Car was dirty. They obviously don’t really do much when people return the cars. But be sure they’ll charge you if you return it dirty.
Wonder where that cleaning fee goes if it’s not to wash the cars…

Nightmare from start! First of all, I thought I was in a third-world country at the rental office car lot . The place looks abandoned with the rudest security guard at the entrance. Prior to going to the Hertz rental lot, we called and made a reservation with a 4 o'clock rental .when we arrived at 4, they had never heard of our reservation. Waited one hour . The lady in pink was nice at first. Then the night mare began. Received the car smelled of smoke was filthy dirty with french fries under the backseat driver side, vomit under the mat in back seat. Was told to bring back Monday when they opened. We took pictures, Thank god ! It was only evidence. We took and cleaned and tried to deal with smoke. Drove it for week Polstar 2 was nice but still smelled dirty ended up taking back the following Monday only to be told they didn't have a replacement and was told to take a kia ev6 once again filthy also they told us since we brought it back on Monday and we rented on the Friday they closed out the contract for the first rental in which we pay 340.00 per week. We had to pay 75.00 a day instead of a switch out like the girl told us the Friday when we first picked up the rental.
Thank God we had pictures . They made an adjustment on the price after speaking with the manager. Then, 4 hours later, we were on our way for more of the night mare . Come to find out, due to the former rental, we couldn't change to our sun pass, so we got stuck paying 28.00 tolls on our bill instead of a few dollars. Them came Monday we were told to come in cause we had to go to the Kia Gunther dealership to service the car. Told it would be only a short visit .We were given a phone number, and Kia Gunther didn't
know of any Hertz service inspection and was told we would have to pay for the service. We didn't make the appointment. Forget about calling to tell Hertz the problem. After waiting 45 minutes on the phone with Hertz, we only to be told we had to talk to a manager at the rental office location . We couldn't call directly to the rental office or get a name over the phone . Ended up driving back to the Dania
rental office. We got the correct phone number, made an appointment with Kia Gunther, and were told Tuesday to come in at two and drop off the car and not promising a time it would be ready . They would give us a shuttle ride to our house but not pick us up. we decided to wait for the car .Four hours later, we were finally on the road again. we figured we were working for Uber and Hertz, and we could not make any money while our car was being serviced. When you call to report abuse, everyone transfers you in circles, and you end up waiting for hours on hold, finally giving up. Then when it comes to charging the ev cars it's not Uber or Hertz fault but the stations mostly are out of order or half the units are not working with a waiting line of 45 min wait to get plugged in.. We're just barely making money yet. Do not rent a ev vehicle from Hertz at the Dania beach office . Go elsewhere. During our visits to the charging stationsafter talking to other ev customers we learned from other Uber drivers at charging stations, they went somewhere else because of their bad experiences with the Dania Beach Hertz experiences. Read the other reviews if you don't believe our nightmare. Good luck with going green, America. Until there's more reliable charging stations in south Florida, you're better off staying with fossil fuel rental cars. Then to top it off we asked for a 1-800 Consumer complaint for Hertz they gave us a wrong number again and a bad website that does not exist bottom line is I don't think they want to make money or make it green in America

I'm only giving it 3 stars instead of 1 because the people that work there are stellar employees . The whole overall experience with the Uber rental is a nightmare. Don't rent a Tesla . Hertz is selling off most of its electric cars and you will have to return it within weeks. The billing is confusing and ridiculous and Uber needs to drop this company as a choice for rentals or fix the program

One of the worst decisions I made was to get a rental from Hertz. Regular rental sucks and Uber rental as well. The A/C stopped working on my trip, and I called for road assistance on Saturday, I was told it was after 5 p.m., so I had to call back Sunday. Left the car in the middle of nowhere and spent money on rideshare to go back and forward.Sunday, I was told the towing truck was coming in about 30 minutes. The truck showed up 3 hours after, without exaggerating the time wait, Hertz gave the driver the wrong address for drop off, which took almost one hour to call again and fix it. I spent money again on rideshare while the car was getting "fixed." The owner of the shop called me and told me Hertz never approved the repair. Today is Monday, and I'm being forced to go to Hertz again. Why? If I don't go and close the agreement, Hertz told me they will charge me for another week even if I don't have the car. This issue took all my weekends. I don't usually hate things, but I hate this company now. I came back to add more to this review, and I asked to speak with the manager and the employees gave me such a bad attitude when I asked to speak with the manager, great thing is manager can adjust the fares. Such a mafia company. NEVER AGAIN.

bad customer service. I waited two hours to return the car. I returned the car to them because they deceived me. They gave me an old car and said that was all they had. They said they would exchange it in a week for a good car. when I returned to them to exchange the car, they said that they could not exchange it because everything was reserved. but I know that they are issued on the spot on a first-come, first-served basis, and not by appointment. and the girl who said to wait for her on the street walked past me and pretended that she didn’t see me.
