Due husband having a new knee and heart issues we needed to rent a scooter. I saw that they have a lightweight folding scooter and rented it.
The driver left it the scooter p/u area and texted a picture to me. I texted back to him to confirm p/u. The scooter has plenty of power and worked great in the ports.
Best thing it folded up and sat upright on the rear legs. When in the cabin I sat it in front of the cabin door and could access the closets & bathroom.
Return to port returned to the scooter drop area and texted a photo to the driver.
Planning on renting in Feb.

Rented a transport chair for our Alaska cruise from The Special Needs Group. I ordered this chair because it is much lighter and smaller than a traditional wheelchair. When we arrived at our stateroom we noticed the front wheel of the chair was broken off at the hub. No way it was put in our room without noticing that. We called the Special Needs Group and informed them of the issue. They said they would get it taking care of and also sent the same response to us by text message. The next morning still no chair. We sent another text to them, with no response. We waited till 10am. Still with no chair or response. We asked our room attendant if we could borrow one of the ships chairs. They brought us a larger and much heavier wheelchair, but it was better that nothing and all they had. Wanted the smaller and lighter transport chair do to having to push my wife around with my bad back. Called the company upon returning. They refunded our money and then blew us off. Very disappointed. I do want to thank Royal Caribbean for loaning us a chair. Saved our trip.

ZERO STARS!!! THEY RENTED ME A SCOOTER AS WE WERE ABOUT TO BOARD A SHIP WITH NO INSTRUCTS ON WHAT TO DO IF THERE IS A PROBLEM. THROUGH MY SHORT CRUISE (ON THE SHIP), THE HANDLE BAR WHICH CKNTROLS IT KEPT SLIPPING FORWARD WHILE IN MOTION SO MY SON IN LAW HAD TO KEEP RE-TIGHTENING IT OVER AND OVER THROUGHOUT MY ENTIRE CRUISE PLUS BECAUSE OF THIS ISSUE, WHEN YOU GO TO TURN, AND WHILE ON THE EXCURSIONS, THE FAULTY SCOOTER WOULD ALMOST FLIP OVER. I WAS TALKING TO MY DOCTOR ABOUT MY EXPERIENCE AFTER THE CRUISE AND WAS TO CALL SPECIAL NEEDS AT SEA TO REPORT THE PROBLEMS. AFTER I FOUND THE BLUE CARD THAT THEY GAVE ME BEFORE BOARDING THE SHIP, THE REPRESENTATIVE APPEARED RACIST, WAS RUDE, INSENSITIVE AND NARROWMINDED TELLING ME YOU SHOULD HAVE REPORTED THE ISSUES ON THE SHIP TO THE SHIP’S STAFF AND THEY WOULD HAVE FIXED IT. WITH ABSOLUTELY NO INSTRUCTIONS EXCEPT HOW TO TURN IT OF AND ON FROM THE LADY I RENTED IT FROM OUTSIDE OF THE SHIP, HOW WAS I SUPPOSED TO KNOW THAT BEING THIS WAS MY FIRST (AND LAST) TIME RENTING A SCOOTER FROM THEM A IM A SENIOR CITIZEN WITH CHRONIC MEDICAL ISSUES SO I WASTED MY $200.00 AND HAD A HORRIBLE TIME ON MY 3 DAY CRUISE THANKS TO SPECIAL NEEDS AT SEA!!!!

I have used their services a couple of times and it has been an amazing experience! Placing The order was easy and the staff provided great customer service each time I spoke with them. The scooter was in good condition and the delivery was prompt. I highly recommend this company for your rental needs.

Good afternoon, my name is Mario Felipes and I honestly do not like to write anything negative, but I had a very bad experience with this company and they did not give me any solution. Last April 11 to 16, I requested their services from the icon of the seas cruise and when it arrived at my In the room, the scooter did not work. Members of the crew went to the room to help me use it and there was no repair. The scooter was in my room all week without me being able to use it.
When I arrived I made a complaint to the company and in the end no one gave me a solution.
If you request the services it is because you really need them. My 75 year old wife had to barely be able to push me a regular chair.
Please keep your customers in mind when they make complaints about something that you are providing service that does not work well because I personally do not recommend them due to my very bad experience.

I rented a mobility scooter from the Special Needs Group for cruise through the Caribbean. First time and I was nervous. The people at the Special Needs group were so comforting. They checked that the scooter was going to fit in my cabin. They met me at the shuttle bus with the scooter.It was fantastic. Scooter worked great on the ship and also with the ports. I had an early excursion on the last day the Special Needs Group met me at the excursion bus. What great service. Thank you.

