The only good thing about this hotel was the location and that is only if you are going to take a cruise. Checking in was unpleasant. It felt like they were doing us a favor to give us a room. After a long day of travel it it nice to feel welcome at the hotel you are staying at. The service in the restaurant for dinner was extremely slow. There was only 1 other table occupied so I don’t know what was taking so long. The food was mediocre at best. Our room had lights burned out and the pillows were like rocks (in all fairness they did bring better pillows and replace the lightbulbs in a timely way) but who wants to start your stay in a room that was not inspected. The mattress was terrible. It was super soft and provided no support. It was the worst mattress I have ever slept on. I tried to change rooms but to no avail. I don’t know how anyone could say the breakfast buffet was good. It was minimal. After walking through and told it was $25.00 pp we went to Toojays Deli nearby for a great breakfast at half the cost. BTW, parking was $25.00 for the first 3 hours so for a friend to come and meet us for breakfast was going to cost him $50.00. The bottom line in my opinion is it is a 2 star hotel and they are charging 4 star prices. I would say to find somewhere else to stay and if you do stay here have very low expectations. I will not be returning!

Rooms: Spacious bedroomFood & drinks: Very Mexican influenced menu. Quantity too much for the average Brit. Service friendly.Noteworthy details: Helpful staff when BA failed to load my bag from LHR. Eventually turned up following day. Good liaison with Viking rep on site.

If you book a room with this hotel than do yourself a favor and take a taxi or uber to get to it unless you enjoy standing around for 45 minutes waiting for it. We called the shuttle service at 7:45pm and we did not walk into the hotel doors until almost 9pm. The hotel is only 5 minutes away from the airport so you can do the math. The worst part of it is not only did we wait 40 minutes for it after the driver picked all parties up and we were almost leaving the airport the hotel calls him and tells him to go back around to pick someone else up!!! So the driver says " oh i forget to pick someone up I need to go back around'. So back into the airport traffic and when he gets to the terminal of course there is no one there to pick up so the hotel tells him to wait 15 minutes which everyone heard which at that point we all shared our opinion of that suggestion which did not bold well for the driver who than told the hotel and needless to say they told him to return. Now the aggravation completely set in we calmly checked into the hotel and asked were we could get something to eat as we have not had dinner. She states a fancy place in the hotel or more of a American cuisine at the hotel as well which we chose that and it is located right in the lobby by the bar. We were sat down at the table and being the only ones there you would think the service would be fast, nope! Eventually a waitress gave us our menus and a glass of water and came back about 15 minutes later to take the order. Once she took the order I can say she never came to the table again!!! I am not kidding!!! I can say we saw here standing at the bar just talking away with the bartender and another employee. Someone else brought the food out. After that we were never checked on and never even got a refill on water. There was another gentleman that would just walk around and fix a piece of silver ware on the table or wipe something down and than just stand around looking into space. Completely mind boggleing almost humorous at this point. Waitress did not even bring the check another person did. To busy at the bar I suppose. Needless to say I did not leave a tip which is hard for me to do but it was totally justified and I am sure I was the bad guy for it!! Once we did get to the room I was surprised as it was actually really nice and clean and had the largest TV that I have had in any hotel room. Total shame that the customer service here is so poor otherwise this could of been a completely different review.

We just checked in and we are disappointed at the quality of this hotel. Dirty walls and bathrooms. Scratched up door posts, rust stains and uncomfortable pillows. Definitely not a luxury hotel and definitely not worth the price. We are here for a conference and have to stay for the weekend. We are Marriott Bonvoy members and have never encountered this before. One thing we can expect are clean, put together rooms, not this time! We are once again, very disappointed. We will somehow make it through. Shame!

My experience was not a good one and because of this me or my teams will never stay at this property again. As loyal Bonvoy member (16 years and counting or maybe not) I am beyond frustrated and highly disappointed with the lack of response from the Sales Manager and the General Manager. I have opened up a file against the Sales Manager for his demeaning comments with zero response from anyone at this hotel., Only to find out that it was "settled" coincidently enough by the sales manager. After calling Marriott twice and being told that the General Manager would contact me I still have not received an email or phone call. It has been now been three weeks since this all began and again, still nothing!Walkability: The hotel itself was in a good location.
