because Makena the store manager insisted the clothing had a smell. Strange because the 1st employee helping me said and smelled nothing until she mentioned it. Very unpleasant experience ending with a call to AE customer service. Lies with no evidence besides attitude. Deterred from shopping there again - although I've been shopping AE for years.

The store itself has some really good clothes, but the girls working there are so rude! It's unbelievable. All. Of. The. Women. Not one is nice ever. Should hire some new girls who actually act like they want to be at there. I swear attitude makes you not want to come back, even though the clothes are nice. Such a shame!

American Eagle outfitters on line purchase CANNOT BE TRUSTED!!
They charge you for an order before checking if the merchandise is available or NOT!
After a week of holding your payment hostage, without communication from the Company, I had to call for the status of my shipment, that is when I was told that the product was unavailable, but meanwhile my money was being held and I had no merchandise!
NOTE;
THEY SHOULD CHARGE, at time of SHIPPING AND NOT RIGHT AFTER ORDERING HAS BEEN PLACED!!
BE AWARE CUSTOMERS!!

I’m beyond frustrated with the poor service at Aerie! The employees spend 90% of their time YAPPING instead of helping customers. On a long, busy day, I might understand some delays, but on slow days, there’s no excuse for such terrible service. every time my friends and i come they are always rude to us! my friends and i are tired of this FOOLISHNESS

I recently had a very disappointing experience at the American Eagle store located at Dania Pointe. I went in to return an item that still had all its tags attached, along with my receipt and order number. However, the manager, Joe, flat-out refused to take the return. Despite having all the necessary documentation, they wouldn't even offer me store credit.
In addition, I spoke to another employee named Ashley, who was very rude and unhelpful. When I tried to explain my situation, she was dismissive and did not offer any solutions. Her attitude made the whole experience even more frustrating.
I have been a loyal customer of American Eagle since I was 15 years old, and I always buy my jeans here. I am now 40 years old and have a long history with the brand, yet I was treated like garbage. The lack of flexibility and understanding from the staff was truly disappointing.
As a long-time customer, I expected a much higher level of service from American Eagle. This experience has left me questioning whether I will shop here again. Overall, the customer service was horrible, and the entire experience was extremely frustrating. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and works to improve their return policy and customer service.
I just want a store credit! I don’t even want my money back!
