Carriage Hills Plaza, located on Stirling Road in Davie, is a well-sized strip mall built in 1980, covering nearly 65,000 square feet on almost 6 acres. It offers over 250 parking spaces, making it convenient for visitors. The plaza's main anchor is Foodtown, a popular grocery store currently undergoing renovation, known for its wide selection of international products including Latin American, Southeast Asian, and other global foods. The store attracts many shoppers, especially on weekends, for grocery shopping and dining. The plaza hosts several tenants catering mainly to the Vietnamese community, such as a bahn mi cafe, Vietnamese street food restaurant, bubble tea shop, beauty supply store, nail salon, and coin laundry. It is a lively spot with many people shopping and eating out. Visitors enjoy the variety of international spices, fruits, and vegetables not commonly found at larger stores like Walmart or Publix, often at similar or lower prices. Food offerings in the plaza are diverse, with outstanding Asian cuisine including pho, bahn mi, and Thai food, making it a hub for Asian cuisine lovers. Specialty drinks are available, though some, like the painkiller, may not meet expectations. Overall, Carriage Hills Plaza is a vibrant shopping and dining destination with a multicultural flavor and a welcoming atmosphere.
