“Upon walking up to this store it looks like a tiny Lil Mom and Pop store tucked away in the corner of a strip mall.... But once you get inside, it is just Amazing!! He has so much stock, and it is all Very Organized. If you have questions, they have the answers. I was very impressed over the variety of collectable toys in stock. “Great selection of the latest TCG releases and board games. The singles selection if kinda mediocre but always selling sealed product at msrp makes this one of the best spots in Broward. Other card stores have moved to the market/scalper pricing model but not Tate’s. They also have tons of tables for tournaments and casual gameplay. Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable about products so definitely worth checking out. Giant comic book store next door worth checking out too!”

“Stopped in for random costumes accessories left what a bunch of stuff for Halloween's to come! They are having a 60% off sale and the holiday isn't even over. That being said there were also some fall items on sale. I racked up on a few and used them to decorate my home in fall fabulous fashion. Hey it's not to late, right? And yes I did get those extra costume must haves one of which was fabric for a cloth waistband/belt. This was the only scary part about my trip. I was lucky to find fabric because the pickings were supa slim. I don't think this is a place for people who are really into sewing. However they had yarn for days and lots of items for crafts. A relaxed casual environment and friendly service were provided. On average their prices are regular or even a bit higher than other craft stores or departments. But, the deals are really good when they have them.”

I am a beginner artist and when Bastian greeted me at the front counter he was very welcoming and knowledgeable about different sketch kits and which one I should buy according to my level in art. It was a little hard to find a general sketch and drawing kit within the store. Nonetheless please have Bastian be recognized for his great service. :)”

“I’ll say first, this TCG spot is not for everyone. That said I love this shop, one of my favorites in South Florida. Complete opposite of other corporate offerings in this area. They carry a metric ton of funko pops and video games too if you’re into that also. This is a hidden gem for sure. Tables are mostly available only for tournament play so don’t expect to have access to them for casual/free play. I’d suggest checking them out because you never know what you’ll find!”

“I went to store 1041 in Fort Lauderdale to purchase a frame and was assisted by Lydia. I had to wait because she was helping another customer who appeared to have some disabilities. I was impressed with how she respectfully and patiently helped him through the framing customization process. When she was finished with him, she helped me select an appropriate, ready-made frame for my photograph and took the time to put it together for me. She did a super job!