I contacted the Special Needs Group for an upcoming cruise and they were quite helpful and reassured me that when I got to the cruise cabin, the scooter would be there waiting. It was in my cabin before I arrived. I contacted the ship re: disenbarkment tomorrow morning and asked for wheelchair assistance. I was told to drive the scooter to Deck 6 and I could get a wheelchair from there and I could just leave the scooter on Deck 6. I responded that was not the arrangement that we had made and I would be leaving the scooter in my room as was part of our agreement. I will walk to Deck 6 and go from there. I don't know if they have permission to hold on to the scooters, but I wasn't about to break my agreement. I was very well pleased with this transaction from beginning to end. I never had any issue other than operation issue when I ran over my friend's toes but just one time! He says it was operator error! It was so reassuring to know that I charged the scooter all night and it would be dependable all day! I will use your services on future cruises and I highly recommend your company for anyone needing special services. Even though I was traveling with others. I still felt my independence because I didn't need anyone to push me in a wheelchair. I even found the Casino all by myself! Not sure that was a good thing! Thank you for all that you do! I appreciate your wonderful company!

Ordered a wheel chair for my elderly mother for a cruise. It was a very poor excuse of a wheel chair and we did not use. It was rickety, handles were very sloppy. When I finally heard back the company, they denied there was a problem with the chair. Did offer credit for a future use, my mom is 88, not likely to do this again. Then told me they supply the courtesy chairs available on the cruise which we did use, so we DID "rent" a chair they supplied.

Our TA arranged for a hospital bed & a lift to be delivered to our cruise ship cabin. We were told that we would have to bring our own sling & chains for the lift as they do not supply them. I purchased a sling & packed it in our suitcase which took up quite a bit of room. Upon arrival in our cabin there was a bag holding a sling & chains on the lift!! The hospital bed was terrible! The rails fell off & when raising the whole bed the foot of the bed raised more than the rest of it. We will not use this company again.

I would avoid this company like the plague. My mother and father used this company for four different cruise vacations with no prior issues. However, we had to cancel our upcoming Alaska vacation that departed out of Vancouver because my father passed away. The reservation was made over the phone by my parents and a cancellation policy was verbally given to them of $50 as long as it wasn't immediately before the cruise. We cancelled four months prior to the sail date. Cancellation was for a death not for a change of plans. The company didn't care. In fact after cancelling, the company called back and notified us that they made a mistake and that the cancellation fee was actually $75 because it was sailing from an international port. A contract was never signed, the agreement was made over the phone two months prior and there was no compassion due to the death of my dad. They just wanted the extra $25 for a scooter reservation that they will indeed fill for another customer in the next 4 months. In fact when I asked for a supervisor the customer anti-service representative informed me that the supervisor would be in contact with me. A few minutes later, the same representative called me back telling me that the supervisor did not want to talk to me and that the cancellation charge was as described. This is elder abuse and no way to treat a once loyal customer.

Scooter was on ship when I arrived but as soon as I pulled forward scooter stopped. Went to adjust the key and the ignition switch pulled out of the scooter. The wiring wasn’t connected and was unable to explore our ports with my mom who has a bad back. I called customer service and they were closed. Had to push my mom around the ship which really messed up her trip having to depend on me to get anywhere.

I injured myself shortly before my cruise and I had the need for a scooter while on board the ship. I rented a scooter from SNG group at a very reasonable price and they told me I would be able to use the scooter off the ship in ports if desired. This worked out very well for me. It allowed me the freedom to explore the various ports. I had a problem at the beginning because the scooter didn't fit into my cabin (even though I had a standard balcony). My cabin steward told me I could leave it in the hallway outside my cabin when not in use, but there were no electrical outlets there that I could use for charging. I spoke with the cruise line and they said that they would take the scooter away at night, charge it, and return it to me the next morning. Perfect! I was very pleased with the service offered by SNG and also by the support I received from the cruise line. I had a great time thanks to them!

UPDATE: The requested item was never provided for my client. The email he promised to send to my client never happened either. I have no idea how a company can employ such a person!Their rep was RUDE to me on the phone, and got snippy with me when I repeated the info he asked for. I have zero confidence that what I ordered will arrive for my client's cruise. It was clear I was bothering him with my request.
