Autonation Toyota Weston - Disappointingly Poor Customer ServiceI recently purchased a brand new 2023 Toyota Crown from Autonation Toyota Weston. While the vehicle itself is nice, my experience with their service department has been extremely disappointing.Shortly after purchasing my Crown, I noticed an annoying wind noise coming from the passenger side, even with all the windows up. This seems to be an issue endemic to the 2023 Crown model. I contacted Toyota corporate to make them aware of the problem, expecting my local dealer to be proactive in helping resolve the matter.When the service manager from Autonation called me back, I had high hopes they would advocate for me as a customer. However, I was let down tremendously. Despite confirming that the wind noise issue does indeed affect many 2023 Crowns, they refused to open a case with the factory about it. The service representative who took care of me said there was nothing they could do and that I would have to contact the corporate office directly.As a brand new car buyer who spent thousands at their dealership, I'm absolutely stunned at their unwillingness to stand behind their product and their customers. Why can't they represent me and other Crown owners to Toyota corporate about this problem? We shouldn't have to jump through hoops to get a known issue addressed.Between the runaround and utter lack of customer service, I'm frankly disappointed I purchased from Autonation Toyota Weston. If this is how they treat someone with a fresh, costly purchase, I can't imagine the difficulties dealing with them long-term. I expected much better from such a major dealership.

My appointment was at 8 AM, I was helped immediately by Christian. I explained to him that I needed to be out by 10 AM. He assured me that he would make every effort to make sure I was out by 10. My car was taken in they did what they needed to do and washed and back to me by 9:45. Excellent experience and excellent staff. Christian did an amazing job. This is now the second time Christian helped me and both times he did an excellent job. Thank you till the next time I’m inn. Tim

Excellent advice, you can see the teamwork between the financier and the sales advisor, the spectacular attention, you feel at home, I loved the AutoNation Toyota Weston experience.

I had a great experience with the Ricardos ( Ricardo in Sales and Ricardo in Finance )I was able to negotiate prior to coming online and I would definitely recommend that it made transaction much smoother because everyone knew the expectations. Everyone was super friendly and knowledgeable. I’m very happy with my car :)

I called about a vehicle I liked, negotiated a price then came in to drive it. Only after I arrived was I told it had a bad CV joint which AutoNation agreed to replace. It wasn't until I was walking out the door that they informed it it would be 3 weeks for the repair. So, I returned the vehicle and was supposed to get a refund. Well, I stopped payment on the check - glad I did - and it's been 9 days and I still have a $5k charge on my credit card. I've called twice and was told it the charge was reversed and it would take a day or two to appear on my card. Obviously a lie since it's been 8 days since I was told the charge was reversed. They obviously lie. Still haven't gotten the money returned even though I returned their broken vehicle. Wouldn't trust these people.EDIT: I was contacted by Autonation and I was told that they needed 5-7 business days to take the charge off my card. Not sure why I was never told this before. I was also promised that the charge would be off by Tuesday the latest. Well, it's Tuesday at 8:42 eastern time. Still have the charge on my card. Do you want to work with people like this? In a world where Amazon reverses the charge within 5 minutes of putting the return in the mail - Autonation needs this long?

The five stars are for Al Corrales. He's new to me and was very helpful. The overall status of the dealership itself is poor. I would give that one star because:1) I have been doing business at this dealership for at least 10 years.2) I was there for over 4 and a half hours today. I wasn't aware that there was food and drink available (on the food truck)until I asked a manager, Rava. There could have been a sign or the service advisor needed to tell me. It was ''complimentary'' but you had to pay for FFries. Bad business move.2) There were at least 10 people in red shirts standing around. They should have been working(perhaps at the car wash location since that took over an hour to get done). Bad business move.3) I am VERY disappointed in the vehicle itself (2021 Rav 4) because there were 4 things pointed out (that I had to pay for) that needed repair, replacement or cleaning. I have owned at least two Corollas prior to this vehicle that NEVER needed anything except an oil change periodically. My car has 23,000 miles on it!! What could be dirty or broken? It make me wonder if I was being told the truth. Bad feeling.4) I left there on Saturday very unhappy. I have maintenance paid for until 100,000 miles so I need to continue getting service there. I hope things change for the better.Martha Kaynatma
