My experience with manager Eric was very unprofessional and frustrating. During an exchange, he offered me two small bottles for free (which I hadn’t asked for or expected), but later charged me and said he was “joking” when I called the store to clarify. Despite his apology, the miscommunication left me extremely dissatisfied.

Purchased Evo Forte dive fins at Divers Direct Dania for my son’s open water certification. The strap broke after just 3 dives, right before his final exam. When we returned to the store, a refund or replacement was denied because we were 2 days past the 30 days return policy. Disappointing experience with both product durability and customer service. Poor product, worse service—never coming back.

Beware
If you buy a tank from this place make sure it has a visual sticker on it. I bought one from them and they never put a visual sticker on it. I went to another dive shop, and I was told that it had no visual sticker on it.
Went back to Divers Direct and the manager wasn't not very apologetic about his employee's mistake.
As always, the place was empty, and I asked Eric the manager to do the visual and he told me that he couldn't do it right away.
Eric refused to take care of the visual inspection. This inspection usually takes about 20 minutes or less.
Except for the old guy that works there, all other employees are clueless in how to treat returning customers.
Only tourists shop and this overpriced so called dive shop.
A visual inspection usually takes under 10 minutes to perform.

divers direct sore in Fort Lauderdale refused to follow corporate policy and refund for diving weights.
I visited store on July 18 to get refund for weights purchased less than 30 days ago. I have receipt and original tags. It took me 1 hour drive one way. I was told it is not refundable.
I show refund policy from the website. And was told it mean nothing. so, buyers beware. I cannot trust this company. I spent 389 dollars in this place, and was going to spend another $500. Obviously $30 for refund is more important for those guys.

My dive buddy and I needed new dive equipment but we live in Los Angeles and the selection in our dive shops there isn’t that great. We had visited Divers Direct in Key Largo years ago but heard that their main store is in Fort Lauderdale, so we decided to fly in and get everything we needed. We are always amazed at the mere size of the store. Picture a large grocery store, totally dedicated to nothing but dive equipment! Then, there’s the selection. DD has everything you need, spread out, and nicely displayed in their separate areas, (unlike smaller dive shops that cram everything into one small space). The best part perhaps is that their prices are less than those you’d find elsewhere. They also have some great deals if you purchase a complete package that includes your BCD, regulators, and computer. Customer service is also superb because the store is staffed with divers who can assist you in making the right decisions for your diving needs. Joseph was very knowledgeable, and didn’t try to sell us more expensive things that we didn’t need. Either flying in or ordering online, DD will be our go-to dive shop, even if they are 2,700 away!

Haven't been to a nicer Diver's Direct. Cyndi was a tremendous help, friendly and knowledgeable. Their stock is extensive and variety is impressive and the prices are good!

I went today with a budget and little to no research done prior to buying a full SCUBA set (BCD, reg, boots, fins, safety gear, the works). I was helped by Mike, who was incredibly knowledgable, friendly, and helpful. He explained the difference between products and what would fit my purposes best (coral restoration work), so I could make an informed decision and save money when possible. I ended up leaving with all the gear I need and more while staying within my budget. It was a pleasure and I look forward to visiting again with any of my SCUBA needs in the future!
