“This location is usually very busy, especially in the afternoon, but the store is still organized and easy to shop. In my experience, some other Five Below locations may have a little more variety or different items in stock, but I still come back to this one because I’ve always received good customer service. Today, August 22, around 1:30 PM, the employee who helped me was especially kind and helpful. I had a return, and I also brought back a foil balloon that had been filled here the day before and was already losing helium. She helped me with both without any problem and refilled the balloon for me. The store was busy at the time, but she was still patient, friendly, and very attentive. If you’re coming for party supplies, balloons, small gifts, or everyday Five Below items, this is a convenient location. Just keep in mind that because it gets a lot of traffic, some popular items may sell out faster. I really appreciated the service today and wanted to recognize the employee who helped me.”
Dollar General opened its 20,000th U.S. store on February 24th in Alice, Texas. It’s a major milestone for the discount chain that started as one small general store back in 1955. Starting with a ribbon cutting ceremony, the grand opening celebration began at 9am. First customers received some freebies - tote bags filled with free product samples and snacks from DG's Clover Valley brand.
