Highly negative experience with this branch teller concierge Michelle Martinez.I’m Citi Preferred Customer for 25 years with six digits deposits in this bank. I came to this branch to take some cash from my personal account where I keep my funds. I requested less than 10k. Bank card, pin and my ID is a standard procedure. But Michelle was not in the mood, was rude, then called for verification (which is standard procedure) and couldn’t read her ID, my ID and my account number to the operator without multiple mistakes. Then after 10 rude minutes she trow me my ID back saying “your account will be closed for fraud and Citibank will send you check for all your funds”. I was shocked. I called to Citi fraud department immediately and they said it is a nonsense, but they did open review on the account (which is ok). An hour later Citi fraud department called me to verify a few things and release account back to normal. The reason for review was Citibank teller Martinez who act strangely on the phone with Citi rep and couldn’t read numbers right. I must say within this waiting hour I though to move all my personal and business account away from Citi, where such unprofessional people employed.I hope she will be sanctioned or fired.

Today I have encounter the most disrespecfulm bank teller athe the Dania Beach florida branch....Her name was Maryet Davis, She did not want to deposit my check by claiming that I did not write "hundreds" that was not true..It was the meanest encouter in 50 years working with all major banks...I will report this to the management.

I arrived to open an account right at 9am and was laughed out of the room and told I should plan better. Never in my life have I needed an appointment to open a bank account and the branch was empty. I’m not sure how other commenters showed up without appointments. I see why the reviews are so bad and 2.5 stars is generous.

I arrived at the bank without an appointment to open an account, but the manager, Jorge Valdez, was very kind and got someone to help me. As I don't speak English, he followed the process of opening an account with me and translated everything. The service is amazing and I really appreciate the kindness of him and Christina Ali who helped me. I recommend this agency if you are looking for a bank to open an account. El servicio de esta agencia es muy bueno y el Sr. Jorge Valdez es muy amable.

The laziness is obscene, abysmal attitude was appalling. Walked in at 3:15 and were told they couldn't help us with banking services as they "close in 30 minutes"... Mind you, we were the only customers present. The dank smell did not help the mid-90s atmosphere.

No Citibank branch would answer my call, I would always get connected to the corporate branch which I did not want, so I walked in to this branch and was greeted by Christina. She didn't seem eager to help me at first, perhaps too close to closing time. She was not able to set up an appointment with one of the branches closer to my home so she agreed to set up an appointment at her branch with her. The appointment was set for the following Wednesday at 2 PM, she gave me her business card and I wrote down 2 PM on the business card. Wednesday rolls around, I show up at 2 PM and she is with another customer. I explained I was here for a 2 PM appointment and she asked with who. I explained that I had made an appointment last week in person with her for today at 2 PM in her office to set up a business account. She said that was not possible because she doesn't make appointments at 2 PM, yet she had somebody in her office. Her attitude was not what you would expect as a customer looking to start a business account with their branch. She said I'll be with you in a few minutes. A few minutes went by at which time I left and went to Chase where they were happy to help me.

In this City bank employees are so rude no ethical professionals , I don't suggest to open accounts or transactions here.

Refused to help me with a credit card issue. Yet the banker will definitely open a card for you for the commission. Terrible
